Grantown Diner & Takeaway in Highland

My husband and I ate here 2 days in a row! We had burgers! I definitely recommend the Full Monty! It was the best burger I’ve eaten in a while! Our host was warm and friendly!

The diner is small and we were surprised at how the large menu was but the food was simply amazing! Burger made with local beef was the best I’ve had in a long time. Paired with the Cajun slaw and perfectly cooked chips made for a large meal. Not only recommend but will make a point to come back next time we are in the area.

We decided to go out for breakfast and found the diner open. We were not disappointed. Lovely fresh food, quality ingredients and great value. Friendly service.

Not your usual ‘Diner’. Excellent selection, generous portions, very reasonable cost. You can sit in or take away. Good friendly service. I chose the spicy tacos. This came with meat, salsa, sour cream and guacamole. I got the ‘small’ box to go. It was full and more than filling. I would have struggled with the ‘large’, possibly suitable for two. Definitely worth a visit for a dinner time take away.

Outstanding food. Well made. Fresh and hot. Very quick service. Only a half hour wait for a very large order. I turned up early and it was all still being freshly made.

Loved this place! Great food, fantastic prices, great vibe! When I google searched "Best Places to Eat in Grantown" this place didn't come up, so we are so glad we stumbled across it when the "top" place from the list was overly booked. Would certainly recommend the Grantown Diner, thoroughly enjoyed our food and was particularly pleased with there being a good few options for vegetarians. Only draw back was the ventilation system was a bit poor, we were left strong cooking smells stuck to our clothes/hair after our visit, easily washable though might put the next person off.

Amazing value and great food. I ordered a veggie burger and was surprised and delighted to find that it came with a lovely freshly prepared salad and piles of newly fried and crispy chips. Really appreciated the friendliness and great service. Dining on your own can often be a miserable experience. Thank you.

We checked the reviews on here for Grantown Diner and so many people have written a great review so we decided to order a carry out meal. We ordered a chicken and a meat kebab. The staff were very friendly and the diner was clean and busy. Lots of tasty filling in the kebabs, plenty of salad and sauce. They were very tasty indeed. We agree with the positive reviews and we’d definitely go back.

Excellent speedy and friendly service with food at a surprisingly good price. Everyone loved their food today from pancakes to breakfast roll and burgers. The pancakes with maple syrup and bacon were a big hit.

Brilliant place. Food is freshly made. Staff is very friendly. Place is dog friendly. Plenty street parking in front. Place is wheelchair accessible but toilet access might be bit tight. We had vegetarian spinach and falafel burger which was pretty good. It came with crispy chips, delicious coleslaw and fresh salad. Absolutely recommended. Spouse had a pepperoni pizza which was doused with cheese. Super awesome. Only downside is the steel top tables; easy to clean but very chilling on your hands.

We visit this diner often, good prices. Lovely food. Loads of selection, Recommend to go on a quieter night as some nights can be busy
