The best restaurants serving Fast food food in Highland Highlands and Islands

This Subway has always been great; extremely friendly customer service, great food (sandwiches at other Subway’s are usually a bit burnt) and just an overall friendly Subway. However, since last year, this Subway has been closed; every time we walk by it is always empty, as in lights never on, same drinks left in fridge ect. You know it’s been closed a while when you see COVID guidelines telling you to wear a mask and that it’s mandatory; as well as other posters and such laying all over the floor. When searched on Google, it says “Temporarily closed”, however, it’s been well over a year at this point and it shows no signs of re-opening. We know some of the people who uses to work there and they just said that it’s “closed”. It’s a shame; the Subway should be sold if they don’t want to maintain or open it. Here’s to hoping that we ever see Subway Aviemore open again — I’m hoping 🤞

My husband and I ate here 2 days in a row! We had burgers! I definitely recommend the Full Monty! It was the best burger I’ve eaten in a while! Our host was warm and friendly!

Brilliant find! Stopped at the falls for a cuppa & some home made fudge one day & hubby spotted Blaggis fries with peppercorn sauce, so made a return visit on way back from Elgol. Seriously blooming magic!

Not only do you get a magnificent view, you get good tasty food freshly prepared. We had soft brioche bun bacon rolls with perfectly crisped bacon, a cheese toastie, coffee and tea and all were top notch!

We have takeaway regularly and the food is always exceptional. So reasonably priced for top quality! We had a large family gathering and ordered munchie boxes and children’s meals. Completely exceeded our expectations. Everyone really enjoyed and commented on the quality and freshness of the food. Cannot recommend highly enough! Would not hesitate to order again! The best thing to have ever happened to the Kinlochleven area. This fabulous Chinese takeaway replaced the dreadful fish and chip shop on the site. The food is unbelievable, portion sizes will ensure you have more than enough, fantastic staff and I can't truly express how helpful they are. People are traveling from the much wider area to come to this gem and I can only say that I totally understand as it's the best Chinese takeaway I have ever been to.

Rude staff and well overpriced, even for a bar of chocolate. I did complain to a member of staff but unfortunately she didn’t appear to be too bothered by this.

Het gebouw zag er van buitenaf uit alsof het gesloten was, maar toen we dichterbij kwamen zagen we toch licht branden. En gelukkig zijn we naar binnen gegaan! We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen en hebben heerlijke burgers gegeten. We kozen voor een visburger en een burger met kip en bacon. Allebei super lekker! En de frietjes die je erbij krijgt zijn ook heerlijk en vers. Er stond een leuk muziekje aan en de ruimte was mooi ingericht. Vanbinnen is het dus een stuk gezelliger dan de buitenkant zou verwachten. Het restaurant heeft geen alcohol licentie, maar als je toch een biertje of wijntje wil drinken, dan kan je deze bij de supermarkt tegenover kopen en meenemen naar het restaurant. Echt een aanrader! We hebben hier een super vriendelijk ontvangst gekregen en de lekkerste burgers gegeten van onze hele reis door Schotland!

Unfortunately the fish tonight was far from good - very dry and an odd flavor. Curly fries were ok but could have been cooked a bit more. Staff all very pleasant and friendly as always.

Got kiddies fish bites and chips,and red pudding and chips. Chips looked and tasted like they were warmed up from yesterday,red pudding tasted better than it looked,but the fish bites were lovely plenty of fish in them. Expensive for what we got. 3 out of 10

Went twice on a recent trip. Fish was fresh, cooked to order, and cooked well, chips were crispy. Decent portion size. Restaurant was clean, great place to grab a quick bite.
