Subway in Havering

Fresh, good quality ingredients and bread, fairly fast service, also one of the staff said footlongs come with a free drink which I haven’t heard of before but more than happy to take. A bit pricey but good offers with vouchers, convenient location.

We went there ! We wanna redeem the points for hot drink! There is a girl whose name is Gurpreet ! She was saying that ! Our system is not working ! She refused! Us ! It’s very bad experience !

Fillings could of been made more appealing. And don't go so crazy with the sauces please. More food, less sauce

Seems to be too many issues with the pdq machine nowadays, and I'm concerned about the customer service that follows in regard to how the staff react.

I’m not very happy and satisfied today I bought my lunch a large salad 🥗 and the male staff who serve me who’s in charge was talking to his staff while serving his multi tasking I ask nicely to add an sweet onion sauce and his not happy . I never had a chance to eat my salad properly as the salad was so dry because he only put few on the top of my salad and the the inside. Down to bottom of my salad is so dry so after work by 5pm I went back as nicely to female staff if they can put add sauce so I can eat the salad at home the make staff who serve me sitting outside the service area and he said he remember me . And so I told him why I’m asking and as a customer it’s my rights to ask as I paid the full amount and I deserve to satisfy what I can expect from subway product as per advertise . In front of other customer he said not all the time customer is “ not always right”. instead to treat me right he argue with me and giving me attitude I said I don’t want any argument nor complain and all I’m asking is what it need to be done as the product was given to I can’t eat as it was dry. I’m Looking forward for this matter to investigate about customer service that for him his attitude and the way he treat me as a customer unacceptable . If my colleagues, friends and relatives will know my experience . This is not right and unprofessional. Respect and good customer service .

Staff are so rude, said they had no meatball sub so asked if I could get the breakfast sub with veggies and if they could do that, said yes and got to the end and said they couldn't actually do it, then when I asked for no ketchup they asked why and stared at me, so paid for a sub I didn't even want

I visited this Subway branch twice back to back a few days ago.The servers were friendly and polite. The food storage area looked clean and organised, which is the first thing I look for upon entering any food establishment. It's a little branch located close to the station and it mostly serves as a takeaway type of branch as seating is limited. Otherwise, no complaints and hopefully the staff at this particular branch keeps it up.

While subway sandwich is one of my favorite sandwiches from a long time and I still enjoy them a lot, have generally observed the customer service across stores nowadays has degraded and the staff just prepares sandwiches for your order for the sake of it... No attention to detail like how much veggies you need or care to have courteous attitude towards you. Style of preparation has also appears having lack of finesse. A smiling and caring face would go a long way in building that relationship for you to go again there. It feels like they just wanna get over with the order.... Nonetheless I do not hate subway sandwiches as a product for that...just the experience lacks warmth and friendliness leaving behind a not so pleasant experience while in the store. Hopefully the product does not loose it's charm.... All the best...

The subway in Debden is a must go to restaurant. The choice of food is amazing, the staff are friendly and professional. I really enjoy going there... Well done 👏 ✔️ 👏

Your average Subway. Only big downsize is that it doesn't have a proper dining area, but rather a couple of chairs inside and 4 chairs outside

I live in Romford and love a subway, on my recent visit I found that this store doesn't cater for the muslim community, such a shame there was no halal options. Romford is becoming much more diverse with Popeyes, and Chopstix new stores opened next door to Subway. Both have Halal options so very pleased with this. Subway will lose a lot of customers if it doesn't upgrade its marketing strategy. Clearly its market segmenting and targeting is out of date and needs to be reviewed asap. Havering has a Muslim population of 4,829 which is 1.9% of the population.

I went into Romford subway in South Street as I had been sent vouchers, I ordered and when I got to the till they said they weren't participating in the vouchers, why was there not a sign on the door or window advising of this, I wish I had just left and not had the sub! Don't use these scam artists!

No customer service from the two women behind the counter.

Only went in to see if they accepted a subway promotion voucher. Like every other Subway of course it didn't; absolute scam. Anyhow, went for a 6"sub and tea. The multi grain sub bread was well down the stale axis and the fillings were ok but, without a voucher, well overpriced. The tea comes with an open drink hole so that got a bit spilly even though I managed to stop the badly fitting lid from coming off. Never yet had a decent experience at a Subway. The server was polite but miserable and unwelcoming. McD opposite next time.

Fairly good experience cooperation was good and tasted pretty good

Vegetarians ye be warned! If you order the meatball marinara accidentally instead of the meatless marinara they will not change it for you rest assured of that. Subway in the bin just saying.

The salad I ordered was pretty small size :( but fairly fresh. Staff was not welcoming, to the point of being almost rude. It only accepted card payments, which denotes attention to hygiene rules - just keep it in mind if you only have cash on you.

Worst subway to go to and to order online. My in store experience was always bad. Today I ordered through uber eats which is already overpriced but the food was disgusting. The sub was cold.. no cheese even though we asked for cheese and toasted. Bread was so try that we couldn’t even chew it. They are rude, no customer service.

The place is clean, the staff are quick. They could be a little more welcoming.

I went to subway romford south street to get a subway on the 3 March 2020 and it said on subway app it was open till 21.30 pm I got there at 20.50 pm to be told by the staff they closed which I found surprising as it was to early this is the way a business should be operating in any industry it is also fringing on the edge of breaking certain laws that govern retail stores such trading standards and misinformation law as well I wknt be frequenting that store anymore as it is nit trustworthy enough to retain my custom

visited for a lunch time snack yesterday - sat outside and eat salad bowl and coffee. have been here a few times in the last few months. however the portion sizes have gone down dramatically one small scoop of cheese (had to pay 30p for another one) salad bowl not over full. wanted carrots on salad a few added. another lady was complaining to her friend that the chicken portion she had was smaller than usual. they would be better off charging more and giving people a decent portion. will not go again.

Good variety for a quick bite to eat

Came here on my lunch break 14th Sunday afternoon 2pm . They were busy and I was happy to wait 10mins to be served. Made my order and asked the staff member if the upstairs dining area was open as there was no available seating downstairs and it was rather crowded. He said no its closed. I asked why, he couldn't give me a sensible reason why. I am a regular customer at this branch and I spend a fair amount of money here 4 to 5 days a week. I would expect a better service considering the time of day. Very disappointing service from your staff. I will not be eating here again.

This occasional I was handed the wrong order, didn't realise until I got back to the office. I then went back to return it when the gentleman said 'You took the wrong one' which I politely corrected to 'No, I am sure you mean I was given the incorrect order'! Normally pretty good but not this day.

They made mistakes on what I wanted and were a bit stingy with the salads, I have to ask for more. They didn't cut my foot long in half so it was difficult to eat.

I had breakfast and it was very good

When the store closes at 9pm, they will not start the oven for your sandwich and sometimes not even serve you at 8:30pm. Unacceptable!

Came to this subway on 19/9/18. Came at 8.30 when shop closes at 9 and was refused service. Different if i came in only a few minutes before closing but to be hired in a job to not do the work/full hours your paid to do is very disrespectful against the buisness owner.

Subway was dank No pepsi on the refillable machine ting so man had to get a pepsi max only to give it to my boy Had a footlong nonito

I like getting my sandwiches from this Subway

We came into Subway at around 10pm on a March Friday night. The service was quick and up to Subway standards although I don't think this restaurant offers great value. Still I enjoyed the meal and it was great that this shop is open late on Friday and Saturday nights.

Grumpy staff throwing toppings on bread with moods and sulks. Answers the questions so quiet that you need to listen very carefully to hear anything.....

Decent enough Subway with ok service - Notable as the only one in the local area, and all of East London to my knowledge, which provides the non-halal options (Essex direction may be different - I presume Brentwood / Billericay / Chelmsford subways etc. are the same as this one) As a result when in the area I often take the opportunity get their breakfast or their meatball / salami subs, which do not use the same meat elsewhere. Re: other local stores Turkey rashers are not the same taste wise unfortunately in my personal opinion, and the beef salami and meatballs are also lacking. Speaking of which, what I don't understand with Subway in general is why all stores have to be one or the other. Couldn't they all provide the halal options everywhere, whilst not at the same time restricting the whole menu at stores serving halal options as having halal only menus? A natural compromise surely, I can only guess it must have something to do with menu / variety / budget / equipment constraints.

I love the fact that you create your own taste. Trying to satisfy 7 family members can be a challenge, so each get to create their own.

Good options as usual in other subways. But this one does not serve Halal meat. The service was good and enough space to sit around for a short while. The location is good as well.

Service is what one would expect at a Subway. Place is a bit small and rarely you might have to wait outside, but not for long. Seating is very limited, so best for takeaway only.

Let me just say im a big fan of subway. However this particular store doesnt seem to stock their goods well at all. My girlfriend has frequently gone there only to be told there is no salad bowls, on a numer of ocassions. I went there today and they didnt have the new burnt ends meat despite it being plastered on the window. They also run out of salads ocassionally. We just thought screw it and went elsewhere to eat.

when it comes to sandwiches i can think of few places that beat subway. i love the choice and the meatballs are amazing! plus this one situated in romford seems to be the nicest i've tasted..not even in new york was it as nice!

I like this sandwich. Various types of bread, different salads and of course delicious salads. Quite a straightforward deal and rarely unsatisfied.

You can always rely on the quality at any Subway and I have been to several. A good concept for a quick lunch on the go.

Front area is quite cramped. Sub was nice and staff were okay. Nice eating area upstairs. Needed a little clean, though.
