I had lamb shish and chicken shish. Was amazing ! Really tender lamb and good flavour. Salad is nice and fresh, I like that they put the bread underneath the meat. They need to cut down the salt a little bit on a whole very good !

Never been disappointed with the food or service here. You can also order online via an app for pick up, great to use when on a train heading to Gidea Park.

Delicious!! They forgot our chips but I called and they was delivered within 10 minutes. Rice was a bit too salty but the meat, bread and salad was amazing. First order here and won’t be the last!

Ordered chicken shish and rice , delivery was earlier than expected which was a good thing , what turned up was a teaspoon of rice and the rest cous cous. To which I am not a fan of , plus it wasn’t what ordered. I called the restaurant as my order did not contain rice what I had ordered via just eat. My call went through three people and passing to staff as they kept telling me to hold on while they took orders ?.I was told I am the 1st to moan re no rice?.

I'm a huge kebab fan, and I order mixed kebab platters for me and others, more than i care to admit lol so I've tried loads. This is by far the best kebab platter I have ever ordered. the amount of food and selection we got was amazing, every aspect of this food was perfect 👌 from all the meat, down to the salad and sauce. AMAZING 👏 this place will be my no.1 so I give you guys 5 stars 🌟 well deserved. Thank you for a great meal

Guys you need to really look at the quality of what your selling now. It's obvious it's changed hands as what you receive now is in no way what the food used to be like and it really shows! Gone are the decent portions, food cooked beautifully and feel it was a real treat and money well spent now what you get is Food overcooked. Poor portion size. Food swimming in grease. Not great quality food. Pretty much everything that everyone loved about balgores has gone, you even robbed us of our green chilli peppers in the salad and replaced them with gerkhins like we wouldn't notice! Gerkhins are for Christmas and burgers they do not go on a Kebabs salad. We are not savages! Leave them in the jar. We've been loyal customers for the last 10 years so we know what the food is usually like. This rapid decline has not gone unoticed by the rest of your customers either by the look of it. We recently ordered a Medium Chicken Shish as is one of our usual orders when we come to you and it came with 3 bits of chicken and hardly any rice. The portion size is shocking now, the tray literally had a thin layer of rice on the bottom and 3 bits of chicken so felt pretty cheated to be honest for what was spent. But top dollar is still charged. I hope you get these issues rectified quickly as we don't want to have to find a new kebab shop after being customers for so long. I have just attached a photo from our last order the box was all dented in, squashed flat pretty much covers it and the food inside was squashed and the outside of the box had the insides wiped over it. A nice decorative feature but i wasnt intending on licking the box 😞

Worst kebab place ever! Don’t bother ordering a wrap because it’ll be so soggy that you can’t pick it up. Second time trying to order pitta bread from this place but they don’t seem to know what pitta bread is. Only Turkish bread, if I wanted Turkish bread I would order from a proper Turkish restaurant. Disappointing. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Food is passable at 10pm at night Burger - freshly made, standard burger like from a van Doner kebab - pre made, nothign special here Chips - mcain chips mate Grilled Wings - can'[t really mess these up and they didn't This is a last minute place to grab a burger if i am desperate and everything is closed.

AMAZING !!! I’m fussy btw, both chicken and lamb doner where really good, not greasy or over salty, was all hot, delivery driver was really nice, salad you can tell is made fresh daily and the mix they give you in it is really good, they even cut the ends off the chilli’s I mean come onnn. And it’s decent price. Keep it up pleaseee

First time I ordered from here last night and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was! The kebab was perfect and the large size definitely was a huge amount! I liked I got a gerkin in the salad too as no where else does this that I have ordered from 👍 the mushrooms from the side orders was amazing and I could have just had a plate of those 😆 order was 10 minutes and still the chips were hot so all in all 10/10!

I have been using this Kebab shop for years, Wouldn’t think twice about going anywhere else, but now that will change our placed my usual order mixed meat and chips and I couldn’t believe it when I opened it. You can always rely on Balgores For good portion sizes, but this is just embarrassing. Congratulations, you’ve lost a loyal customer.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE!!! The food was absolutely awful, I have never seen anything like this ever!! I've honestly seen road kill that looked in a better condition than this food. We ordered doner kebab, chicken shish and potato wedges. The donor meat was filth, I wouldn't feed it to my dog it was that bad, asked for the meat to be well done and crispy but got well under done I think the kiss of life would have brought that thing back to life. The shish was over spiced and rubbery. The whole thing was so oily they had put it in 3 bags. Waste of time, phone minutes and money!!! DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY Needs trading standards to pay a visit

We plan to have a wonderful evening with no plans to cook afterwards the evening was a nightmare because my ciken donner was lamb donner with a very strange smell, the wings being just bone and skin. as for ciken sish, very small portion (5 small pieces) full of oil.

Honestly this place used to be really good but recently it's gone down hill. The kebab was so bad, definitely old meat. Horrible taste and was very rubbery. Quarter pounder was decent but nothing special. (Food was not worth taking a picture of) Not a recommend anymore. Thumbs down from me :(

Please don’t order here !! I’ve come to this kebab shop quite a few times now. On the first try it was really nice so because of that I repeatedly gone back however the past 2 times it’s been quite oily but nothing enough to cause a problem. I will no longer be going back because what I received last night was awfull and not acceptable at all I’m not even going to explain you can look yourself !! If you could give 0 stars I would but you can’t.

Doner wrap had dry meat within it and also asked for burger sauce and got BBQ sauce and made it disgusting to be fair!!

We ordered a take away which although arrived hot, our large doner wrap was dreadful! The meat was tough, nobbly & dry. The salad was almost non existent We have been using this takeaway since day one but not anymore. Such a shame as the prices are dear, will be going to the chip shop next time!!! Very disappointed.

I used to be a big fan of the food at this place, but, in my opinion, the quality has declined. It's become inconsistent – sometimes it's quite enjoyable, and other times, I've received old double-fried chips that are not appetizing, and the meat can be hit or miss as well, except for the Shish meat.

The staff here are friendly but the food is very average and quite tasteless. Ordered a chicken doner wrap, was a good size but the bread was too thin and it was loaded with wet salad which made it soggy. I don’t think I’ll be coming here again, overall I wasn’t happy with what I paid for.

huge disappointment tonight , ordered kebabs , told my friend how they never let me down and the orders are always great , tonight turned up meat chips and extra bread , forgot my dips , salad and the extra bought dips , phoned and was told add to the next order , but tonight’s meals were ruined , dry and pretty tasteless without the dips and salad and pointless bread with no dips , i’ll be going elsewhere in future , gutted and very disappointing ,

Please take a look at the photo, I don’t think I have this much oil in my car. Will not return or recommend. When I first started using these they were spot on. Maybe complacency.

Fresh food, quick service, I would say that the staff is a bit brash at times, but I guess that comes with the area they operate in. It's rough sometimes. Main thing is the meat and the chicken, the quality is very good.

Standards have dropped heavily. Was a go to place for us for a long while. Doesnt compare to competitors in the same area. Just smell the donner when it arrives, was either burned like dead skin or barely steamed in other.

Exactly what I think of when I want a kebab. Hasn't failed to hit the spot yet.

Delicious chicken kebab! Absolutely generous portions! As per request and nice that salad was separate! One more thing the bread is so tasty it's not ordinary pitta it's so soft, fresh and delicious! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Completely wrong order given to me. Awful food and terrible service. However this fast food outlet has ever managed to remain in business is beyond me. Prices are over inflated and the food served I wouldn’t feed to a dog. I will be reporting their filthy place to trading standards no wonder they only have a food rating of 4. Rear door to food prep area wide open, rubbish bins right next to the door, no PPE OR FOOD HYGIENE protection worn by staff. REVOLTING.

Used to be good from here but has gone downhill. Food arrived all soggy, barely any salad. Chips were cold, chicken (shish) was tough and stingy on sauce pots.

Tried Balgores for the first time in several years and glad I did. Bought a chicken and lamb shish and both were cooked perfectly. Meat was high quality, tender and very well seasoned. Would highly recommend.

Half decent food but I went to collect my order and they told me cash only. I'm sure I have paid by card before and their website shows verified by all card providers. They made me run around to two cash machines, as one wasn't working and the one that was working charges. They should maybe tell their customers on the phone before collecting that the only accept cash. I definitely will not be going back.

Food is great. However I haven't been in a while and the portion sizes now are absolutely ridiculous... Do not match the price! So small and I don't think I'll he going again now.

A real shame! Food is good however, the attitude of some staff is appalling. He made an error with my orde, but my fault apparently?? And he was happy to argue with me. Then proceeded to take my food to an open bin to scrape it off rather than doing it fresh. Got a fresh one in the end whilst he moaned to another worker standing next to him. Again real shame

This is the best Turkish Takeaway in London. It' not close enough to Ilford for delivery, so we usually order 'Belgores special' and drive there to collect. A good portion for 3-4 people, very tasty 😋 Amazing staff members. I would recommend it 👌

Pizzas were ordered at a friend's and the delivery was atrocious, over 2 hours

Absolutely awful, 5th time I’ve been missing items so I called them today and they said they aren’t refunding me they’ll just send the other bits out to which they said will be 45 mins. Then when I said I would just prefer the refund for missed items they changed it and said we delivered your food early so technically there’s still 19 mins to get ALL your food delivered. Surely it should be delivered ALtogether anyway. To which I then explained the rest of the food will be cold. They laughed down the phone to me and shouting at his colleague swearing and being unprofessional and so I asked for his name as I’ve got half my order missing and he’s not helping me as to how I go about a refund and he said just call me boss man, I asked for his real name to which he replied listen mate you ain’t getting a refund thanks bye and then hung up the phone. So frustrating and disgraceful

Been a good customer here and my family and friends for many years as you will see from my previous review. HOWEVER went there last night for a lamb wrap (11.12.20) and when I got home I was extremely angry about the content. The portion of lamb was less than half the normal portion I used to get and it was so greasy as well. The price has also increased. Went to the Frying Pan after as I was still hungry and ordered the same. It makes Balgores look like a second rate outfit, their wrap was packed with meat and not greasy. Balgores have not only lost my custom but also my friends and family due to their greed

We purchased a new home and had excellent service from the lady dealing with us her name was Shobone And we would definitely recommend her services as she made the process very smooth for us😊

Disgraceful customer services. Waited an hour and 30 mins for freezing cold food to be sent! When I called to complain (keeping in mind we use them twice a week!) all they would do is offer £5 off in the future. The only way they would give me any refund was if they took back the cold food my kids had waited 1.5 hours to eat which I’ve now had to microwave to be half acceptable. A loyal customer now lost. Disgusting behaviour.

If you want to be robbed then use this place! I have never reviewed anything before because its fair that people make mistakes but this place... Delivery driver had no change well ok its £3 you know what have it. but then i noticed the order was completely wrong I phoned to ask for a refund i was then told that i should check the website because they dont do what i think i ordered but it was the website i ordered it from? i was then told it was my fault i had ordered the wrong thing, but i thought they didnt do what i ordered? after being told its my fault and arguing with me they agreed to a refund, Great thats all i wanted 20 minutes go by and no one is here to collect the food and issue the refund i have called again and no reply i finally manage to get through and im told what does he want me to do the food is sh*t the money has been moved you are not getting it. I will be going through the avenues to make sure this place cleans up its act or stops trading
