McDonald's in Chelmsford

Really nice place, and their food was awesome. The chips were hot and crispy. Nice and tasty meal. I will definitely recommend this McDonalds 👌

A two story place with drive through and seating. Our device was quick and food was good. Had wrap of the day with fries and coke drink. Plus an apple pie.

Drive thru is a pain in the backside. Always get asked to park in the car park no matter how busy it appears to be. Once there wait times can be anything from 5 to 20 minutes and even then the food manages to arrive lukewarm. If you like milkshakes looks elsewhere, as I don't think I've ever known the machine to be working. Other than that it's awesome 👌.

Very bad service from a Indian/Pakistani woman wathever she is I been repeating what food I want and she didn’t care what I was saying and I asked her if she listened what I was saying and I went to the window where she asked me why I am rude and she won’t serve me and this is not the first experience with her even when she serve the food at the window all the time she even doesn’t give me the drink or the chips . I don’t recommend at all going there after 10pm when she’s working

The delivery driver was lost. And then refused to bring the order to me as he was driving and waiting for so long . I have freezing cold food and my drink spilled

On this visit it was okay despite there being 6 restaurants located here now there all about the same.

First my discount deal didn’t work, so I asked politely why it could be, got serving only said he doesn’t know, I asked if I could ask manager the same thing, I was completely ignored, he didn’t call, manager didn’t show. Food was rather cold, maybe because I asked for brown sauce which could be less popular than ketchup, but not all bad. The ketchup from the condiments station wasn’t the same one other McD restaurants are using, absolutely different flavour, no sweetness, very sour, probably some cheap substitute.

Originally was told it would be here between 6:40-7:10 it ended up arriving at 7:50 . My order said they couldn’t find a driver to deliver the food. I waited almost an hour and a half as I ordered it around 6:20pm.

I came to this mcdonald’s with my friend who is severely deaf and she couldn’t hear what the workers were saying and they were giving her weird faces and being rude. will not be coming back here again. They are discriminating deaf people in 2025? seriously? Disgusting behaviour! They should be ashamed.

On February 21, 2025 at 10:10 I went through the drive-thru to order a Happy Meal and a burger meal. They asked us to park in the waiting bay because they would bring my order out to us. I waited for more than 20 minutes, but no one came to deliver the order. Eventually, I went inside to ask about it, and the staff had put my order aside and forgotten about it. I ordered a Happy Meal with a toy, but I ended up receiving a book instead. My kids were also disappointed. Additionally, they did not provide any napkins for the drive-thru takeaway order, which is completely unacceptable. Customer service-wise, the lady who took my order was very helpful, but the overall experience was disappointing.

Just wanted to shout out the amazing service i received from a Liam, what a kind young man, he was very helpful at the kiosk and even provided me with milk when over staff members ignored me and told me there wasn’t any available. made me feel much better and brought our food over very quickly. Promised delivery for 1930, at 1910 got a message “courier at restaurant”, which reminded unchanged for 30 minutes. As I had to go out at 1950, tried to ring the restaurant 5 times, but didn’t get a reply. At 2000 got a call on my mobile, to say courier was trying to deliver food. Clearly id already gone out, he kept asking for a delivery code, but I refused to give it, as no doubt the system would then say, I’d receive my food

Only time this place is good is right early in the morning when the nice older ladies are working. They can’t keep track of the drive through, it’s one of those split ones and instead of doing it right they’ll skip you and do 2 in the same lane sometimes. Waste of time. They also can’t seem to put a burger together for the life of them. Always sloppy. I’m not coming here anymore, too many chances, and9/10 times they don’t even understand you so you get the wrong order or they miss stuff. Get a grip.

The chips and nuggets were fresh. Place was clean. Comfy seats upstairs. No milkshakes available and thats what i wanted to order. They gave the wrong iced drink. Slow service even though not very busy. Nice children's play area.

Good McDonald's, but it's amazing that every customer must bring at least 2 cars for lunch. They need to find out who is using their car park, as it's hard for their own customers to park!

The Oasis was delivered in a cup while I expected it to be in a bottle. The delivery time was not necessarily late, but it took too long since I placed the order.

Parts of food missing along with a whole happy meal. Drink had spilled everywhere in the bag with milkshake and coke leaking all over the house. Food bag was ripped open and I didn’t wanna eat it as didn’t know why it was open and bits missing. I went to the McDonald’s where it was purchased and they said they would not replace it as it’s a just eats problem, so I had to pay for another order.

Live locally in Chelsmford and this place has really gone down since it opened. I’m not one of those people that complain if they leave pickles in the burger if I asked for them out or get upset when the milkshakes/ice cream machines aren’t working; but the general service both ok the food side and the customer service side is just terrible. I’ve used it many times coming home from work and I understand you’re getting what you pay for being it is McDonald’s (cheap, fast food) but the amount of times the person over the headset has got my order wrong is just ridiculous. Wrong burgers, no fries, wrong drink, trying to get me to pay for an order that wasn’t mine, the list is extensive. I can only assume that this place has been bought by a 3rd party franchise owner and this person just couldn’t care less about this location. Would try the McDonald’s closer to beaulie park if it’s on your way, don’t expect much from this place, and that’s harsh considering it’s McDonald’s.

After waiting nearly 2 hours from when I placed the order. It finally arrived as was an entire meal and a portion of fries. No impressed and want money back for this please!
