Visited this iconic Fish & Chips restaurant located in Blackpool Tower and sampled their Afternoon Tea with a chippy twist. Their version has a mix of mini fish burgers, fishcakes, battered sausages, panko crusted gherkins with mushy peas + curry sauce, onion rings, chips, banana fritters with biscoff sauce and bread & butter pudding. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of savoury and sweet options which had a nice balance of flavours, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked plus good portion sizes. Cosy ambiance, hearty food and accomodating staff (our server Tom was very attentive), overall a great experience. Harry Ramsden’s has been serving up World Famous Fish & Chips for over 90 years (since 1928) so we can only expect the best from them. They have been dishing it up at fab locations across the country including their 420-seater restaurant in Bournemouth which is one of the largest in the world.

I had an amazing experience at this fast food restaurant! The food was delicious, fresh, and served quickly. The menu offers a great variety of options to satisfy every craving. Normally is spot on but went in late around 11 and ordered the masala fish and some southern fried chicken. Both items were overcooked , normally for 3piece chicken with chips is around 4.80 but had only the chicken and got charged 5.10( must have been trying to round it off so can calculate the change properly ) , fish was dry and stale . They close at 1 and I don’t know why tasted like 3 days old food with getting ripped off. I will still be going as the place is normally bang on but very disappointed with the staff member and quality of the food.

Overall the food was cold, dry and tasteless especially the peritowarp. We couldn’t eat the wrap as it was all soggy and no taste, even the chips were overcooked and just dry, no sauces were sent!. Really disappointed with the food the food and service, would never order from this place again.

I won't go again the 2 guy was at the services are so rude.. I asked one of them to put 2 kind of sauce he asked me rudely which one tell me one

Do not order from their website- called as our order was an hour late, to be told it was on its way - nothing! Called again just to be told that that website closed last week and they didn't have our order. Apparently the manager is going to call tomorrow to sort this out but that doesn't take away the fact we now have waited 2 hours for food for nothing! DO NOT ORDER OFF THE WEBSITE

I went to get Mini fish and chips which comes with a side and the price is £7.50, the lady wearing a cap served me and handed over my change while looking over her shoulder which seemed very disrespectful furthermore she asked me what side do I choose and i chose curry sauce and mentioned to add some salt and vinegar please, when i got halfway home i realised there’s no curry sauce and theres no salt and vinegar added to it. I am disappointed with her dealing with customers. It was my first and last time going there .

Best Chip shop in Leicester. Friendly staff, clean and the food is always fresh.

10/10 as always, chicken is clean and well cooked. Burgers are very nice, prices are very fair for what you get. Lakers is definitely in top 5 chicken and chips spots in Ilford.
