Really good. Good 1&2 but dessert was pretty poor. Clafouti, crispy top, slathered in cinnamon. No, no, no. Wine very good and good value. Service excellent.

Food was decent but service lacking. We didn't feel terribly welcome, and they came back to ask what beverages we ordered because they forgot (party of 2, not that many items to remember) but then still brought the wrong drink. Bread basket charged at £4.50 contained somewhat stale baguette from Tesco's across the road. Not impressed.

SO delicious and amazing value. £28 for three courses, in Kew Gardens, in 2024?!! Delicious seared tuna, followed by chicken, vegetables and delicious dauphinoise style potatoes, plus a chocolate and brioche pudding and lovely wines and brilliant service- thank you!!

Visiting Kew? Feeling hungry but don't want to feel stuffed? Then Ma cuisine is the place to go. Great staff, wonderful food, one of the best meals we have had in a long time. I would suggest booking as it does get busy. One can imagine this being in a quaint little village in France. As i get older I find that some restaurants give too large portions for my appetite, here you have a wonderful filling meal but portion size just right. Excellent blending of flavours .

From the moment the head waiter greeted us, we knew we were in a restaurant that cared for its customers. The staff smiled and so did the customers as they were enjoying good food. We chose the specials that day, slow cooked sardines which were accompanied by a potato salad and other relishes and scallops which were equally well cooked and flavoured. The Iberico pork combination of a slow cooked belly and a fast cooked loin was equally delicious and because I couldn’t drink alcohol went well with a dry French apple juice. The other main course was a sea bass fresh and light. The accompanying vegetables were perfectly balanced, creamy dauphinoise, sweet red cabbage and fresh broccoli. The desert was also creative, and we shared it. Portion sizes were excellent, to enjoy the variety on offer. Ma, should be proud of the cooking that happens in her name!

Such a good surprise, reasonable price (for London) excellent quality food, the chicken was so tender and the sauces are to die for. Great service as well, nice selection of wine.

Booked through folk discount deal. When we received the bill, the discount was not made and therefore we asked politely. When we received the second bill we believed the discount was already added as we asked, so we paid without careful inspection. After arriving home and checked the receipt the discount was not added !! I had to go back to the restaurant and asked the refund as well as service charge refund. I received no apologies still

Honestly, we have eaten around the world and would say this is one of the best restaurants “pound for pound”. We had fresh, beautifully cooked and presented food. Service was very good and is a cute little bistro - amazing French food! I was very impressed and will definitely be coming back as is so close to Kew Gardens. Couldn’t recommend Ma Cuisine higher enough

Lovely French Classic, good foods with good selection of wines and French ciders. For the starter, we had Grilled mackerel, scallops and pate’ which were delicious, little less impressed with the main course but no complaints here, worth stopping by after visiting Kew Gardens

First time here and I was really impressed with the food. The flavors did blend in so well. A favorite restaurant from our host friends. The fish main was exquisite and tasty. Well recommended.

This about our 4th or 5th visit to Ma Cuisine over the past couple of years. The food is generally good, some nice traditional French dishes. The set menu this weekend was ok, nothing too special but the food we had was nice, the seared tuna starter was nice and the rib-eye was tasty. For this first time in all of our visits we had some bad attitude from the waitress. Seemed unusual and unnecessary perhaps a communications challenge? Otherwise a nice meal with friends

We booked this purely on the basis of reviews as we needed somewhere local to Kew Gardens for an early dinner. Despite arriving very early we were accommodated. It is rare for all three of us to be equally delighted with a meal but Ma Cuisine managed that. All three courses (mix of menu and specials) were superb, as was the wine. Service was professional. The sense of authentic French food was unquestioned. A real find and one I'm sure we will find an excuse to revisit. I should note it is not an inexpensive meal but the quality warrants the pricing.

Really excellent stuff. Very often a French-focused restaurant is not strong on vegetarian dishes, but the one we had was superb and I want to try to find a recipe for it. A very fine and well-chosen wine list as well. We hope to return!

Never been here before and we weren't disappointed. I had the duck and it was delicious, I don't usually have dessert but we decided to have the crepe suzette and the apple tart. Both were delicious, my friend said she could eat them again. They have a good selection of wine too. The staff are friendly and add to the atmosphere. I'd recommend booking because it was busy.

Very happy to have found this French restaurant in Kew. We enjoyed three excellent courses, including drinks and digestifs for £70pp, which was fantastic value for the quality of the meal. Service was friendly and efficient and there was a lovely atmosphere on our Saturday evening - clearly lots of local residents who are in regularly.

Excellent lunch after a visit to Kew Garden. Advise booking as is very popular. We got a 2:30pm slot but is open all day if you require more time at Kew. Delicious food with excellent presentation and attentive waiters. Will be back.

Excellent French cuisine, changing with the seasons

One of the best meals we have enjoyed for a long time in the UK - Food was cooked to perfection and the proprietor was friendly and attentive.

Ok, negatives, or should I say the one and only negative out of the way first. The service by all waiting staff was excellent but could be a little more aware that you were waiting to order. But once that was over, the maitre'd and the other two ladies were always on hand to help. Now the food. Excellent is all I can say. I've eaten French food North, South, East, West, and Central France, and I'd say it was the measure if not better than all the little bistros I've eaten in over the years. The scallops were fresh with a rich creamy sauce followed by the chicken breast with an equally decadent sauce, tarragon pesto fried gnocchi and tasty accompanying vegetables and potato gratin. I finished with the crepes suzette and vanilla ice cream and a generous shot of Grand Marnier. Definitely try Ma Cuisine and enjoy the welcoming cosy atmosphere, excellent food, and overall excellent service.

Lovely relaxed and friendly French Restaurant

The best chickenbreast -combo I have ever had. Duck was also excellent. Pure delight and highly recommended. I guess booking is needed in the evenings, since there are only about 26 seats. Friendly service as well.

This is a brilliant restaurant - yes it’s a local gem, but it is probably the best restaurant in Kew and Richmond. The food is consistently first class, and the service always outstanding. Each aspect of this restaurant is always excellent - you must visit!!

We couldn't believe our luck at finding this place for an unplanned lunch. I cannot remember when I had such delicious calf's liver. We enjoyed everything. It was all beautifully presented and we were served quickly. We will definitely return.

Dinner after kew lights was exactly what my family wanted ,great food and friendly service,specially the halibut with caviar sauce was super tasty and my Flan and pear dessert was exceptional ,we will back next year .

The food was OK but the service wasn't great. The sour-faced middle-aged woman who served us seemed to resent our presence and it took ages for our orders to arrive. Very noisy and over-crowded.

Not providing the ingredients that provided in the menu, being hesitate with foods and being lazy at food, and having a bad work attitude. Extremely slow food deliver.

We were meeting up with family before going round the illuminations at Kew Gardens. Our meeting point was at the restaurant for a meal before we went into to the gardens. The restaurant had a good atmosphere from the word go, and the staff were very accommodating of my little 2-year-old nephew William. The food that we all had was delicious. I and my niece had the best chicken that either of us had ever tasted which came with dauphinois potatoes and vegetables, and my other half had the sea bream. For our sweet we all had the dark chocolate and hazelnut mousse and raspberry sorbet which once again it was delicious. All the dishes that we had were well presented - my compliments to the chef for his delicious food. I would love to have a French restaurant like this near to where I live and will certainly go back to this one when I am next in the area.

Ma Cuisine is a charming French bistro and it has a warm buzzy atmosphere. We very much enjoyed our lunch and all our courses were refined and very tasty. The set lunch menu also offers very good value while offering a good range of choice.

Great french food in the heart of London. Slightly chilly on a cold evening.

We stumbled across this humble little bistro by chance after a trip to the gardens. Saw it had great reviews but any expectations we held were truly blown out of the water. About fifteen minutes after sitting down the waiter came and brought us a glass each of fizz to apologise for keeping us waiting, which we didn't mind as we arrived ten minutes before our booking. We both ordered fish starters, one smoked trout and one mackerel. Both tasted amazing and presented like you'd expect in a modern arty fine dining place, which this certainly wasn't. Mains weren't quite so meticulous in their presentation, just good hearty cooking which was more what we expected. Fantastic french toast pudding also. One of the best meals I can remember and I will definitely be coming again.

My fiancée and I went last night for dinner, I had the coq au van, whilst she had the duck. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and warm. Would return.

A friend invited us to lunch at this tiny but popular French Cafe. He was correct in saying that they are always on point. Immediately I noticed that the servers were patient, professional and worked efficiently. The appetizers of scallops, pate & smoked haddock was memorable. The main course of Chicken breast, Liver & Fish Fillet was even more mouth-watering. The menu courses they offer are complete with matching cocktails. Looking forward to having such an outstanding cuisine here again soon.

From the tiny table in the corner with a whiff of air freshener where we sat and waited for a good 10 minutes, to the glasses of champagne we treated ourselves to....that were not champagne....through to the only fish dish on the menu having bacon in the peas with no warning (in this day and age - seriously?) and the last straw the 'large' glasses of wine we ordered supposedly 250ml but nowhere near. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and had walked past Ma Cuisine many times thinking how lovely it looked so decided to treat ourselves. We had told them it was our anniversary but they were completely disinterested. It was just a real let down and we walked home feeling very dispirited and £150 worse off. The food was delicious but bacon in the peas for my husband who hasn't eaten meat since 1989.....

We tried this after a trip to Kew and were very impressed. The smells emanating from inside were enough to tempt us in from down the street! Although fully booked we were well accommodated with a table outside. Service was swift, friendly and kind and included complimentary bread. I had the coque au vin, and my wife had the bream. Both were fantastic, and came with delicious vegetables and dauphinoise potatoes. We also shared the apricot tart dessert. Everything was fairly priced, great quality and solid portions that didn't leave you wanting. Lovely to have authentic food of France, not just French food! We will return...

Food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Our compliments to the chef. Staff were attentive and friendly. The set menu prices were quite reasonable. The atmosphere was cosy and authentic. The toilet could do with some bleach and better cleaning and it would be helpful if they could offer soya or oat milk or any other non dairy drink with coffee. Other than that everything was great. We had a wonderful time and will go back again.

A wonderful little gem in the heart of Kew. We were visiting Kew Gardens for the first time and wanted somewhere for lunch. Set lunchtime menu was perfect and amazing value. Wonderful food and great service.

Food is very good, it's always been. However the service made me and my friend very cross. First we were outside trying to get The Fork discount before 7pm (unsuccessfully) and the waiter/ maître d' didn't offer any help or invited us in, it was chilly out there. We then ordered the 2 course set menu @£25 pp and two glasses of house white at £7.50 each. My friend wanted a dry wine and he suggested Sauvignon Blanc to which we agreed. Little did we know that that cost us £12 each!!. Our bill, instead of £32.50 each plus service was £42.67 (over £80 in total!!). He even calculated £47.00 each, my friend noticed it and he readjusted. Unacceptable. Besides, one glass was chipped and the wine warm. We reacted politely but with hindsight should've deducted the service charge included. I live in Kew, my friend drove 45 minutes to dine with me there. We were so disappointed with the overall reception. Food great, maître d' still needs to learn about hospitality.

We’ve been regular customers at Ma Cuisine since moving to Kew 3 years ago. Always felt incredibly welcome, and received great service for lunch and dinner, whether just us or with a group of friends. I can recommend everything on the menu but always find it difficult to say no to the French onion soup to start!

Our anniversary: best table by the window. Best food. I give the place 9.5 stars as I thought the Crémant de Bourgogne slightly off. Ambience 10/10 service excellent. Food sublime

This was my fourth or fifth visit to Ma Cuisine and, as always, the food was first class. Love the ambience and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Whether for lunch (excellent value set menu) or dinner, you will not be disappointed.

Stopped by at around 3-4pm and thankfully they were still serving lunch! Excellent value 3 course meal for £26 pp. Gorgeous mackerel, sea bream and chicken. Raspberry dessert was nice. Drinks a bit expensive which adds to the bill but will return soon as the food quality is amazing.

We found this place last year while driving through Kew and went back today for lunch - it was as good as we remembered. Great location and the restaurant has an authentic French feel. Good selection on the menu, although it would be nice to...
