Continues to be very good food, as you'd expect from a PubCo founded by Raymond Blanc, but the service marks it out from it's competitors - that little extra touch that always creates a really good atmosphere

En primer lugar lo positivo - El personal era muy amable y servicial. El ambiente era acogedor. La comida llegó a tiempo y el sabor era de un buen nivel. Negativos - Tamaño de la porción. Yo tenía el mango de cordero que venía con patatas y verduras. No me puede faltar el sabor de la caña pero venía con 4 trozos de patata (con lo que me refiero a 2 patatas miniatura del tamaño de un supermercado cortadas por la mitad) . Se veía muy bonito en el plato, pero definitivamente no se estaba llenando. En realidad tenía hambre después de terminar (y no soy codicioso o con sobrepeso (soy un delgado 6 pies 2 macho)). Yo añadiría que las patatas estaban mal hechas pero para ser justos esto puede ser preferencia personal, no soy un fan de los spuds al dente. Como tenía tanta hambre pedí pudín. Pedí toffee pegajoso que venía con salsa de mantequilla y una gota minúscula de una sustancia yogur blanca que era la temperatura del refrigerador. Cuando pido pudín de toffee pegajoso (que era de un tamaño razonable) esperaría que venga con una cantidad razonable de algo muy frío (el helado funciona) para complementarlo. Mis primeros 2 bocados de pudín de toffee pegajoso no fueron complementados con esta sustancia blanca, el resto del pudín se comió solo. Por el dinero que te cobran puedes obtener una mejor comida en otro lugar. En conclusión, si quieres salir por la noche con amigos y familiares pero no eres un buen culinario o tienes un apetito muy pequeño, entonces te recomiendo ir aquí. Sin embargo, si la comida es un aspecto importante para tu velada, me iría a otra parte.

Went for a Sunday roast. One of the best ones I’ve ever had! The beef was amazing. Cooked to perfection. As well as the dessert - had pistachio soufflé - absolutely gorgeous. Will be back very soon.

Hemos cenado aquí un par de veces recientemente, pero solo acabo de escribir una crítica del restaurante. Honestamente puedo decir que este es uno de los mejores lugares en los que hemos estado últimamente. Cuando digo agradable, quiero decir que el personal es tan encantador y acogedor, el ambiente es genial y la comida nunca decepcionante. Vivimos en West Sussex, pero pasamos bastante tiempo en Teddington y Kingston y siempre que estamos en Teddington esperamos con ansias cenar en el restaurante. Great pub in the heart of Teddington

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch with the family. The atmosphere is great, the staff amazing and the food really great. It is child-friendly and really good value for money. Highly recommended.

El menú habitual aquí es fabuloso. Platos increíbles servidos bien. Los domingos parecen convertirse en una cinta transportadora, y no es bueno. Nuestros asados llegaron en 5 minutos. Ambos estaban fríos. El pollo seco y demasiado cocido. El paquete de remolacha vegetariana que he tenido en otras sucursales de la cadena. Es demasiado. La trufa. El pesto. El cheddar ahumado. Demasiados sabores encontrados. Simplifícalo. La verdura es fabulosa - zanahorias asadas, remolacha, patatas, repollo, pudines Yorkshire - todo fabuloso. ¡Sírvalos calientes!

Excellent food and service. I dropped a point on atmosphere because we were in an alcove off the main restaurant, on a long table, it was noisy and we couldn't hear each other very well. Which was disappointing, for the older members of the party in particular, as it was a family celebration meal. The request had been for a table in the main dining room. The atmosphere in the pub is lovely apart for that one point. In light of publican's comments I can totally see why the room we had is popular, it's super lovely. It just wasn't perfect for our oldies. We will sit at another table if we have an opportunity to come back.

My wife and I had an amazing meal here. We had three courses and all the dishes were absolutely delicious. The service was really attentive and friendly and the atmosphere is great. We also felt that for the quality of food, it was great value. Would highly recommend.

Ambiente schön, und die Bedienung ist überaus freundlich, ich bekomme eine Bierberatung. Als Vorspeise nehmen wir ein Cheese Soufflee. Das war phantastisch. Als Hauptspeise wähle ich Fasan, das war nichts. Die Fasanenbrust hatte die Größe eines Fischstäbchen, drumherum war relativ lustlos verschiedenes Gemüse drapiert. Nicht mal im Ansatz zum satt werden, aber auch nicht so gut um als Gourmet Essen durchzugehen.

Gran personal, feliz, eficiente, educado a pesar de muy ocupado. gran almuerzo del domingo, pero cld ser incluso mejor si mejoran sus patatas asadas, que eran sosas y pálidas. carne de res excelente, ambiente buzzi bizzi amable y acogedor. muy agradable para perros en la zona del bar. agua y bics ofrecido!

One of my favourite pub/ brasseries. You can enjoy friendly service, good beers and wide choice of drinks in the pub or visit the restaurant with a choice from specials, the set menu or choose from the Ala Carte menu. Not a huge wine list but offers a varied selection of good quality wines. Great place for lunch or dinner. Lovely outside areas .

Good food and atmosphere. Staff friendly, but service was slow, and it would be good to know you need to order from the bar. We waited a while before asking. Would also be nice if they offered condiments. We had to ask at the bar. Litlle things, but it's not cheap, so expect better service

6 friends had an amazing night here. The food was delicious but it was the friendliness and efficiency of the many staff which made our visit special. We were in a quieter part of this buzzy restaurant, which meant everyone could hear what was being said. The level of staffing here reminded me of how restaurants used to be before the past few difficult years. I hope they keep it up - we shall be back.

We recently had a delightful evening at The White Brasserie in Teddington. The ambiance was simply cozy and inviting, perfectly blending the charm of a traditional pub with the modern feel of a brasserie. The menu was a treasure trove of French-inspired dishes, all beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to Ollie, whose attentive and friendly service made the evening even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a lovely spot for a meal, I highly recommend giving The White Brasserie a try!

Wonderful ambience. Friendly service. But very manageable portions that don't justify the price. The outside of the burger was completely burnt black, it was incomprehensible how something like that could even be served.

We have been going to the Kings Heads for many years. The new owners have raised the level of their service, food and the atmosphere. We were a party of 8 and enjoyed our lunch very much. The service was excellent. The food also excellent. The menu had so many choices and at this time of year you can choose from the normal menu and the Xmas menu as well. Excellent

Had a lovely lunch with friends. Steaks excellent & hake was beautiful. Pithvier went down extremely well too! Desserts were delicious & beautifully presented! Service friendly, prompt & not intrusive. Thank you Adam! All in all, a very enjoyable afternoon! Will definitely be revisiting and have already recommended to several friends!

The beef Sunday roast was amazing

This remains my favourite restaurant in our area. The food is consistently at a high standard. Staff is excelent, for example being very helpful to accomodate a last minute change in the number of people in our group for yesterdays dinner.

Never had a bad meal here. The Sunday roast last weekend was the best we have had. This goes hand in hand with fantastic service from the great team, a real pleasurable experience

Visiting Teddington recently and my family couldn’t be happier that we chose this great pub for dinner! Great food, great atmosphere and excellent service. Todo el mundo conectado a The Kings Head es siempre encantador. Acogedor, amable y profesional. El comedor está decorado de forma muy tradicional. Estaba muy ocupado ayer a la hora del almuerzo y se sentía muy acogedor. Todos teníamos dos platos. El suflé de queso y los entrantes para picar cangrejo cayeron muy bien. Pato, pollo y cerdo eran todos muy buenos. Tenemos mucha suerte en Teddington de tener un restaurante tan consistentemente bueno.

Had an okish meal, as a Vegan whos not keen on mushrooms, I struggled with the mains available on the menu (both included mushrooms) Otherwise it was a lovely meal, great that we received a 25% discount and a free bottle of wine and great service as always. Previous review Had a great meal, fairly extensive menu offer a loy of options. Not a cheap place to eat, but service is good and they offer a sign up discount 25% off a meal for you and upto 7 friends. Worth signing up, we will be back.

The best place to enjoy lunch before a game at Twickenham. The food was excellent and the organisation perfect including arranging a car to the ground. The Kings Head have got it all sorted. Great food, fantastic service and impeccable organisation. If only they could sort the result too. Thank you. The whole experience made for a great day.

Delete the delightful pub to have a drink

This was surprising and really lovely. I’d never been to this pub before despite living in the general area for many years. It’s great to be able to discover something new and worth returning to. The food here was exceptional and the service was very good and just the right amount of friendly. The atmosphere was busy but it did not feel over crowded as it is a large space with lots of smaller sub areas. We didn’t have to wait too long for each course and I enjoyed every mouthful. My only regret was we had no room for pudding. The cheese soufflé only became cheesy when you poured the sauce on so you could put as much on as you wanted. The pork came with a crackling tuile. The wine that went with the meal, in our case a red Montepulciano, was very good as well. Fruity and full bodied. I’ll definitely come back here.

We are soon opening a new dog shop on the Teddington high street and I think we’ve just found our new local. Great service, food and a cracking fresh Guineas

We celebrated my wife's birthday as a party of 15. The staff were friendly, particularly Mariella who served our table and overall the set menu choices were very good and reasonably priced. We were given an area to ourselves which was perfect for the occasion. Would recommend 😊

We try to travel to Teddington twice a year for a break and always book The Kings Head for dinner as we find the steaks delicious and there’s always a great atmosphere. We booked for the Saturday night and we both enjoyed the Fillet Steaks. We booked again for the Wednesday night not realising that it was ‘steak night’ where you can enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine. Again, both of us ordered the Fillet Steaks well done! as this is how we like our steaks. Unfortunately, mine was rather red in the middle. The waitress asked me if I wanted a new steak or the same one cooked more. I opted for the one that I had just to be cooked more. Whilst waiting on my steak my partner had already finished his meal which was a bit disappointing The waitress came over and said that they would remove my steak from the bill and offered us both a complimentary desert. This was a lovely gesture from management and very much appreciated. We hope to be back next year! 🤗

Always had a good time on the four occasions we have been.

We just want to give a huge shout out to Natalie who was our waitress this evening! From the moment we arrived she made us feel so welcome and nothing was any trouble to her. She was so pleasant, joyful and professional. She really provided a great service without being intrusive and when we paid our bill she simply said ‘ we hope to see you again soon! And guess what… we will be back soon! Thank you for a great dining experience Natalie - you are an asset to the Kingshead! ☺️

We took some very good friends of ours, who loved it all. All 4 of us loved the selection of food (hard to choose), the service and atmosphere are all excellent. This was our 4th visit and again we had an excellent time & very good value for quality food.

Exceptional staff, especially Harriet who went above and beyond to cater to our amazing 96 year old Aunts needs. It really meant a lot to our family that we were so well taken care of. And the Sticky Toffee Pudding was out of this world..! Cant wait to eat here again.

Nice pub and nice people. However I paid £16.95 for a basic burger with nothing on it and had to add £1.50 for ketchup, £2 for bacon and £1.50 for cheese... And it was overcooked and quite hard. A bit disappointed to be honest.

Another great experience at TKH. We always the menu interesting, with a range of delicious sounding options, difficult to choose. Food was seasonal autumn. Celeriac fondant was delicious veggie starter as was cheese soufflé classic and artichoke pithivier main also very nice. Pheasant sausages and mash were deliciously gamey - they did warn us in case we wanted to change our order. We were celebrating a birthday and team made a big fuss and brought a glass of prosecco and dessert with a birthday candle. Great job as always, TKH Team!!

Beetroot & smoked cheddar parcel v i 18.50 truffled artichoke pesto Ordered the above on vegetarian menu was so disappointed small slab of beetroot with a dollop of pesto and a micro amount of lettuce I should have sent it back but instead ordered 2 portions of fries dreadful!!!!!

This time, we just went to the Kings head for a drink. Chilled atmosphere, and it was nice to see dogs. We were served at the bar quickly and friendly. We didn't have food.

I reviewed this pub last year having enjoyed a lovely lunch with family. This year we did it again and I thought I’d update my review because we had such a great time again, but enjoyed aspects of this place we hadn’t experienced last time. Firstly, it was a hot day so we were able to eat outside. The pub has a very nice outdoor space to the rear of the building which I didn’t know existed last year when we enjoyed an exclusive little “snug” indoors. The outside has plenty of umbrellas to keep customers comfortable in the shade, including one very large one that easily kept the six of us cool plus a couple of other tables as well! Our waiter was very cheerful and jokey, a chap who obviously believes that hospitality starts with letting customers know you enjoy your job! He explained the day’s specials whilst handing out the menus, and made sure we all had water before ordering. Once again, this pub offers superior food and service. I’m not a vegan, but a committed omnivore, but after a week of eating out on rich food and a lot of red meat, I decided to go light and fresh, so I ordered the beetroot terrine and their super grain salad. Both dishes were extremely flavourful and our local (rather underwhelming vegetarian and vegan) restaurant in Bath could really take a look at how this pub caters for vegans! These are really the reasons for updating the review: this pub offers great food that’s attractive to everyone and it’s a really good choice on a hot summer’s day! I popped in late on night for a relaxing couple of beers, ordered two, as I was thirsty then quickly shot across the road to order a takeaway meal. When I came back both of the beers I ordered were on the bar, I only pay by cash but it was refused?!, they only take card payment?! The mouth watering beers were there in front of me but I couldn’t possess them 😩. I asked if the barman could possibly pay on his card & I’d handsomely compensate him but to no avail! I walked to the next pub & you know what question first past my lips??? Do you take cash! In my world cash is king, card payment is a slippery slope to slavery!

Harriet, Matt and the team were outstanding when hosting the reception following my husband's funeral service. The attention to detail was perfect, as were the canapés, and the use of the restaurant and garden was indeed necessary, to cater for the large turnout! An update today, July 2024: service five star, ambiance (in the garden) five star, and the most delicious beef I've ever had the pleasure to be given: five star. A superb Sunday Lunch. Well done, Kings Head ! December 2023: Considering how good the Kings Head used to be, my birthday lunch yesterday was a sad experience. While the food was adequate (although my sausages were tough as old boots - reheated ?) the service was appallingly slow and we had to remind the staff to bring things - when we managed to catch the waiter's eye. No excuses please that "the kitchen was busy". There were only three tables occupied in the back room as we ordered. This was our second meal there in two weeks, and it was much the same last time. Not happy.

Really enjoyed the food here - cheese soufflé and duck were particularly excellent. Wines are reasonably priced and the Viognier is great! Service was quick and friendly and there's a nice buzz in the dining room. Will definitely be back!

Amazing food and terrific service and really good value thanks

Hands down best roast I've ever had other than my own. Beef was perfectly tender and loved the bottomless Yorkshires. Only negative point was it's quite hot during the summer.

A friend and I had a delicious lunch here at the King's Head. Everything we ordered was perfect and we feasted like Henry. (Special mention for the pistachio soufflé, and the lightest, crispiest battered fish 'n' chips) Brilliant service by Adam who looked after us entertainingly and excellently. It's always a treat eating at the King's Head and I've never been disappointed yet. A Teddington Treasure.

Our party of three had an excellent meal (fish soup, hake, seafood terrine, confit of duck, ham hock terrine, fish and chips), the prices softened by a special offer - which is something they do quite often. The wine is expensive however - nearly like having a fourth person at the table. Very pleasant staff, service was good, if a tad slow. Nice relaxed atmosphere : quite busy, with a varied clientele. Always happy to go back there.

Another great meal and service at TKH. Sunday lunch, we chose the veggie option, cheese and beetroot pasty which was delicious. All the roast potatoes and trimmings were perfectly cooked ie just enough, not overcooked and offered on ‘all you can eat’ basis. Rhubarb and lemon crumble was divine, loads of fruit, a tang of lemon and sweet crumble topping. We will be back (of course!)

Lovely find. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The back garden was a wonderful place to sit especially since we had beautiful weather when we were there. Inside was also beautifully decorated. They also do Sunday roast so definitely going to go back to try it as I'm sure it will be delicious judging from what we tasted today.

So disappointed as we had be given good reports. Arrived on time, shown to our table, water and menus given. 30 minutes later nothing, not even a request if we would like drinks. So we departed feeling let down. The 1 star is for the water.

We would not call this a dining experience, the menu for the virgin voucher was embarrassing. We were not allowed to order from the main menu and pay the difference. Therefore we didn’t use the voucher and ordered the steak which was ok but the salad was four baby salad leaves and some chips, the desserts ice cream and cheesecake were bland and poor. Overall and poor experience and won’t return. Harriet, it was not just the menu it was how it was handled, I have never been so embarrassed. People could quiet clearly here the waiter say oh you can’t have this menu. We felt we were not good enough and thats unacceptable. If you offer this experience then at least handle it a lot better. And either do a day where that’s the only menu or put both menu’s on the table or even ask as you book in so as the menu could be changed without the embarrassment and people as not put in this situation.

Went there for an earl dinner..the back room overlooking the garden is quite fancy and not very pub like. It feels more of a bobo spot rather than a pub. The big grill and the open kitchen are there to be seen and appreciated (and a clever marketing idea) as people will be treated by a nice grill dish which are also the most expensive ones. The quality of the food is lovely, but still nothing to write home about. Good wine menu with different options. The waiters are almost on the younger side, but very lovely and knowledgeable and will be able to help you with your questions. It is pricey. Be prepared for quite a hefty bill. Is it justified? Not too sure to be honest. Main course were lovely and we liked them, 2 steaks and a burger a caraffe of wine and 3 desserts around 100 pounds. Notable is the pistachio soufflé, while the flour less cake need a bit more umpf to keep up with rest of the flavours. Also not too hot of the rectangular dishes used to serve the steaks in. Not really nice looking and makes things look smaller (plus we were told not very handy for the waiters

Food is so delicious, the best in teddington, highly recommended! One thing to make visit more pleasant if you can move bicycle rack at least 2 meters to the left. It was such a task to park in a spot behind it, and if somebody park the bike after we won't be able to leave that parking place.

Had a wonderful time here for Easter Sunday. The food is great and the staff went the extra mile.

Good to sit out front and like the oldy worldly architecture opposite.
