This has to be one of the best Fish and Chip shops in the area. Coming from the midlands where fish and chips can be part of a stable diet, I have always been disappointed in Suffolk with the quality and especially the quantity of the serving from many chips shops here. However this chip shop gives me both a tasty meal and deliveres a good portion. The young lady behind the counter is brilliant at holding a busy restrurant together, always polite to the staff and instructions are clear with a thank you. The meal it's self is not greasy, nicely cooked and presented.

The staff were all really well trained and professional in accommodating everyone and making people feel comfortable. I was so impressed by how kind and understanding they were! I could tell their manager really paid attention to training each staff. The food was lovely, some of the best salmon dish I've ever had. The ambience was perfect as well.

This beautiful place accommodated us at the last minute when we were forced to walk out of the hotel opposite (The Lion) because of inedible food. The George fitted us in and we enjoyed the most gorgeous Sunday lunch. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. It's definitely somewhere I will return to. Exceptional food, ambiance, staff. 100 💯 review, thankyou so much

Another absolutely fabulous dinner in the private dining room, this time for a company Christmas dinner for 13 people. The food was exquisite and Juliette and her team who looked after us, were fantastic. We opted for a couple of additional courses (the famous sherry mousse, rice cracker & salmon roe …..and then a cheese course), both of which went down really well! Thank you to everyone at Benedict’s who continue to serve the best fine dining food in Norwich! Happy Christmas - we will be back soon x

We come here for our Christmas lunch every year which for us is the start of Christmas! It never fails as the food is always great and the service is second to none our waiter Florin was superb. The atmosphere is always great and we love it. Steaks cooked to perfection!

Went last night with small group of friends for our Christmas get together. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. We spent well over £500, which included a hefty percentage for service and then were told it's not their practice to give a complimentary drink, mint or chocolate at the end of a meal. How churlish and what poor customer service @cote

We have eaten at Cote St Albans many times and found it excellent. We visited on 2nd January for lunch and it was very mediocre, food quality poor and details like linen napkins now replaced with low grade paper. We dropped in again on the 4th for coffee and it was partly closed off and clearly in deep trouble. No croissants, no pastries, unhappy staff; they are clearly struggling.

My husband and I are what others would call fussy and we are happy to be labelled that because if those who call eating natural organic, homemade, homegrown food fussy, then we pity them, as they have no idea what real food is. We are also vegetarian and pecetarian and rarely eat out, so, we were pleasantly surprised that the food was excellent with plenty of vegetarian choices and plenty of side dishes. Although the food is not organic, they did have an excellent very reasonably priced organic wine and some raw unpasturised cheeses which you rarely find in other restaurants. However, the highlight of the evening was the service by Michaela. She was very knowledgeable about the food and recommended some stunning dishes and additions to our meal. Her knowledge on food and wines is excellent and she shared some very interesting information about food origin and cheese making that we found fascinating. Nothing was too much for Michaela. She never rushed us or made us feel like a number. We felt valued customers and will definitely return next time we visit Cambridge.

As we were only staying for the weekend we decided to make the most of the Monday and do some activities and then have lunch before we left. We usually have evening meals at Cafe Rouge but opted for a lunchtime meal. We had meals both from the lighter lunch and a la carte menus and they were very good. The Camembert starter was enjoyed dipping some fries in. My father in law will often have the beouf bourguignon and picked this for lunch. He really enjoyed it. It was just a shame not to be able to enjoy the extensive wine list but we were driving. The service is always friendly and professional and we were pleased to be served by Rachel again who is a firm favourite. We will be returning in June and will definitely eat there again

Nice to spot planes and helicopters with the kids. Lovely atmosphere, very family friendly. Coffee is okay Did take 45+ minutes to bring lunch out though
