Just the most splendid place, caring and thoughtful staff, great music, the best atmosphere. Can't recommend highly enough!

The last day of Galvin Bistrot de Luxe. It closes tonight - the 10th February. All the staff are moving to the Atheneum, but it is very sad to lose such a great venue

A pretty big Paul with lots of space. You generally can't go wrong when choosing Paul. Friendly staff, clean restaurant and of course delicious food and good coffee.

We had just gotten married at Marylebone Town Hall and walked to the venue for dinner. There were 7 of us, and we were seated in a semi-private dining area, which I hadn’t even requested—but it turned out to be absolutely perfect. The entire team went above and beyond to make everything flawless. From thoughtfully providing water for my bouquet to offering alcohol-free drink options and every little detail in between, they truly made it a magical evening. The relaxed atmosphere, outstanding food, and exceptional attention to detail created a night we’ll never forget. If you’re looking for an unforgettable and enchanting dining experience, this is the place to go!

We are have two Galleries in St.James’s and use Maison Francois for business lunches and dinners. The food is superlative and all the serving staff are most helpful and polite. However we find the front desk staff very off hand and quite frankly arrogant. We are the clients and need to be welcomed to your wonderful restaurant.

What an experience and I can understand why so many people love eating here No frills you get what you are given and the place has a calm buzz The starter is lettuce with an excellent dressing and bread . The one choice you have is how your steak is cooked The steak is delicious with proper fries with a sauce which takes it to a different level . Once you’ve eaten that you are served another whole portion It won’t be for everyone but we loved it

No recent reviews for this place, but have they heard of bleach and limescale remover for the rest rooms? Went for lunch and the food was well below parr. Prices too high and portions meagre. Avoid. The waiter brought me a starter that I hadn't ordered, then replaced it 10 mins later with a borderline inedible salty soup. My husband had already finished his starter. When the main courses arrived, they were both too salty as well. Was the chef angry or just incompetent? They gave us 50% off the bill. All I wanted was a decent lunch and a clean toilet. Not much to ask. It Spoiled my day.

Used to be good. Now it’s a must avoid. 40 minute wait for starters, we ordered cold smoked salmon and a soup so not exactly difficult. After this, another 30 mins wait for mains. The sea bass was average at best with an undercooked center. The rigatoni was frankly disgusting and I didn’t eat it. The only upside was the waiter we had who was genuinely polite and sympathetic.

Excellent range of perfectly served cheeses! The cafe bar had a great menu with a nice cheese platter and wine list. Highly recommended!
