McDonald's in Chelmsford

Ordered large chips and all were only half full and all food was cold

We ordered 3 meals from Macdonalds in west way , all 3 burgers and all the chips were freezing cold. And now they are trying to refund me £5.71 !! Are you serious each meal cost more than that, who makes these numbers up. Not happy.

Order took 2 hours. App said courier was there over hour. When delivery arrived courier said waited restaurant 15mins. Food was stone cold. Inedible, especially as feel been sat for nearly 2hrs and could now have been spoilt with bacteria

Ordered the food at 7pm it ended up coming at 9 pm and it was cold.

Ordered a share box that come with condiments (sauces) only for it to be delivered with not a single one out of 4. This McDonald's has been shight for some time now it's a joke. The most easiest job on this planet and they can never f get it right.

Early start drive through he asked at the window what do you want ! Rude and not paying attention missed two items from my order had to take a second payment for them . Got to second window asked the next guy are the two extra items in the bag he said yes and when I got back one was missing . Mac Donald’s you are now officially the worst at what you invented ! Well done .

Good McDonald's, but it's amazing that every customer must bring at least 2 cars for lunch. They need to find out who is using their car park, as it's hard for their own customers to park!

The Oasis was delivered in a cup while I expected it to be in a bottle. The delivery time was not necessarily late, but it took too long since I placed the order.

my sons got autism and is fussy with food asked for burger with just cheese and ketchup no pickes or onions and they literally ALWAYS mess it up 😞

Drinks had leaked everywhere, dripping out of the bag. Food was cold, was sent back with the driver, was told replacement would be delivered, but never turned up. Will not be ordering again!!

Parts of food missing along with a whole happy meal. Drink had spilled everywhere in the bag with milkshake and coke leaking all over the house. Food bag was ripped open and I didn’t wanna eat it as didn’t know why it was open and bits missing. I went to the McDonald’s where it was purchased and they said they would not replace it as it’s a just eats problem, so I had to pay for another order.

Live locally in Chelsmford and this place has really gone down since it opened. I’m not one of those people that complain if they leave pickles in the burger if I asked for them out or get upset when the milkshakes/ice cream machines aren’t working; but the general service both ok the food side and the customer service side is just terrible. I’ve used it many times coming home from work and I understand you’re getting what you pay for being it is McDonald’s (cheap, fast food) but the amount of times the person over the headset has got my order wrong is just ridiculous. Wrong burgers, no fries, wrong drink, trying to get me to pay for an order that wasn’t mine, the list is extensive. I can only assume that this place has been bought by a 3rd party franchise owner and this person just couldn’t care less about this location. Would try the McDonald’s closer to beaulie park if it’s on your way, don’t expect much from this place, and that’s harsh considering it’s McDonald’s.

After waiting nearly 2 hours from when I placed the order. It finally arrived as was an entire meal and a portion of fries. No impressed and want money back for this please!

This order was fine but another order got cancelled for fancy fry and i didn't get a refund basically you have stolen my money and i want it back please

Decided to eat in because it's always better. But it definitely wasn't. Stone cold burgers fries missing flat drinks that tasted of nail Polish remover. All the staff looked miserable. Never had a bad McDonald's until today.

The slowest fast food restaurant. Waited 25 mins for order and it took 3 different staff members before I received my order, obviously deliveroo get priority 🙄

So I ordered food from here last night at 9pm the order didn't arrive until 10. I ordered 1 big tasty meal with bacon 1 big mac 1 happy meal for my child all as well as a chicken share box with some free nuggets that came with the order. The fries were stone cold, the burgers were horrific, and the drinks were spilt in the separate bag the next day [today]. I am now suffering from diarrhoea. Inexcusable.

Got the wrong order. I ordered over £25 worth of food and I got delivered one chips and 2 cheese burgers. Abysmal!

Order through Deliverroo. Food was freezing cold. Called up Chelmsford Westway Mcdonalds. The manager was very rude. She said she refused to send us new food and refund us. She blamed the driver. Took driver 5 mins to get to us. She said that the food couldn't be cold from them.

Food arrived stone cold the cheese even in the burger wasn't even melted it was that cold. Chips were soggy and stone cold. requested refund and reason because it was cold and Just eat told me they are unable to refund me or compensate me on the ice block of food that I received

this probably won't go up but tell your staff to go back to little school so they can read and maybe country properly. missing items again.

massive thank you to the lovely red head girl in the drive through - so so so lovely and had the most genuine apology when we had to park up. I don't know her name but I hope this gets back to her - merry Christmas to you too :)

This store is one of the best McDonald's I have ever seen! Always clean and fast food provided. I have seen their customer service is one of the best 👌 On the day off normally o go with the family and best calm place to spend upstairs, it's huge space there and quiet environment! Definitely recommend you to ahbe a look!

Hash brown inedible and freezing mc muffin and cold coffee

Food arrived cold, following the driver's journey on the app he was going the scenic route along the A12 which he had no business driving along. There is a much quicker route through town. Driver couldn't find the address, claimed he phoned but I had no missed calls. He accused me of using the wrong number. Won't bother ordering again

Unreliable delivery service, missing items. Restaurant has low quality control (even for McD), burgers are often messy and it's not a good experience. Not recommended.

It shouldn't take 1hr15mins to get 3 items of food from McDonald's that is a 4minute drive away. It was not the couriers fault as he was at the restaurant waiting for a while. McDonald's need to get their act together as the food was cold when it arrived

photo one is what they tempt you with. The other two photos are the reality. I should report them to advertising standards. Sold a pup , misleading not even close. I would even go as far as to say a right pxxs take a liberty Just plain wrong, you should get what is advertised, not something that bares no resemblance .

Fine for a MacDonalds if you travel by car, but if you cycle the lockup is the smoking area. Seating was limited inside, with the cars outside wasn't something we fancied. Just meh.

I have written in my delivery notes to call my mobile when the delivery arrives. My home is difficult to find and the delivery drivers continuously disturb my neighbours because they do not read my notes. Please train your drivers.

Good space for parking and seating

Went for a McDonald's breakfast last Friday,via drive through. Had lovely chat with staff, but disappointed with my cappuccino as it was a little on the warm side not hot enough. Sausage and egg mcmuffin was worth it though.

This restaurant is closing for a couple of weeks for an upgrade re-opens 5th May, (try to make earlier)???. Saturday 7th may, thank god this place has re-opened, i missed the good atmosphere, great food and coffee, there appears to be new staff, they still look young enough to be at school but they are very polite and helpful asking do i need anything else etc. I like the new changes keep up the good work see you in the week. Back for breakfast cooked to perfection as usual. 27.11.2022 It pains me to say this restaurant is going down hill, today I waited 25 minutes for a black coffee and mini waffles to be delivered to the table when it arrived the waffles were cold, so I had to wait 10 minutes for more, this place is operated using kids with no apparent interest in working or being helpful. One of the girls knocked a cup of coffee on the floor, the lid didn't come off so she picked it up and put it with the other coffees for someone to have, this kind of practice must never happen again, come on management please get it sorted.
