Rush Green Balti in Havering

This used to be a decent Indian. Gone very bad now. The rice is wet. I don’t understand why it’s so wet, it’s hard to describe, but there was so much moisture in the rice. Ruined are meal.

Best quality food they are my neighbour and i always visits them whenever i need some good and delicious to eat specially their roti thats awsome totally different from other resturents 10/10 for roti

Have ordered from here since it opened absolute moons ago where you could View the kitchen from the waiting area. The guy who used to own it was great as was the food and service. Few years ago he sold up and it just got worse and worse. Containers half full, orders taking 2 hours to arrive, chicken chewy and little to no spice even with a vindaloo. We stopped using for all the above reasons and now us taste of bengal which is everything n rush green balti used to be. I’m not shocked to now see it was awarded a zero for hygiene by food standards recently! Please look else where for a curry you will be wasting your money and possibly risking sickness

Not spicy at all. Poor no flavour - wish I’d checked reviews before ordering - no wonder we had a leaflet posted through the door 🤦🏻‍♀️

Worst takeaway I’ve ever ordered . Sag paneer was disgusting was in coconut of some sort , never in my life has this been served like this, mushroom Balaji came in what resembled coloured water., I don’t believe this food was fresh , never ordering again from this place.

I had a delivery for Myself and children Whilst tucking into our food, my 8 year old daughter found a hair and pulled it out her rice, then seconds later another. To describe them from a hairdressers point of view, they look not the sort to come off a head. I called the restaurant and was told they cannot be pubic but they are the chefs beard. I asked the man to collect all the food as it’s uneaten and to hand back my £20 cash to which he told me he wouldn’t offer a refund but a small discount on my next order. I told him I would never order again since the hygiene of the kitchen has put me off and that my children still need a dinner so I wanted to order from somewhere else He told me to call just eat as manager not there and just eat need to call them to tell them to refund Terrible appalling the way it’s been dealt with It’s now 2 days and still no refund from here or just it and of course all the food went in the bin as they refused to collect it with the curly wirlys I placed in a sealed clear bag as proof for them

Food from here is amazing....been a customer for 20 years....never disappointed.... highly reccomend the Chicken tikka madras and the chicken balti.....food is always hot ,always on time and always lovely x

Awful, 1st time and last time!! Had to call twice to find out when I was to get my delivery. Food almost cold. The popperdoms left a very bitter taste. Seems they were cooked in very old oil. Would like to know what the hygiene rating is!! Didn't want to reheat anything as not sure if it had already been reheated. Not happy at all. Awful

It's Covid 19 time and we ordered a take away for a treat. It's was pretty awful, tasteless, boring and not at all authentic. The Chingri Johl prawns were really quite terrible. Tasteless prawns in a watery tomato base. No spice, no flavour. Pretty much the same of the rest of the meal with some basics done poorly. The only dish that was vaguely decent was the Sag Aloo. Good points.. it was delivered quickly which in itself is rather worrying. Go elsewhere.

The rest of the food is always good but for some reason the poppadoms keep coming up oily and disgusting. We usually like to have our poppadoms as a snack after our takeaway and this has spoiled it a bit for us.

After using this Indian one time I’ve never used any other. Everything I’ve ordered from here has always been on point and amazing flavours! Love this place

Lamb was tough sauce was to thick and far to rich Nann bread was burnt on one side My lamb sag had hardly any lamb in it first and last time but on a plus side delivery guy was nice and polite

My experience this evening in bullet points. . Bad Customer Service staff couldn’t understand me If you are going to run a business at least have someone that understand a simple enquiry . Bad Time Keeping 40 minutes late driver didn’t know where he was going also couldn’t follow simple instructions I don’t expect to have to meet the driver half way down my road In order to collect my food from them. . Terrible Food no flavour very plain only just warm kids nuggets and chips were a disrespectful dripping in fat. The fritters were soggy the rice was cold and tasteless. . Requested a manager call me but I’m still waiting for this call terrible terrible service. I Don’t Advise Anyone Wasting Their Money Here.

been looking for an Indian takeaway restaurant since the Farhana closed (32 years I used it) and have now found its replacement at long last, food is excellent, delivery is fast, and the prices are great, it's a "must eat here" takeaway.

We've used Rush green Balti for many years now but found tonight that for the 20% off your bill you get 20% less food, the food used to be spot on but tonight the chicken was missing flavour, pilau rice has a weird taste, masala sauce was half a portion and for £28 not 1 free popadom! Most give you a free bottle of drink Sad as it was the best in the area but now lacking.... Will try Adil next time

Having ordered many times before from here and been more than satisfied, we feel that this time the vegetable balti containers were half full...so the discount was worthless to me.. ..No freebie either for an order this size and thus leaves me trying a new Indian takeaway next time....shame..

Nice, tasty food. Unfortunately the Peshwari Naan was missing although we ordered it and paid for it. Next time we better check our order when picking it up. No discount was offered for takeaway.

Great little indian restaurant and take away. The guys here are very friendly and the food is really good. They are always welcoming if I visit or phone in for a take away. I really enjoy the food here.

Love this place, mostly I eat out so not very often I have a takeaway but when I do it's always from here. Chicken curries you always get more meat than you really need and if you order a hot curry eg vindaloo they are hot, I recommend the vindaloo for lots of spice. One criticism is their nan breads aren't always up to scratch, quite often a little burnt. Indian food is very personable but give this a try, you will not regret it.

Takes ages to arrive, longer than estimated. Saag ponnir was vile (worst we've ever had). So we changed to saag Aloo. Vindaloo was too oily and rice was short on volume. We will order from Adil next time.

Food was nothing special but it was O.K. however, the delivery time was rubbish. 1 hour and 25 mins from order to delivery so the long wait for an O.K curry means I won't be ordering for here again.

The Rush Green Balti in my opinion is the best in the area! The food is always of the same high standard and tastes fantastic! All the family order here and won't bother with anywhere else!

We order regularly from Rush Green Balti and are never disappointed. We have collected & had deliveries and have no complaints whatsoever. The food is good quality, very tasty & always of a high standard. We recommend this as our favourite take away in the area!! :-)

The meal was made well and was very tasty. The spices and seasoning was very well balanced. The naan bread could have been cooked for longer. It was a bit doughy. However I would definitely recommend the restairant if tou fancy some nice indian

Rush Green Balti has been on this road for a number of years - they always get my custom compared to their competitors nearby because the front of house is always friendly, the food is delicious and the portions are always generous. I can't recommend enough!
