Pastries were average, if overpriced; the decor is very nicely done and welcoming; the real disappointment, however, is that everything is served in takeaway bags and cups even if you’re paying the overpriced cost to stay in - not only is it unpleasant to have coffee in takeaway cups while sitting inside, but they are adding to the huge wasteful throwaway culture with enormous daily unrecyclable waste; this is simply because it is cheaper to use throwaway cups rather than wash proper cups - frankly unacceptable attitude.

We visited Cote Hays Galleria on Sat 23rd Nov for Breakfast after our friend's recommendation and I must say, am glad we did go because it was a lovely experience. We were greeted by welcoming staff and was seated very promptly. Our friendly waiter, Scott was very attentative and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. We had the Eggs Benedict from Cote Breakfast Complete menu which was delicious and came with coffee and juice which was a bonus! Overall a fantastic experience and we would recommend everyone to come here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I know we'll be back again soon!

We tried several of the Signature cocktails and they were incredible— some sweet, some savory. David is a genius mixologist! Highly recommended the ‘Total Waste’ and the ‘Tomatoni’. Staff were very attentive and the bar has a chill atmosphere.

At the suggestion of one of our party of four (plus baby) who had recently been to Aubaine in Selfridges we went to this Hampstead restaurant for breakfast on a cold but clear Saturday morning in early October. After having walked from Euston station into Hampstead we were ready for a good breakfast. Walked in off the street not having made a reservation where we were seated downstairs directly under the stairs (we had a child & buggy) and after looking at the menu and wishing we’d gone next door to Cote Brasserie we gave our orders to the waitress. Scrambled egg and salmon £8.00 (came with 1 piece of cold rock hard toasted bread with no butter or spread offered-maybe that’s the French way? two cherry tomatoes and curly kale), pot of tea £2.95, 2x formule sante £12.00 each (poached egg with avocado on seeded toast) one with fresh orange juice, one with a pot of tea, one pain au raisin £2.50 and one bottle of evian water (750ml) £4.00. We asked that one of the poached eggs be well done and when the food arrived the waitress said she couldn’t remember which was which but she could go back to the kitchen and ask but we declined this offer thinking we’d soon learn ourselves, well we did as they were both well done with one being more well done than the other making it more hard boiled than poached and did I mention my rock hard toast? All looked good (see my photo’s) and to be fair the scrambled egg , salmon and curly kale were fine but the rest was a poor do. Tea was nice as was the orange juice but you can‘t really mess that up. The total bill was £41.45 plus the norm (for Hampstead at any rate) service charge of 12.5% adding another £5.18 giving us a grand total of £46.63 for what was essentially three plates of egg, a bun and a couple of drinks. I had been thinking of trying this place for lunch or dinner but this experience of breakfast has put me off. I'm being generous with my overall rating of a three because it really falls between two and three.

Do not bother yourself standing in the queue cause it will take you forever to find a table. The service is below zero, i did not like how the waitress treated us. She said she’ll find us a table and then pretended like she didn’t see us. Left the place immediately
