Visited this iconic Fish & Chips restaurant located in Blackpool Tower and sampled their Afternoon Tea with a chippy twist. Their version has a mix of mini fish burgers, fishcakes, battered sausages, panko crusted gherkins with mushy peas + curry sauce, onion rings, chips, banana fritters with biscoff sauce and bread & butter pudding. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of savoury and sweet options which had a nice balance of flavours, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked plus good portion sizes. Cosy ambiance, hearty food and accomodating staff (our server Tom was very attentive), overall a great experience. Harry Ramsden’s has been serving up World Famous Fish & Chips for over 90 years (since 1928) so we can only expect the best from them. They have been dishing it up at fab locations across the country including their 420-seater restaurant in Bournemouth which is one of the largest in the world.

Me and my husband had fish and chips it’s the best fish and chips he has ever had he is a fussy eater staff amazing served by staff member Debbie nice lady very funny pleasant girl definitely recommend this place for food worse thing is going to eat and having rude tired waiters but this place definitely was not like that everyone was happy and really nice thank you

Visited the night before our wedding and we fancied fish and chips, food was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming, would definitely recommend to all.

We were pleasantly surprised by our experience here. We moved to Blackpool over a year ago and we had avoided the place in the past because every time we walked past the front of the building (facing the prom) it looked completely empty. Of course, your instinct tells you not to eat at an empty restaurant. It always seemed strange to us because it has a very prominent position on Blackpool prom, and looks really clean and modern, so we presumed it must not be good. Yesterday we decided to come in from the rain and finally try it out. It wasn't busy, but it is mid-week and out of season for the area. The staff were really friendly and we really enjoyed the food. I had chips and gravy and my husband had the steak and kidney pie with chips. He said the pie was delicious and his only negative was that the mushy peas were bland. Overall we thought it was good value for money and a nice place to have lunch. Before we left, I asked the staff why it was so quiet and why they didn't sit anyone in the front of the restaurant where most passing trade goes by. I explained the lack of customers in the windows had put us off coming in. They explained that some drainage issues from the neighbouring Blackpool Tower had caused a lot of water to gather on their roof and cause the roof to sag, so they had to try not to sit customers here until the issue is fixed. The reason made total sense, but I think it's such a shame that it has been like this for clearly a year at least, because it really does like the restaurant is closed or quiet everytime you walk past. We'll definitely be back to enjoy lunch here again

We booked an afternoon tea from Wowcher and was very impressed with the quality of food and the service!! Tom talked us thru what was on the menu and so polite. Chanel delivered our dessert in the same friendly manner. Not somewhere I would normally choose but will return after the excellent customer service

Terrible service, there were more staff than customers yet we had to find one to place the order and when the food came part was missing. As for the food it looked like a waiter was cooking in the kitchen area and probing everything that came out of the fryer, I wish he never with my cod, it’s was very over cooked and dry, partnerships fish cake also over cooked. A lot of people look down on fish and chips, and many might raise their eyebrows at this flavourless review. But I tell you, fish and chips can be done brilliantly and it can have flavour. It doesn’t have to be all about grease. I am packing up to move back to London at the moment, but fancied a stroll along the beach for a break. So I jumped in the car for the relatively short drive from Manchester to Blackpool. It is January, so naturally most places are closed. But beneath Blackpool Tower is Harry Ramsden’s. If anyone can do fish and chips well, it must be these guys right? I ordered a small cod and chips, with a side of mushy peas. I was feeling extra peckish, so I also ordered a childhood favourite. A jumbo battered sausage. Due to driving, I had a Coca Cola to wash it down. Not fine dining or bib gourmand, but a staple classic of the British seaside. The food is, as promised on the menu, cooked to order…. well, I would hope so. After an acceptable wait, my food arrived. I seasoned with the obligatory salt and vinegar. Let’s look at this experience item by item. Coca Cola. Someone needs to get onto the phone to Atlanta. I appreciate that in a business like this, your coke is going to be BIB postmix (bag in box). However, I know something about this and the settings of syrup to water ratio has been turned down. It’s something restaurants and pubs do to squeeze profit out of an already profitable item, but it leaves you with a weak and tasteless cola. Battered jumbo sausage. The batter didn’t look natural. The formation of it around the sausage (cheeky) was uniform and the same all over. It was tasteless as a batter and the sausage cocooned inside tasted of water. This was the poorest tube of meat I’ve ever had, and I enjoy a good sausage. Mushy peas. There were peas in there, and they were mushed up…. But whatever process there was in making them, probably took place in a factory 80 miles away before they were tinned up and shipped to this outlet by Bidfresh. You can make mushy peas easily! You don’t have to have tinned and microwave, especially at the price being charged here. Cod and chips. The cod was actually a nice piece of fish. Tasted good and hit the mark. You could also see the natural messy formation of the batter, though this part still had no flavour. The chops were disappointing. They are hand cut chips, whether here or in a food processing centre… but they had the consistency of over chips instead of deep fried. Have they been on hot holding too long? I don’t know, but they were a sad excuse to go with what was a nice piece of fish. Overall, maybe this is what you should expect of a Harry Ramsden at Blackpool Tower… but it could be better. Much, much better.

Amazing interior, but I had a feeling I eat from the floor due to ceramic tiles on the table. Food was not good enough for this prices. Chicken bbq burger was in real 3 nugets in barm with dry lettuce. And the same fish burger was 3 fish fingers in barm with dry lettuce. Disgusting for this price. It supose to be the best fish and chips in UK. Big mistake. Two onion rings. One was onion skin only not eatyble. I ask for small corona I received big one. Only waitress was good. Very nice and polite. I will never back there again. Trully not recomend.

Waited in a queue to get in then a lovely lady kindly said they have no availability. My husband then suggested rather than make people wait perhaps put a notice up for customers . Then very sharply and rude a gentlemen (staff) basically screamed we have no staff in front of my 6 year old son . Absolutely appalling and managers response was no staff . No apology and other customers witnessed this also

Went into Harry’s about 5.45 pm. Greeted by a lovely smiling waitress who was very nice and welcoming. Spotted us waiting, and seated us promptly. The waitress took our order, 2 fish and chips mushy peas and a big pot of tea, which was lovely, and a coke. The restaurant was half empty, but had about 25 minute wait for food. The food came, to find the fish very well done, dry, and really inedible and tepid. Told the waitress and she apologised and got a fresh fish. This was better, but I shared it with my daughter as hers was the same but didn’t like saying anything. Very poor quality of chips, think they are cooked and reheated hard sharp chip ends. For £15.99 was a disgrace. The waitress asked about the food and told her it was poor as we left fish and chips. A discount was given which was fine, she was really helpful. I would recommend to go elsewhere and save your money. We initially went in the takeaway section this was filled with dirty tables and not a single member of staff about, nor a smell of chips or a cooked piece of food in the display. This needs attention whoever is in charge.

Popped in for some traditional fish, chips and mushy peas. Obviously I was disappointed that there was no mint sauce for the mushy peas, but everything was tasty and well cooked and suited our needs. Our waiting staff was Kasia who was funny and very personable, whilst being efficient. Thank you

We arrived at the takeaway and the lady looked like she was cleaning, it was very adamant she didn’t want us in the takeaway. Kept telling us there was no seating available and to go to the restaurant.Eventually ordered and after a short while the other colleague appeared from her break. She aggressively shouted My order was ready and very rudely shouted again. I kept telling her it wasn’t my order but she was adamant it was and started listing what was in it, I replied again it’s not mine. She then huffed and puffed and shouted someone else. I found this very rude and unprofessional. We eventually got our order after a very slow service.Overall, Take away was dirty, needed a good clean and the staff need to be taught in customer service! Visited over the weekend to see the illuminations. Ordered two cod and chips which were lovely. Fresh fish was excellent! Unfortunately the kids meal was awful. Ordered a fish cake with mash and mushy peas. I wouldn't give the fish to the dog and the mash looked like it had been made last Tuesday. Will never order that again. No one asked if the food was ok and plates weren't taken away while we were they so never ended up getting the ice cream with the kids meal. Plus the hand drier in the disabled toilet goes off randomly so baby screamed whilst in there. If we go back I'd check to use the taste card first! We missed out there.

We ate here on the Tuesday during October half term. The restaurant was quite quiet although there were people coming in all the time we were there. The decor is very modern and clean. Two had cod and chips, I ordered the fish cakes. I had expected something more hand/ freshly made not some frozen fish cakes. That was a bit disappointing but they did taste nice. We thought it was a little overpriced for what we got but the food tasted nice and the weather outside was vile, so it was nice to escape it for a bit.

A famous chip shop at an iconic location, what a shame the service couldn't live up to the hype. The food is good quality but the service was slow and when there is a problem with your order (which there was) trying to attract the attention of a staff member was difficult - it was over 5 minutes before anyone even walked near us. Even the most basic greasy spoon cafe would ask, "is everything okay with your meal?" a few minutes after being served. When having asked twice where our kids desserts were the staff blamed the app we had to use to order. Very disappointing.

Oh Blackpool ! Where on earth can we get a meal on the seafront in decent surroundings? That was our dilemma one Sunday. We decided Harry Ramsden’s looked the least-worst option on the day and gave it a try. Decor is decent (even though a few lights were on the blink). I wouldn’t say staff were welcoming but they did their job. When you order on an app from your table, hospitality is always going to be a challenge. Food was pretty good though. Not the best fish & chips I’ve had (bit dry) but good. My wife had the bread and butter pudding too - actually very good. The cup of tea that came with the meal never arrived but it wasn’t much of a miss.No Michelin star but it’s clean and civilised - and on the prom’.

We visited the illuminations on Friday night, as we do every year,and of course had to have a portion of Harry Ramsden's chips - it's not a trip to the illuminations without them!The measures put in place to safely manage the covid situation are excellent! Staff remained as friendly as ever and the chips were - as always - top quality and a great portion size. The lady behind the counter was particularly friendly and made sure our family of 4 had a great big box of delicious chips. Perfect! Friends of ours came the following night (Monday), having asked for a recommendation of where to eat during the illuminations. We will be back next year, if not before.

Went to Ramsdens at the tower with my wife. She had fish, chips and peas, I had fish cake chips and peas accompanied by 2 pints of stella. I almost had a heart attach when the waitress said £31.00. WTF..... I could have gone to the chip shop at skegness and had the same of equal if not better quality and paid just over a tenner, extremely disappointed, I expected better after hearing good things. Never again not worth £31.00 at all.

Went for an evening meal whilst visiting Blackpool for the illuminations. 5 years since was last here. Restaurant looks very nice and the staff were very good. Lots of COVID restrictions and every other table in operation etc etc. Food was a bit blah though. Neither the cod or haddock we had was very big (even though we had the medium) and the chips were very bitty. Quite a lot of money for a fairly poor fish and chips from such a brand place. Doubt we will bother visiting here again and will go and find another local chippy to try.

Came in for some lunch. As i came in the only rule that was explained that i could order through the app or order at the bar (which i thought you weren't allowed to do anymore due to government restrictions) I ordered via the app. Food was hot, tasty and quickly served. As i left I asked a lady if this was the right way for the exit and pointed at a door. She said yes. As i walked that way she proceeded to shout at me that i was going the wrong way. It was a bit much, i felt quite embarrassed. Wouldve helped if at the door they wouldve told me there was a one way system

Queued to get in, weather was atrocious. We were shown to our table and every thing explained to us, i.e. wear your mask if going to loo etc. Pity not many did this!. Also children were allowed to wander about all over the place , no one asked the parents to keep them in one place. The fish and chips were nothing to write home about, I have had much better in our local Chippy. It was expensive.

Lovely looking restaurant and decor upon arrival. We were seated near the front however we noticed the table had not been cleaned properly and due to covid I thought it would have been. However we politely requested to sit elsewhere and we were moved to the back where it was clean and quiet. Enjoyed our haddock and chips, the curry sauce was really lovely too! Reasonably priced considering the Chains reputation and Would expect it to be Pricey considering its location !!! Visited monday this week. The staff were very aware of covid-19 requirements and dealt with customers very well. The tables were cleaned after each set of customers and the place was spotless. Serving staff managed well and my wife and I felt safe and looked after during our visit. Thank you and well done. By the way the food was excellent too!

Called on Thursday evening after going through the lights they are overpriced £10 for a portion of fish and chips that were cold tasteless rubbery and ended throwing them in the bin

Took my young son today for a seaside food experience. I ordered fish and chips. My fish was rubbery and lacked taste. There was 4 sachets of tomato ketchup on the plate next to my fish, 4 sachets of salt and a mayonnaise, the chips were cold. My son had a child’s burger and chips. The burger was chewy and twice my 2 year old started coughing as the food was hard to swallow. I tasted the burger and it lacked taste. It cost £19.99 which I think is very expensive for cheap food. I won’t be going back!!

We have been to many Harry Ramsden’s and awarded 5* for each one! We were really looking forward to another outstanding meal but were so disappointed. 1) We had a long wait after ordering but it was not full 2) We were not asked how the food was3) Mushy pease were not hot so had to be replaced. 4) Cod and chips tasted no better than an ordinary fish and chip shop but costs more!5) Bread & Butter pudding was undercooked.

Had a really nice meal in here with my partner and daughter, staff were lovely and helpful and kept my daughter entertained aswell. Both had lovely fish suppers and theres is something different about those chips I could easily have had more as they were amazing . The reason i dropped a star is because my fish wasnt as big as my partners apart from that we will be sure to visit again.

Our treat when we come to Blackpool Harry Ramsden fish and chips looked forward to it all day.No qué walked right in looked at the board seen they no longer do meal deals ordered large fish,large chips, mushy peas and pickles.(take away)£13.54 totally unreal for one take away meal.Went to sit on the beach to eat them the fish was flat no fish really in it the chips warmed up and the smallest portion of peas I had ever seen not much bigger that a egg cup.Never again a total waste of money walked down the prom and the average price for what I bought is around £7 how do they get the price to double for rubbish food.

Struggled to find somewhere to eat as the resort was so busy, there was a small queue outside HR so we decided to stop off here and give it a try, 10 minutes and we were in.The manager was on reception he talked us through their Covid rules etc and and made us feel extremely welcome.There was 7 of us including 3 children 5, 8 and 11.We sat on a table for 4 and 3.The menu was reasonable in size with plenty choice.Food was ordered at the bar the staff were very proffesional and helpful.Prices were ok and the food and drinks arrived in a short time from ordering.The food was hot, fresh, a decent sized portion and very tasty.We arrived at gone 8pm on a Saturday during Covid the resort was packed yet HR was a great safe haven to eat and we were all very impressed and will definitely visit again!

We were looking forward to going to BlackpoolTo enjoy some good fish and chips but was very disappointed that the fish was overdone the batter not a golden brown but dark brown and hard chips were rubbery... not nice since we wanted to enjoy a good fish and chips by the pier as we drove from Birmingham The shop was not busy at all so it wasn’t like they were rushed off their feet By the time we drove away we were too far to turn back and rectify the situation We did enjoy Blackpool though :)

Visited here on Tuesday, we all had the club 60 meal which was great value, plenty to eat and very nice. Staff were very pleasant. Didnt offer us track and trace though, we ordered our food at the bar and paid cash but track and trace never mentioned

Found food to be really good well up to the standards i was expexting. The staff was great and very professional. The young lady who sat us down to to day was really informative about covid which i found to be very helpful. The place was very uptodate on covid infomation and the track and trace was easy to use and do. unlike other places i visted. My waiter was very kind and helpful as well. Food was quick to come out and was just over all amzing. I will 100% be coming back as they give great customer serivce and food.

Chips were nice, service was crap. So hostile, asked for a pie got a short abrupt response back about there being none whatsoever, that's fine, don't have it plastered all over your menu then and perhaps just explain we've sold out sorry or some kinder words. Don't know who that girl is, but don't think she should be the face for your business with an attitude like that. Also started arguing with the fryer about how he needed to cook more chips she hasn't got enough for the order, needless to say the large chips were just the same size as a medium but in a bigger box. There was then a slow meander with our chip boxes in hand to the restaurant to get curry sauce, you run out of stuff I get it but when you're the only customers waiting for a takeaway and you know that's your order, of course you're just going to ask is everything alright as you see your chips go for a little ride. Best not to ask questions! Despite the road trip to get the curry sauce, the chips were hot enough and tasted nice. Honestly whoever that girl is she just doesn't have any normal customer service type responses, it's weird! Very hostile, short, abrupt, lack of communication, argumentative to staff in front of customers. It was as though she didn't want anyone to come in and order, maybe she scared all the customers away?! Didn't even get asked if we wanted salt and vinegar btw, isn't that like the most basic question you get asked in a chippy! Good job I didn't want it really isn't. Just miserable! Nice chips though, cheers to the fryer for sorting that must of been a tough shift working with misery guts so appreciate the nice food. Came in about 7pm, Tuesday 8th September it was only her behind the counter at the time. Ordered a medium chips/curry sauce, large chips/curry sauce, medium chips/ peas and gravy.

We went here on a Friday and had no issues getting a table, Things have changed we had to be shown to our table and order our food at the till at the bar. We had Camembert rounds and fish bites to start with and i had fish and chips, All our food arrived quickly and tasted nice. We used my taste card and got all our food 2 for 1. Only down side is there was not much choice of draft beer on tap. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The service was good, although the app didn't work so we had to order at the bar. The fish was quite tasty, but nothing special. The batter was good but I think the fish may have been frozen as it wasn't very flaky. Chips were crispy, which I like. It was all fine but nothing special - considering the price. Luckily for us we ate on a Monday night and it was 'Eat out to help out' so our meal for two only cost just less than £15 so it wasn't too bad. If I'd paid full price I would probably have been disappointed.

Nipped in here today as was raining but glad we did, was expensive but in fairness you pay for the name, fish was beautifully cooked, hubby had fish cake ans received 2!!! Curry saice was a plus as propwr chippy sauce, sometimes in restaurants you loose that, but here it was spot on

Amazing service. Waited in the queue (which went down very quickly, while following the COVID-19 guidelines) and felt very welcome when being shown to my seat. Got along with the staff who were very easy to talk to and explained everything we needed to know very clearly. Taking orders is easy and straight to the point and would highly recommend to anyone who lives / is on holiday in Blackpool. Prices are very reasonable for what you get, especially the large fish and chips! (I think the manager shown us to our table and down a very good job when doing it)Will definitely be back, no hesitation.

Manager was exceptional but unfortunately I feel he needs to be on the ball a little bit with his staff, the leather chairs we sat on were filthy! I took the spray on the side and used a serviette it was black, wish I took a photo now! and black hair in my food (were all blonde) deffo wouldnt go back until they clean a bit better.

I got the small cod and chips, it was pretty decent but I wouldn’t say it was worth the extra money. It was quite expensive considering the quality of the food, especially the batter which wasn’t that good. Felt like I was eating at a normal fish and chip shop, nothing special.

Fantastic service. Excellent food. They have worked exceptionally hard to make this restaurant Covid compliant. The one way system, screens and incredibly clean toilets made us all feel comfortable and relaxed. I fully recommend this restaurant.

Four of us (two seniors with our two grand daughters aged 9 and 11) visited this Harry Ramsdens in Blackpool at lunchtime on Tuesday 18th August and we all enjoyed a great experience. The small queue at the entrance was being well managed and after only a short wait we were allocated a table which was very well arranged to adhere to the current distancing rules. The service was first class, polite and friendly staff and the food for the four of us was perfect. A great experience and highly recommended.

The first set of food came out with no problems but the other set ended up coming out half an hour later! We asked for the manager several times and finally turned up 10 mins after asking for him. When our food did arrive the manager, Andrew, stood over us arguing about how it was our fault for doing it in two transactions and that we were to blame. He was set on the fact that it was our fault. No customer service skills, very rude and unhelpful. No social distancing, he stood over myself. The rest of the staff acted as if coronavirus did not exist and lent over us and stood around us. No masks and very little sanitisation. An awful experience, a waste of £50.00 so therefore will never be returning. Next time we have a trip to Blackpool we will be going to Nandos' or Bella Italia which is saddening as we have always come to Harry Ramsdens but no longer will. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

A clean, well run restaurant adhering to strict COVID infection control protocols. As a family of four, we found the fish and chips, pies, battered sausages and chicken strips to be absolutely superb. We all ate to much! We will be visiting again on the next stay!

Brilliant food brilliant service. Refreshing drinks nicely presented with fresh fruit ect we had fruity ciders. The portions were a good size. There were hand sanitisers dotted around the tables were nicely spaced (covid) one of the nicer places within blackpool town centre.

We were here on Monday 10th and were seated in an area at the back, which had people seated at every table at one point. No social distancing. There was no track and trace. The QR code on the table led to the Harry Ramsden website, but it didn’t list that restaurant, so I went up to queue at the bar. Out of 6 available taps on the bar, 3 had product labels but only 1 item was available. I ordered my three drinks and our food and took my seat. Our starters arrived first, after half an hour or so, so we asked the waitress to please check on our drinks. Another member of staff appeared a few minutes later to “double-check“ what we’d ordered to drink, and after having waited for 40 minutes, our drinks finally arrived! After finishing, the plates had sat on our table for about 20 minutes when I asked a passing waitress for the pudding which we had previously ordered for my child. She went to the kitchen where we could see staff looking through the orders and shrugging. 15 mins later I asked another waitress about the pudding, the jelly and ice cream, and again there was lots of shrugging at the kitchen. So I went up myself, with my receipt, to find they were putting it together after all. All in all, staff seemed disinterested, toilets had no loo roll and, at one point, two members of staff seemed to be having words nearby to our table. Not the best dining out experience we’ve had.

Myself and my husband had a nice pint of larger and a meal to share but found some things on the menu reasonable but other things were to expensive and if your on a budget it would not suit everyone and if u have a lot of children it would not be the place for u but still a nice place to visit.

Very poor. No queue at 17.30 - Great! No No No! Manager said to keep people queuing as kitchen are struggling to cope! Was told 20 minutes wait. 50 minutes late was seated. Waitress kept saying sorry!Anyway, QR code on the table DIDNT work, so line up and order at the bar. Large cod was at best a regular and the chips looked like scraps! *pea cold*‘Pie of the day’ Steak and mushroom with creamy mash and gravy. Hmm the creamy mash was mircowaved mash and disgusting! Ordered 6 pints of Diet Coke for us all (no ice no fruit). Came to the table, no ice, but could see fruit remnants in the glasses - asked to be exchanged. Fresh drinks came back, 1 diet and 5 regular, so asked to be exchanged. 3rd time was a charm - just as ordered!Food came. Cod on the small side - chips almost non existent and cold peas. Pie was red hot and mash was microwaved!Expected more and got rubbish.

Always love having Fish n Chips by the sea and always make a point of having our tea here. The portions are incredible, both my wife and I had the large Fish n Chips with mushy peas and the kids had sausage and chips.Food was excellent as was the service..Had to wait a little before being allowed in as due to Covid 19 the restaurant had to reduce the numbers of diners in at any one time, we only waited 10 minutes.Great value, great food and great service.

I visited here with my children on Thursday and what a disappointment. The food was barely warm, mushy peas were stone cold, chips were dry and hard. You had to order at the bar as the QR codes on the table were not working, fair enough but three trips up to the bar it took for them to get my order right. Totally overpriced even if you go on the half price days it’s still overpriced for low quality food.

Sort out your Covid policy.Never got a seat. Waited by the “wait to be seated sign”, someone came. Said she couldn’t find the seater. We’re then asked to wait outside.By this time others were behind us and in the lobby. Safely wait where exactly? We were safe where we were, definitely wasn’t going to wait in a lobby now full with other people. Well done guys, took my business elsewhere.

real disappointed with food, the food was luke warm at best, no attention paid to customers by staff.

It was our first time out for a meal since the COVID-19 lockdown. We were unsure where to go on the first night of our visit to Blackpool. Spotted Harry Ramsdens and remembered my late grandma used to speak about the chain being her favourite so we thought we’d give it a go, and we were not disappointed! Clear signage and good safety systems including an app for ordering (with option to order at the bar for the less tech savvy) and screens between tables made it feel really safe. Staff were attentive and enforced the safety measures but without this feeling uncomfortable or overwhelming. It really did feel like the customers safety was the priory (unlike other places we had visited which appeared to be simply paying lip service to the guidelines). The food was good quality and great portion sizes - particularly liked being able to order small, medium or large fish and chips. Absolutely couldn’t fault it, all staff have clearly worked hard to adapt to the guidelines and are a credit to the restaurant.

First meal out since February! The food never disappoints large and fresh. My only gripe was the mobile ordering as it got lost in the system and took 45-50mins to arrive, including drinks. The manager did give us a free drink to make up for it though so alls good. Pricey but you pay for fresh quality. Be going again :)

When we came in we immediately feltat ease with the procedures put in place to protect customers. Everything was explained by the manager when we were seated. Food was lovely and staff helpful. Will be back again soon.

We came in for takeaway fish and chips x 4, price paid was 38 pounds which was very reasonable. The chips were the best chips I have had, no grease and fresh made as was the fish and batter, the fish was huge. Social distancing was adhered to at all times, staff were very friendly and polite. I would definitely go again next time I visit blackpool!

We arrived and were seated rather quickly, that was the only good thing about my visit. My partner ordered scampi and chips and I ordered cod without the batter and chips. The chips were dry and not very hot, the scampi and cod were both pretty much cold.

Great fish and chips here, they had a rat run through the restaurant when I was there but it didn't put me off much and I've been back since!

The service in here is exceptional,we were taken to our table by a very happy,friendly young lady who also served us and brought us the bill.The fish and chips were beautiful but its a shame that the bread and butter ended up with holes in the bread, as the butter was too hard to spread.Yes its quite expensive compared to some of the fish shops in Blackpool, but you get what you pay for and the service alone was worth the extra money.

If you want to pay 35 pounds for undercooked greasy food eat here it was horrible i had scampi or that was the description it was burnt n tasteless my partner had cod that was tasteless. Give it a miss

We visited today 7/3/20 for lunch whilst staying in Blackpool have not been before and was surprised how big the restaurant was it is well decorated and modern we were greeted by a lovely young lady who seated us and explained it was table service another waitress took our drinks order and gave us time to read menus service was great food arrived quickly I had the scampi and hubby had medium cod and chips food was lovely well cooked and presented. Could not fault it. Great toilets too clean and tidy.Would recommend.

We called into the restaurant after watching a show at the Winter Gardens. The premises was very modern with a nautical theme throughout.As soon as we sat down our server, a young gentleman named Jordan, came and introduced himself and gave us our menu's.From that moment on until the moment we left, Jordan, couldn't have done enough for us.He was very cheerful, joined in with our conversation and made sure we had everything we needed.One of the people in our party was a young lady who is visually impaired and asked him lots of questions (mostly about Elvis lol) and he chatted away to her and interacted in every way he could. Even brought a stack of cushions so that she was high enough to reach the table.Nothing was too much trouble.Maybe a good idea for you to invest in some booster seats for teenagers and young adults. This isn't a criticism, just a suggestion.My family had brought some party decorations for my 50th, so when I left to use the bathroom they decorated the booth before I came back. Again, Jordan helped them to do this as nothing was too much trouble.The food arrived and it certainly didn't disappoint. The portions are huge. It was all piping hot, nicely presented and more importantly, fresh.We could not fault any of it.Everything was quickly tidied away after eating, but not in a way that made us feel rushed.Then came my cake, with half of the staff who came to sing and wish me happy birthday. Just a lovely touch for a fantastic evening.We really can't thank Jordan enough. He made the evening much more pleasant and it was nice to have him join in.He certainly is a valuable member of staff for you to have and we couldn't have been better looked after. Thank you Jordan.p.s. your make up was amazing too.

Excellent setting, tasty menu and cocktails. Great service. Pricey though! But A+ for overall quality and experience.

Called in for lunch,service staff excellent and friendly,lovely decor nice and clean.Fish was lovely,chips very hard and luke warm as if they had just been reheated.lovely good size pot of tea. First visit will definitely go again.

We came here for a bite to eat before attending a Kaiser Chiefs gig at The Winter Gardens. It was quiet as we were eating early. The two gentlemen working were so welcoming and friendly and really took an interest in why we were visiting Blackpool. The food was gorgeous and we both really enjoyed our meal and drinks. Great way to start our evening.

Can't say I was amazed by HR. The cod and chips was fine but I would expect that as a minimum. Kids sausage and chips comes with a single sausage wow, and plastic straws all round. Not good enough Harry for an 8 year old eco warrior who probably won't be back.

Absolutely fabulous service from Andy & Jordan. Food was cooked to order and came out promptly. Great food and an amazing team, keep up the good work.

We visited Saturday afternoon and we had a great visit. 8 adults and a child, lots of space to seat us, team were very good and well trained, food was also very good. Next time I’m up I will be visiting again.

Me and my husband always come here for our fish and chips when we go to Blackpool! The food is always great, a bit more pricey then others but it’s warm inside, the staff are nice, it’s clean, there are toilets and it’s family friendly!

Came with my partner and nephew was great from start to finish Jordan our server was great everything we asked for he was more than happy to get it will be back all because of him

Staff where lovely and friendly, they looked after us really well. The food was delivered quickly and was very nice, the restaurant was clean and would definitely go again.

I have been to a few Harry Ramsden's and always been a good treat. This one had the best interior design for a restaurant. As always with Harry Ramsdens you have to go for the Fish and Chips / Legendary Fish. It was very nice. The fish was golden and fluffy. it came with a generous helping of chips and garden peas. Not much else can be said it was a very nice dinner and as good as the rest. (No fish challenge though :()
