The best restaurants serving Fish chips food in England

This place was recommended by our local tour guide who grew up in Bath. We were seated on the second floor on an outside deck/balcony. I enjoyed sitting out there, it was a little cool so they turned on the heater for us. It seemed like a fun place to eat. I had the deep fried sole, not a big fan of it. It seemed a little mushy.

Second time we have been here for takeaway. Fish and batter nice chips nice. Crisp and not greasy. Salad very large and nice. Not too expensive either. Would recommend

Large Fish and chips, curry sauce and mushy peas. Excellent value for money. Big white flakes of perfectly cooked fish. We ate in - good service. Recommend.

This is *usually* my favourite fish and chip shop in ashford, we have been using them for years whenever we decide to get it. Wr heard there was new owners but hoped for the best anyway... My husband ordered a collection this evening, I'm so disappointed. The chips were so dark, dry and over cooked. All stuck together, the gyros was super dry, solid and lacked flavour. Absolutely gutted. Usually my favourite when we have it and now it's ruined my favourite treat dinner... Such a shame. Hopefully whoever the new owners are, they can try and work to the amazing quality it always has been...

This fish bar has been recently renovated and has a fresh new look. As a person who is fussy about their food - I can honestly say I have always been happy with my food here. The chips are not too dry or soggy, same with the fish and the oil is fresh, hence a good balanced flavour. I know for sure being in any kind of restaurant business, its a hard act to follow - to maintain the quality of product and keep your customers happy. I wish them all the best and hope they can keep up the good work

Service sympathique. Malheureusement le Fish & Chips n’avait pas beaucoup de goût … frites pas bonnes et sauce tartare insipide. Nous ne conseillons pas ce restaurant.

Been here many times before. Sadly this time wasn't the best. Slow service and wasn't that busy. Fish and chips where very greasy, left quite a lot of it. Also portion size seemed small for the price. Friendly staff and dog friendly.

Ordered small cod and jumbo sausage curry sauce large chips . Fish was ok ,not a lot of batter on fish Chips ordered large received small portion . £4.50 . Not good value for money Will not go back poor poor poor . Lots of staff just chatting . They should get rid of some staff and increase portions size . Then the business will get more successful ,
