Five Guys in Chelmsford

Food was a bit bland and was not having the highest of tastes. Maybe it's a personal opinion but would not visit again.

So disappointed ordered the food at 16.44 it arrived at 20.20 hrs the food was cold and not nice at all

Cold chips half of them just lose in bottom of bag , wet soggy bun on the burger tin foil not wrapped properly , and meat almost cold . Pretty disappointing to be truthful

Ordered £70 worth of food to have most of it missing when it arrived. Tried calling the restaurant several times to just have the phone ring and no one answer. Very disappointed with this service.

Nothing got delivered. No one showed up and the app claimed it got delivered. Awful service

Food was fine. But the driver walked into the building where delivered which is sheltered accommodation and was speaking on the phone so loud it woke up all the elderly residents the whole way through the corridor. Absolutely disgraceful.

There is a Wendy's next door to Five Guys and I tried it when it opened this week. Wow, so bad and having a place like Five Guys that KNOWS how to make cheese burgers and fries also made that Wendy's feel worse. Five Guys, is just lovely. It costs a lot but the amount of fries you get is incredible...for two to three people, you only need one portion!! The drinks, soft drinks is pricey but also unlimted. The shakes are incredible. Also good hotdogs!! Quite frankly, after going to Wendy's, I appreciate Five Guys so much more. Spend more and be more satisfied. Damn, even Maccies has gone up in my opinion compared to Wendy's.

The burgers were ok but the chips were obviously just reheated, but the issue we have is that the bathrooms were disgusting and lacking in cleanliness, if I’d used the bathrooms before I had eaten I wouldn’t of stayed, that’s not just a busy day that’s from weeks, overpriced food without the cleanliness other main burger places have, will not be going back

A great burger, customised to my liking and lots of cajun chips! Made only better as I didn't need to remortgage the house because business expenses covered it...what a delightful and tasty treat!

I was served by Youssra and she makes fantastic suggestions i tried a milkshake she suggested and it was the best milkshake ever!! Service was very friendly and entertaining loved it!!

This is a burger chain. Not like any other chain as I haven't seen another that keeps you burger in tinfoil to keep warm. 15 different toppings free on top of what you order. My bacon cheeseburger was £11.95 and chips were £4.95, so pricy but of good quality

The customer service is superb, very friendly & professional, on top of the fantastic quality & quantity of food. Even though I only ordered a small meal, it was both delicious & extremely filling. I highly recommend this restaurant for a spot of lunch.

Stopped by for milkshakes and discovered a delightful surprise - complimentary perfectly salted peanuts! Paired them with a peanut butter milkshake and a salted caramel shake. Despite initial skepticism about size versus price, they turned out to be surprisingly filling. The peanut butter shake leaned more towards salted caramel due to honey-roasted peanuts, but the salted caramel one was spot-on. Shoutout to the manager—an enthusiastic pro. Next mission: burgers. 'Toast' and 'GBK' might have the upper hand on peanut butter shakes, but overall for me, a tasty experience. Looking forward to round two!

Absolutely brilliant five guys venue. Very clean and fast service. Nice staff and the food as brilliant as always. 🍔🍔🍔 had the biscoff pistachio and salted caramel as my milkshake combination and honestly was very nice (always try and different combination whenever I go into a five guys establishment peanut butter, salted caramel and chocolate is also good)

I'm a vegetarian, so I only ever have the vegetable burger and fries but they have always been so tasty. Love this premises and all of the literature on the walls.

My first visit to a Five Guys. The server was helpful when I said this is my first time. Went through the menu and the options with the 15 'free' toppings. I'd have preferred my meal and drink all came at the same time as drink was first then 7mins later the food. The meat in the burger was clearly different to other burger joints and very nice with a noticeable beef taste and less pulped texture. Usual picture doesn't fit the reality though; not enough salad added. The fries were very nice, if a little too salty, and plenty of them; apparently the potatoes were from Cheshire and skins left on. The strawberry milkshake was meh. Not the strongest flavour and it had the 99 flavour you get from the ice cream van, which I like but would have thought the flavouring should have over-powered that. Not too thick but still not a 'milkshake', ie milk and flavouring. The whipped cream on top was a treat at the end. I wouldn't rush back, especially for the cost.

We got a takeaway with 2 milkshakes, 2 fries and 2 burgers. Milkshakes were nice but not the food. The fries were so salty we threw them away and the burgers were disgusting. So greasy and fatty. Don't think they were a mistake just think that's the way they are at five guys. They were so greasy that they made us feel sick. We threw them away too. All for £45, total rip off. Won't be going back rather have a wrap from the supermarket.

I have visted Five Guys quite frequently throughout the years and always leave feeling satisfied. However me and the Mrs came in a few days ago and Connor recommend adding a patty for a little added fulfillment to my grilled cheese sandwich, I asked to add some bacon and some other toppings and safe to say that's probably now my top go to for a lighter meal! Always glad to see the staff know their way around the menu and keeping the place clean and tidy. Thank you again to Connor for the recommendation!

Absolute joke, driver delivered to the wrong address, was given no food or refund despite driving down to the resturant, also could not contact resturant prior to driving down there, both parties at fault and neither wanted to accepted the blame.

You always know you're in for a great quality burger at Five Guys, everytime I've been I've always been given a hot, juicy and fresh tasting burger. While there is no denying it's on the expensive side, there really is no beating that fresh burger taste you can't get at many other fast food burger places! I love the fact you can add as many or as little burger toppings as you like, and sauces are included in the price (as they should be!) The fries are so tasty, I only ordered a small but I could barely finish them they give out so many, definitely not complaining about that though! The milkshakes are also very good and definitely worth a try, even if they are almost £6 each! You could even have a bacon milkshake if you are daring enough, although I'd fully recommend the oreo! Staff were very friendly as well and although it does take a little longer to get your food than McDonald's for example, it is nice knowing your burger has been freshly made and being able to see it prepared infront of you! Overall, you're getting great food and a great service which is reflected in the price tag, but it is definitely worth a try if you haven't had it already!

Delicious as always from here. Pricy, but worth it for the much better quality food.

It’s nice I don’t mind it at all it’s way better then McDonald’s or Burger King only thing that’s an issue is it really is over priced but you get tuns of fry’s and the double bacon cheeseburger is delicious! But just that will run you £20
