Cafe Rouge - Hays Galleria in Southwark

We both chose the beef cheeks main course with side of truffled cauliflower & it was absolutely delicious!!! We were seated upstairs where the waitress, Danielle, known as Dee, was so lovely, happy & attentive yet she left us alone to chat without pressurising us to order. We always meet at this Côte as it never disappoints & we even sat outside after our meal to have a coffee in the autumn sunshine. Highly recommend.

Honestly loved everything about this place. Food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing the staff were all very kind, I definitely recommend. If you are looking to dine at a restaurant near london bridge definitely go to Côte hay's galleria

Good service and good attention from Mr. Juan

Came by for dinner and was very pleased by the service of their service staff! The lady manning the queue was very friendly, ushered us to a table on the outside for a drink while we waited for a table to be available as we didn’t make a reservation. Got a bottle of wine to share there as we enjoyed the view of the HMS Belfast and Tower Bridge in the full moon 🌕 🦆 duck confit was a decent dish, the orange slices was a good touch to cleanse the palate 👍🏻 🥘 the stew was a wrong order actually, as we didn’t take the mussels, but still went with it as we were contemplating between this and another anyways - and it turned out good since was a seafood broth with good umami. Scallops were a little salty if you have it without the sauce, while the crab Maison was a great cold dish to be had 👍🏻 The manager also offered us a free dessert as she keyed the wrong order, and was a decent giant macaron although we were too full to finish it. Great overall experience and definitely one to enjoy with the views!

We booked at last minute for a birthday celebration lunch, so pleased we did. The 2 complimentary glasses of Cremant was such a nice touch and made us feel special. The food was amazing, portion size just right so that we could manage 3 courses. The staff were friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit a great way to start a celebration weekend.

Such an amazing restaurant . The staff look after us so well . The food is amazing . For dining in London even the prices are good . Our server Charlie looked after us from start to finish in such an amazing way . We never rush when we eat out and even though the restaurant was busy we were not rushed , a thing we do like .

Ordered poached eggs and toast, received over cooked eggs and untoasted bread. Along with slow service, it's an experience not to be repeated.

It's like being in a Paris Brasserie. Food is top notch and service is spot on.

We were on a first date and We were left waiting for 20 minutes for drinks which we needed desperately and made clear when e arrived..... We ordered starters Camembert and also the bread and butters together to break the ice.....bread turned up before drinks and 20 minutes before the camembert. It was so so awkward and we were so uneasy about when the main course would come we went somewhere else. We had to ask for our drinks twice.... And both times after food had been served. Very upset

With a view of HMS Belfast while passing Tower Bridge, this is the perfect spot for brunch along the banks of the River Thames. On a clear London morning with blue skies and a refreshing breeze, ‘any English breakfast’ would taste delightful. Especially with a warm cup of coffee and a fresh glass of juice, the breakfast menu at “Côte Hay's Galleria” makes for a pleasant and memorable London experience.

I love the location and service! However, the breakfast needs work, I ordered two egg royale which was extremely salty and hollandaise thick almost like a paste (it wouldn’t meet anyone’s expectations I bet). Fresh orange juice is something that would elevate the breakfast too. Thanks to our waitress on Saturday outside.

We hopped off a bus tour and searched for a restaurant as we were starving. We decided to try French cuisine at Cote. I tried the cheese soufflés for starter and beef bourguignon for main. Both were really good. The bourguignon was perfectly cooked and was very tasty and tender. The desert was Ok, not sure which one it was. Got it in the photos. Generally very happy with the experience.

Friendly greet upon arrival and shown straight to table. As a party of four we were able to book easily for our celebrations. Food was excellent and all dishes arrived in good time. Sorry no photos to post, but take my word for it... great!!!

Me and my partner went here for our anniversary and were greeted with a warm welcome and a complimentary glass of Prosecco. The staff were so accommodating when we asked to move seats as there was a little draft and they swapped us to another lovely table. Food was exceptional. Will definitely be back.

My partner and I enjoyed an evening meal here on Monday. I had the Breton stew which was delicious. My partner had sirloin steak. It was fine but not the best quality of meat and for £25/£26 you would expect better. We both enjoyed our desserts and drinks. We wanted to pay with cash however were told that we couldn't. I found that irritating and if it's the case that an establishment doesn't accept cash they should tell you on arrival so you have the option of whether to stay or leave. We love Cote Brasserie but don't believe in a cashless society so we will think hard about whether we dine again. Money is money and we should have freedoms to pay with cash if we wish. The 2* is representative of this policy, more so than the individual restaurant itself.

Food was nice, but what stood out was the service for us. Gosia served us and we found her to be super polite, attentive and just really efficient, despite the restaurant being busy. She made our meal experience really lovely. Will be back. Thank you.

I’ve taken my family to Côte on their first visit to London from Italy as i was sure it wouldn’t disappoint! Everyone was amazed by the attentive service and the quality of food! We decided to get desserts as well as everything was just perfect!

The team were lovely and generously gave us a complimentary drink to toast my father’s birthday. The prix fixe was great value and very tasty. Our waiter Mira was very attentive. The booth we sat in was beautiful and the decor of the restaurant is stunning.

Top food, try their cheeck beef burguignonne and you will never ever leave them anymore! In this lication specifically, I needed to rate the nice lady at the service, I waited for this place coming up to my Google review list, and now that it finally showed, I forgot the name of the lady from East Europe countries, really nice!

Restaurant with a good menu selection. Food tasted good. I had steak but I missed the sauce. Cocktails were delicious. The dessert was also good. 4 stars, 1 star deduction because it's not quite perfect. 4.5 points. Price performance in the range of what is usual in London. We paid a good 130 pounds for 2 people with starter, main course, dessert & 4 cocktails. I am very critical when it comes to food, but I can definitely recommend the restaurant.

Everything was very correct in terms of quality and price, including the dessert. What is not acceptable is that you can book because the computer system allows it and your reservation is canceled without any explanation. Then the explanations were not correct and in the survey they sent me I wrote my criticisms.

Quiet evening as a couple, walk along the Thames, photo of London Bridge. We stop attracted by the outside, through the windows, by the look of the place inside. Elegant and refined, warm and welcoming. Greeted with extreme courtesy, we sit at the table and study the menu. We choose what will turn out to be a wonderful slow-cooked braised meat immersed in a fantastic sauce with mushrooms and vegetables accompanied by a practically perfect puree. Impeccable service, a note of merit for the always sincerely smiling staff. Excellent choice of desserts and liqueurs. Fair price, perhaps a little low in relation to what was received. Very recommended

Great place genuinely friendly people and not overpriced

Terrible service- much worse than at other Côtes. I literally had to waggle my menu at the waiter, who was deeply engaged in conversation with another waiter at my table, to get served- this after several minutes of trying to catch anyone's eye! On top of that, my baguette wasn't warm, as I have been served at other Côtes, and my chips were so tough I couldn't finish them. I debated paying the service charge at the end, but did so, in the interests of expediency- I was in a hurry. Doubt I'll be back here

The staff was great and happy to accommodate a change of tables without any fuss. The food was great as always. This is my 5th visit to the restaurant.

I visited this lovely restaurant recently! The chicken and the accompanying sauce was absolutely tasty, and our waiter Barry was super friendly, which made the experience even better. Plus, the prices were quite reasonable. I shall be returning

Beef cheek bourguignon was absolutely a 10/10, would order again. The French onion soup is the best I have ever tasted. Service was over the top and this place deserves 5 starts all day, if not 5 stars how about at least a 1 star Michelin! Fantastic

Was at a dinner organised by some Colleagues. Like any other Côte. Broad menu didn’t disappoint. But did not wow either. It was okay. The location and view is great. The atmosphere nice and abuzz. The service okay … staff were more interested in upselling/kept pouring drinks to empty the bottles then ask if another bottle is desired… I don’t think I would choose to go there for dinner.

My friend and I visited Côte (Hays Galleria) for its stunning location and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely team and delicious food. Charlie served us on two different days, and she was absolutely wonderful. She made excellent recommendations, was quick to assist us, and even remembered us—and our previous orders—from a couple of days earlier! The food and drinks great, though it occasionally took a little while to arrive (and the food came quicker than the drinks). However, with such a fantastic atmosphere, that wasn't a big deal at all. Thanks côte for a lovely lazy sunday brunch!

Great setting on the terrace outside by the Thames. Lovely service. Really good value. We were very pleased to still be able to get a bottle of wine for £23 in a central London restaurant.

4 stars just for being a French bistro in London. Decent wines to suit the place and excellent food…beef bourginone and duck L’orange gets extra star. Also walking distance from ShangriLa if staying here.

JKwom and John were extremely attentive and thoughtful throughout our time here. Made us all feel welcome, I was particularly impressed with how they accommodated for allergens and helped us with charging our phones as we were worried about getting around London with poor charge left on them. The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent. Really can’t fault a thing, can’t wait to come back

I don’t like giving bad reviews, however, I believe in giving honest reviews. The food was very good and the prices seemed reasonable. For lunch I had the Crab Maison and my friend had the French Onion soup. However, the staff were cold and didn’t seem interested in having us dine there at all. In fact, I have never experienced staff like this before in my life beginning from the woman who sat us at our table to the person who took our order. We even had to ask someone who was clearing tables if someone was going to give us our bill because no one ever returned to inquire if we wanted anything else or to give us our bill. And this person was cold and uninterested as well. We kept wondering if somehow we had offended them in some way. We are Americans who were not loud, very polite, and excited to dine in this restaurant. I wish I were the owner, because I would fire these 3 people with no second thoughts. Very disturbing…

Waitress seemed bored and food was a little on cold side. Very average all round.

This was a waste of money and a night of our vacation. The waiters barely spoke to us and came to our table maybe twice the entire night - when we would try to get more water or order extra items they would walk away while we were still speaking. Food was average at best - definitely not worth the price point. After the food was dropped off at our table no one came back to the table for 45 minutes. At the end of the night my partner asked to take home his leftovers and the host tried to tell him that isn't allowed - seriously? Do not recommend this place at all. Super disappointed and with a high service fee added to the bill, it would have been great to have even an ounce of customer service.

I met with friends who I haven’t seen for ages. We chose the prix fixe menu this time. Served by a very attentive waitress who was very pleasant and gave us plenty of time to choose. We sat for 1,30 until gone 5 o’clock. They continue to serve us water until long after we finished our meals. No rush or push to clear the table My friend liked it so much he’s booked to go back today. All the food was good. We all enjoyed ourselves

Very enjoyable lunch at this beautifully appointed restaurant. We choose an indoor seat in this stunning place. The lunch menu was excellent and we picked the two course specials that were very reasonably priced. Service was very pleasant and professional and the food was first class. Am definitely putting this restaurant chain on the list with numerous locations scattered throughout London to now explore!

Enjoyed our breakfast however the ambience outdoors wasn't great. We were sat next to the place where dirty plates were dumped and it seemed like staff were either really peeved or doing their best to create as much noise as possible.

I always enjoy French food but côté would always be my first choice, the Hay’s Galleria in London is my favourite the view and the staff is amazing here, Juan find me a table very quick without any reservations, I will def come back here and enjoy the food and nice spritz

I made a booking for my best friend's birthday and we had a splendid time, the service was excellent - everyone was warm and attentive - we really felt looked after. It took a bit long to receive food but the team was highly responsive to our needs/requests (and made sure we were compensated), the atmosphere was great so we enjoyed our time thoroughly. The team made it special from the start, with a complimentary drink, candle on the dessert and birthday greetings. Gorgeous food and location, it was a right treat, my friend had a fabulous time on her birthday!

Fantastic restaurant with fabulous food. Their set menu is very good value and the staff very attentive. Would like to thank Juan Miki for looking after us so well and making our lunchtime a time to remember. Would certainly recommend Cote at London Bridge to friends and family for a great time out.

I wish they hire polite and kind waiters to greet and seat the restaurant visitors especially if they were elderly as we had a rude behavior from a blond waiter in the area outside by the river but the manger was kind enough to rectify the problem

I always love cote restaurants, the food is amazing, the location is perfect and the staff are super nice, but what really upset me was this waiter who was really rude for no obvious reason. The manager was so considerate and Kind. I understand the pressure they work under when they’re busy but the place was fairly occupied. Please remember that A smile worths thousand words.

The atmosphere here adds extra points. The steak was 7/10 and excellent dessert 9/10. The service initially took a bit of time but friendly, and food arrived quickly. Great for a sunny afternoon.

We ordered the menu and the food was very good, the service was excellent and Juan and Miki treated us great. Besides, the terrace is very pleasant.

A friend and I sat outside, we had wanted to sit upstairs in the restaurant but we were told it was closed for now. Overall the place is beautiful. The staff are attentive to your needs and amended our orders to accommodate my friend's food allergies. I had 2 starters as I thought the main course maybe too much. The calamari was crispy not too dry and the warm tomato salad was nicer than I expected. Both starters were just the right potion for me. My only frustration is the music was too loud and after a while we found we needed to leave due sensory overload.

I love a Cotê the food is always consistently good and feels like great value for money. This one is no exception. It's busy because of its location so booking is wise but it's a great venue. Since the last time we went they have improved the menu and also the children's menu which is basically a grown up menu with smaller portions (I can't think of another children's menu where you can get a steak frites!) It's definitely worth a visit and we come back again and again.

Excellent location by the Thames. Went for sea bass and the pork belly. Decent portion and expected price for this area. Service was good too.

We were given a very friendly welcome and an excellent table outside overlooking the Thames. Our waitress was extremely helpful and attentive. In addition the food was excellent.

Professional customer service and great food!

Don't let the fact that this is a chain put you off. The food is consistently good, excellent value for money when you go for the set menu, attentive but non-intrusive staff, clean toilets. It's usually quite busy even on weekdays so I'd recommend booking in advance.

The ambience of the place was simply fantastic. The service was amazing, especially by our server Beaula who was very pleasant and accommodating. The food was out of this world. I thoroughly enjoyed my rib eye steak! Couldn't recommend this place enough!

My son Mike treated our family to a meal at cote Hay's Galleria on Sat July 27th at 6pm. Most I wanted to say is above , it really was 5 star all round. Thanks to the Manager & all the staff. My wife & I were down from Manchester for a few days we both really enjoyed it. Thanks again.
