Expected exceptional fish and chips from this long-established fish restaurant. Very surprised to receive soft, flabby chips obviously sat around for a while, skin on the fish and equally flabby batter. Our waiter was sweet and attentive but couldn't serve us a white wine spritzer and no decaf coffee available either. Unsurprisingly the restaurant was very empty for a Sunday lunchtime.

The portion was large, and that's the best thing about it. Otherwise both the fish and chips were BLAND, not even salt. Also as a foreigner, I was totally a 'fish out of water', and the staff were unwilling to answer any questions to help me complete my order.

Wife and I made the journey out to SeaShell thanks to a post I found on Reddit with lots of good things to say about SeaShell. SeaShell of Lisson Grove was our first experience with the real deal fish & chips since my wife and I have never really had it properly before (maybe ever?). Anyway, it was alright. Fish skin really grosses me out, so I had to pick around it. But other than that, it wasn't awful by any means, but it wasn't exactly like how Reddit described it either. The curry sauce was good though. Minna (I think that was her name) was awesome though. She was friendly and helpful with her recommendations!

Great fish and chips in a fun space with some real down-home characters serving. It was a fun experience and I went home full.

Came with colleagues for a working lunch. Food was served speedily and was very good. Oksana our host was very gracious and helpful. Will be visiting again soon.

Really good fish and chips restaurant nice for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is spotless. The staff are really friendly, in particular Minna behind the counter. The fish burger and chips were delicious would recommend.

Seems to have changed, loved going here but the staff on tills are now unfriendly and the chips were dry and over cooked. In fact, we had to throw them away. Such a shame.
