Taco Bell in Chelmsford

Placed an order and just ad they got here they said they'd delivered and left with my food when I tried to phone the restaurant to speak to someone I rang 14 times with no answer

Food is ready very quickly and the staff are so cheerful and friendly when you are ordering. Small little issue, when I have come here, the toilet is frequently out of order

Food freezing cold absolute disgrace would not recommend

It was amazing. Came here for lunch and ordered. Cashier was especially friendly. Food was quick and delicious. Would definitely come back and highly recommend it. Only downside is I forgot to ask for her name. I got too excited and ate a piece of the quesadilla. IT WAS SO GOOD!

Manager was berating delivery driver when we came in. Went on for about 5 minutes and made the atmosphere really uncomfortable.

Rude member staff who served me very rushed and not polite at all or helpfull order not to what wanted wouldnt budge on helping at all by one member very impolite and no customer service !

Went there for the first time and was impressed with the speed of service and quality of the wrap and chips, I will certainly be visiting again

Ordered through Just Eat and waited over 2 hours for the cold food to arrive. The crispy chicken burrito (after being heatdd up by me) looked/tasted worse than the cheap McDonald's wrap. The delivery driver also tried to mug me off and say I had cancelled my order in order to keep my food. Avoid!!!

Staff are brilliant 👌 and the food is pretty good

First time coming here, it’s very quiet doesn’t seem to get packed I’ve walked by a few times before actually trying this place. It was okay wouldn’t be my go to👍

Went in to grab a bite to eat with family, wish we hadn't. Ordered our food, all set meals with expected refill drink - as its advertised. After we had paid the server said what can do you want as the refill machine is not working. I queried this stating we has paid for a set meals with expected refill drinks so will we be getting more than 1 can each. She advised no and that the machine was not working. She then got another colleague involved, unsure if she had any authority but she was incredibly rude. She said that we were informed at the start about the drink situation to which I advised she definitely did not mention this. We didn't get anywhere but whilst waiting for expected cans of drink, like a miracle, the refill drink machine suddenly started working and she said we could use it. I then asked for sauces and perhaps some napkins and she was so just so rude, slammed all the sauces down. I did advise her not to be so rude and to perhaps so a little respect. Not a very enjoyable meal to say the least, noone else was eating inside the store, many staff members doing nothing except for some reason dragging around tables and chairs repeatedly for no obvious reason.

Always out of stock of something, only a few drinks this time as the drinks machine wasn't working. Staff take orders for Coke and you're served Pepsi.

Avoid at all costs when using just eat, food never arrives yet you get charged. Disgusting service!

Ordered food of just East, driver arrived never contacted me waited for 2 minutes, then left. Driver marked it as delivered but drove off with my food. Shocking service from just eat and typically when me or my staff order from taco bell.

Simple but good. Quick service, competitive prices, good portions. Makes easy lunch or dinner choice. Ps. Could do with a little wipe across the tables. Not many people but had to look for clean one..

If you're a fan of Mexican food this is a great place to go - it's great value and I got some really good service.

Find it hard to believe you don’t answer the phone after calling several times, what’s the point of having one?

Decided to go Taco Bell we arrive there at 8.30/45 seeing that it closes at 9pm to be greeted to a locked door and people cleaning up chatting. I go to open the door and they sigal they are closed even though the signs state it closes at 9pm. Does not answer the phone, I would suggest amending the opening times or employ staff that decide not to lock up for an early finish

Quick preparation, good service, good eatery for on the go people, fast-food joint in city high street.

Good fast food restaurant with all the usual Mexican options. Can be used for a light meal as well as lunch/dinner. It is in the twin centre though with no free parking nearby.

Just now ordered their new chicken taco , nachos and burritos but I’m so disappointed as the food arrived little late but it’s acceptable being a bank holiday but it was cold . I am a big fan of Taco Bell but this the second time in a row and I would think twice before getting a home delivery

The chips haven't tasted as good as they used to for a few visits, then I noticed they are already mass bagged and kept warm rather than freshly fried. The Vulcano burrito still kicks a$$ though 👌

Go and try it! This is the Burger King of Mexican food. For a fast sit-down meal, the family always enjoy it here. The service at the counter is always very good to excellent. All requests are fulfilled with ease. It's also good value. I doubt it will impress you but if you like the food, you'll always consider it again for the future.

Chelmsford branch, manager, does not care that the just eat delivery driver delivered our food to a different address. Absolutely NO interest or empathy, just told to contact just eat. Didn't answer phone so I had to drive out to enquire and now just eat have our money and we have no food.

A member of staff repeatedly got my order wrong and then was extremely rude when I asked where the rest of my food was.

Food okay as always. But service last night was bad. Perhaps carefully chose who you decide to work the tills. Tbf, she might have had a bad day.

One of the worst places to eat tacos. Zambrero is a million times better. The service is as if they are doing it for charity. I asked them to make tacos veg. and they just put a few boiled beans and a sprinkle of cheese and gave it. Absolute rubbish. If you are a Vegetarian or a vegan avoid this place !

Food is always delicious and we like to come to this one the most as there is rarely a queue and you're always served fast. Dont think theyve ever got our orders wrong either.

Stopped by for a quick bite. On the upside, the taste of the burrito was good! But the portion size was very small, the eating area wasn’t clean at all, not to mention the amount of gum stuck under tables. Overall, wasn’t worth it.

Food was actually quite nice upon eating it, can’t really go wrong, typical take out food and it was nice enough when you’re hungry and tired from a day of shopping. Until I’ve been up most of the night clutching my gut in agony. Haven’t eaten anything else. I’m usually fine with other taco bells. The foods just not even close to being worth this pain. The place was dirty, unclean, sticky tables with food all over the floor. Shan’t go back thank you.

First time trying Taco Bell. The food was absolutely amazing!! I was expecting to be too spicy and unable for me to eat it. On the contrary, it was delicious!! The wraps are so delicious even on their own! Also really quite affordable. We had a proper dinner, 2 grownups, for only £13! And the lady who served us was really sweet and smiley. 🙂 We had it as takeaway, we only waited for it about 10 minutes. The only downside is no parking around. Either way, I cannot wait to have it again!! ☺️

Several times we have ordered. Never actually received delivery but food was delivered to someone else. Still no refund. Criminal.

Ordered online, only the drinks and cold chips arrived and a cold screws up quesadilla arrived the rest of the order was no where to be seen. When I tried to call the Taco Bell in Chelmsford they would not answer the phone and no refund or other solutions were offered .. DO NOT ORDER FROM TACO BELL IN CHELMSFORD!!!

The mild sauce served had the Taco Bell trademark on the package but it definitely was NOT the same sauce as served in the States. Any restaurant can make a good taco or burrito but the sauce makes the dish. I was truly disappointed with my visit.

It's a Taco Bell, not a lot you can say. The food was ready quick, tables were clean. Could maybe do with having a different way to let you know your order is ready. As when sitting in the server calls to the front and it is not very easy to hear. Maybe a board that put your order number up when ready for collection.

I ordered my Taco Bell food via JustEat. The food was tasty, hot on delivery and very reasonably priced. The Mexican fries are tastier than French fries.

I do not visit often but nice location clean and food good, certainly a change from burgers

Take away from here not worth having. Beef quesadilla not enough filling so really couldn't taste it and chicken taco the chicken was over powered by the flavour of lettuce. As for the churros .... not much thicker than a pencil and just chewy not as expected crisp on the outside and fluffy inside like a lighter version of a doughnut that chef rhapsodise about on tv. May try going to the restaurant one day but after that disappointment I won't rush

bad experience here a place where you are not allowed to take another table because we are a large group and they prefer to put it in a corner and that customers do not use it. and the floor all dirty. the waitress emma has very few manners I will not return

We use Deliveroo for Taco Bell maybe once a month, and every time there is something missing from the order. I think we have most probably lost about £15 in missing products. It’s a shame because the food is really nice! Just takes a second to check, it could be so easily avoided.

the best Taco bell I have been to is Chelmsford in comparison to the ones I have been too (Basildon, Lakeside and Southampton).

Staff were so lovely engaging and helpful. Restaurant was clean and well spaced out and food was quick and fresh

Been wanting to order from just eat on my lunch breaks for a while now. It was really nice but not going to be a regular thing, considering how cheap it is the delivery is pretty expensive, the churros were amazing and the hard tacos are small but they are good. I did however find a little black hair in my taco, I am far too pregnant and hungry to make a big deal out of it but I would double check hygiene standards in the kitchen maybe?!

The food is really good for the price you get it at, but the queuing outside because of COVID is very confusing as there are no markers so people just walk in without noticing that there is a queue.

It’s nice to see Taco Bell rolling across the UK. I hope they continue at pace as there really is a need for a good Mexican franchise across the UK Many people have commented on the staff and my experience was mostly positive except for one person who got stroppy with me because I took a photo inside the store and he thought it was a photo of staff. Other than that the service was quick and the food good although I found the portions a little small. There is seating - but not during the lockdown.

Was average best bit of the whole thing was the nacho cheese sauce I used to dip my chips into.
