The best restaurants serving French food in Marylebone High Street City of London, Westminster London

I stopped in for dinner, yes they were busy but it was early on a Saturday night. I agreed to be seated at the bar.. well, talk about feeling like I was an inconvenience to them! The vibe was super snooty- finished my glass of wine, bottle of water and olives.. decided not to waste their time with my dinner order- there are plenty of great places in Marleybone. Paid my £27 tab and left...not all experiences are good ones: I will never go back and I travel to London frequently for business.. never judge a book by it's cover, Clarette!!

Good food I just feel that this particular Côte needs some tlc with the jnterior

Fantastic evening at 2850 by night. The manager, Raymond, made us feel very welcome right from the start. Service was a bit slow but they were understaffed and we weren't in any hurry. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the food was excellent and reasonably priced for a venue with live music. When I dropped my knife and then my napkin a new one was immediately provided. The music was as relaxed swing. My son's girlfriend just fancied a fresh orange and sugar for dessert and this was provided and the highlight for her as a Spanish jazz singer songwriter was singing live at the end of the evening on the stage. Topped off a wonderful evening and we will return.

Once again, food and service are top notch at Orrery. Special mention to Matthieu for the personalised service and Julio for his expert choice in food/wine pairing.

So many places to shop such a fun time

The last day of Galvin Bistrot de Luxe. It closes tonight - the 10th February. All the staff are moving to the Atheneum, but it is very sad to lose such a great venue

What happened to good coffee standards at Paul’s??? Everything is dirty and disgusting. Milk jugs are not being cleaned and you get sour tasting milk in your cappuccino. Staff wants to tell me I an the only one complaining??? REALLY!!! I’ve been going to this branch for the past 8yrs and you had some fantastic people working there but what's happening there now is terrible!!

Realmente decepcionante - reservamos este lugar por recomendación de un amigo, pero no era bueno. La comida estaba bien, no era brillante y parte del servicio era bueno (encantador camarero italiano joven que nos mostró a nuestra mesa, pero bastante hosco camarero principal) . Pero nuestra principal queja es lo incómodo que es el restaurante. Los asientos de la banqueta y las sillas son súper estrechos y las mesas son minúsculas y aplastadas junto a las otras mesas. Debido a que todo viene en platos separados, apenas hay espacio en la mesa para todos los platos. Movimos nuestro refrigerador de vino a la mesa de al lado que estaba afortunadamente vacía, pero logramos derramar una copa entera de vino sobre la banqueta al tratar de pasar platos entre sí. La habitación es cavernosa y se siente como si estuvieran tratando de apretar a tantas personas como sea posible. La iluminación era sombría y había muy poco ambiente. Qué lástima que haya escuchado cosas buenas, pero definitivamente no volveremos.

No recent reviews for this place, but have they heard of bleach and limescale remover for the rest rooms? Went for lunch and the food was well below parr. Prices too high and portions meagre. Avoid. The waiter brought me a starter that I hadn't ordered, then replaced it 10 mins later with a borderline inedible salty soup. My husband had already finished his starter. When the main courses arrived, they were both too salty as well. Was the chef angry or just incompetent? They gave us 50% off the bill. All I wanted was a decent lunch and a clean toilet. Not much to ask. It Spoiled my day.

The famous steak and chips were enjoyable but it was the steak sauce stood out. It's nice to know you can have more than a plate's worth, which might contribute to the hype. Surprisingly, the walnut salad starter and classic creme bulee were highlights, despite the steak being the main. Buzzing atmosphere with a classic decour which is nice.
