McDonald's in Chelmsford

If 0 was a option that would be too much for this establishment.Dreadful service i experienced this morning waited in total 20 mins for food with no apology so i got refunded. Not the first time i've experienced poor service from this branch! AVOID IT OR BE DISAPPOINTED

Was not delivered to me whatsoever.

Food luke warm, drinks incorrect

I am a very athletic male and I just ran around a 7 a side football pitch for an hour in 2 degrees of weather, all I wanted on my drive home was a cheeseburger to quench my hunger. My friend and I went through the drive through and it was quick we were happy however I opened my burger in the car and took a bite. To my horror the staff in the kitchen decided a cheese burger was bread ketchup cheese and bread. How can a proffesional chef at a fine establishment such as McDonald’s make a cheese burger and decide to not put beef in the burger. As I mentioned in an athletic man I need the meat in my burger to grow and for gains. I will never attend this McDonald’s again. The end xoxo

It was lovely, apart from I ordered happy meal with a toy ( my little boy is in hospital) and we got a book. Thank you

There was a hair my my burger. Within my burger. (I have short hair, this hair was long!)

When ordered I was told 30 minutes, waited an hour and 10 minutes in the end, not happy with that at all

A well placed and efficient Mac d's, the only let down would be the size of the carpark, on a busy weekend day you won't be getting a space.

Just a regular McDonalds close the Colchester. Not much to say. They don't have a speaker or some system to let you know when the order is ready. I think all fast-foods should have one. The cleanliness overall was a 3.5 out of 5.

always something missing and as its a regular thing just eat don't Always refund

Staff are always great. Some have been here forever and really know their stuff There is a lady called Jo, one called Queenie and a person called M. They always remember me and make me feel welcome. M specifically remembers my order. That’s a first for these places. THANKS SO MUCH. My order is a bit quirky but there is no judgement.

Short staffed the day I went, and the restaurant was empty. Never the less, the food was fast, hot, and my order was correct. Clean and modern

delivery kept changing but I think they were busy. Big mac was cold and not nice. Çhips and apple pie were hot.

Probably the 2nd slowest maccers in Chelmsford. Always have to wait in parking bay 2. Standard food, which is good.

Cold time midnight order wait to out side until nobody see it’s not fear … Chelmsford have more McDonald..they don’t have like this …request to McDonald who have good heart and this about this cold out side ..and minimum open front door thank you 🙏 food delivery driver handy new year

Ordered because it said 25 mins to deliver. Ended up taking 2+ hours

the way the food came was appalling the burger was all over the place too much ketchup and it looked like the person who did it didn't want to be their was absolutely app

Waited 15 minutes in queue of drive through and nothing moved. Reversed out and left in the end

Hit & miss when getting your order right, not acknowledged in the drive thru when busy & long wait for the food, well thats my experience.

Standard McDonalds experience, nothing exceptional, although staff worked hard to accommodate everyone's needs.

Do not expect fast service on the drive thru, paid for chips and coke, got given the coke and told to wait in bay 1 for a couple of minutes, waited 10 minutes in bay one and nothing, got fed up waiting and drove off, last time I’m using that place

To the McDonaldian here who puts the lid on coffee cups - do you intentionally break the lids so hot coffee leaks all over unsuspecting customers ?

So disappointing each time I order, even on the drive through, orders are not correct! Deliveries always miss a key part - usually the main burger! Not sure whether it is a lack of skill by staff or deliberate under delivery!! Get better please!

Went there this morning was completely ignored by the staff at the restaurant even though I was standing there at the counter waiting for almost 5 minutes, all I wanted was ketchup for my mc muffin. Got back to my food and it was cold . They was even ignoring other customers and delivery drivers aswell. Really badly managed and too laid back for a fast food restaurant.

Bad experience on drive through. Made payment then got to second window where we were asked to pay again as it had been declined. Not been declined at all, we were showed a receipt that clearly didn't say declined and were told a number of times it had been. We showed the manager our bank statement on a mobile app and was told we would get the food. 10mins later got our food no apology at all. Very poor service.

It's a macdonalds, it does exactly what is says on the tin.

Once again not all delivered. They make you pay 10p for sauce and then never ever send it. How is it different from me walking in and taking something without paying. I personally would never use McDonald’s again but it’s the only breakfast the missus likes.

A Mighty McMuffin is not mighty with no bacon or cheese in it, it's just a sausage egg muffin. Hash browns were way over cooked

Guy was so friendly and kept quiet because it was late such a great driver!!

It’s a McDonalds! It not exactly nutritious food, but kids love it. Service is ok, but you are expected to use a kiosk to buy your food as there is rarely anyone at the counter. Atmosphere is ok, it’s a McDonalds so can’t really expect much! It will McDo for a quick after school treat!

Didn’t get my order or anything I paid for and I still have t for my refund back and wen I contact McDonald’s the manager was abusing me and shouting down the phone saying how she got kids working with her and they mess up orders that’s what her response and exscuse was for not send my preset and taking my money

The filthiest I've ever been too. Stacks of rubbish and food left for over half an hour whilst staff walked by. Fries were cold and Shake so solid had to swap it for a coke. Truly disgusting. And no, wasn't busy. Be ashamed.

We never received our meal!! It showed as delivered from restaurant but we haven’t received anything!! Please can this be rectified asap

I ordered a wrap with no tomatoes the label said no tomatoes but it still had tomato’s in the wrap. I also got a meal and didn’t get a drink i also ordered mozzarella dippers with salsa and got no salsa with it aswell as Everytime I’ve come here the milkshake machine is never working. Staff were friendly though

As usual considering the McDonald’s is 5min at a push away, I don’t have transport and ordered this as it’s close, but yet again stone cold. I’d love to say it was enjoyable but it wasn’t. I only ordered a McDonald’s tonight as my little boy had a ton of homework which we’ve now caught up on but I hadn’t cooked and bought this to save time and buy this as a treat (as he likes McDonald’s, and chose this) eat and go to bed. Just for what it costs now with the delivery fee and stuff is appalling.

Usual McDonald's setup. WiFi was good. Toilets are clean and tidy. I do wish they changed the staggered automatic doors that all McDonald's have though, they do frustrate me. Other than that all good.

On the route to the Airport I ordered a chilly crispy wrap and medium fries. Surprisingly arrived very well heated, grilled, tasty, very generous portion and sooo fresh. Yummy. Only one drawback... wrap could do with a better wrapping at the thinner end, so that contents remains inside :-)

My son has issues with eating and will only eat Safe foods.. plain McDonald's double cheeseburger being one of them. Today we ordered a plain double cheeseburger and while my son was eating it he mentioned he thinks there's onion in it and when I looked you could clearly see around 5-6 prices of onion like they had scraped the majority out and then wrapped it up! The burger smelt of onion very strongly too.. beware if you have allergies luckily my son got another one personally made by the manager and he managed to eat it but this is absolutely disgusting!

Was ok, food took awhile, seemed as though there was a lot of staff laughing and joking and not much happening with the orders, but was ok when it arrived typical Mcds.

The nuggets taste like they keep them for a year in this oil , don't get me started on burger you have to chew it like bike tube

I reckon they close their eyes when bagging up the food, 5 wrong items delivered this time, constantly missing or wrong items. Easiest job in the world reading a receipt and putting the correct items in the bag and they still struggle. Food cold and undercooked. Shocking stuff.

Got to be the worst McDonald's I have ever been to, terrible service and long delays.

Had a McSpicy meal, and opened the box only to find out it had no bottom bun. Was going to make a complaint but figured that fast food workers have a lot to deal with on a day to day, plus the McSpicy was actually tastier without the bottom bun.

The delivery drive telephoned me to say he couldn't deliver the order because he was too far away in chelmsford. He said he would ensure a refund which I didn't get, so I have contacted Just Eat to sort out.

food ordered food was cold ordered feed the family deal with burgers and fries. and missing all the fries off the order. hopefully gets sorted will see kids are not happy with their cold burger said meal.....

was given the wrong flavor milkshake, fries were cold and no rich tomato dip with cheese sticks. surprised fries were cold due to early delivery.

I can't rate the food cause I didn't get any, least they forgot mine this time instead of the kids....why offer a service then have kids that don't care do the job these places are a joke

Went in it McDonald’s and it was raining so I let my daughter stand outside the little bit with the roof to stoop her getting wet form the rain and we had a little sausage dog with us and a McDonald worker man shouted saying get ur dog out of the store in like trying ot give it the bigone to me and my daughter outside the shop and I said to him what did u say and he said nothing what I thought was so rude considering it was rainy u guys might be reading this thinking I’m a Karen but this is my first review I’ve ever wrote on my shared acc with my daughter I was so embarrassed

Ice cold missing items. Live a few mins away and the food may as-well travelled Clapham to Chelmsford would have been hotter.

I have never given an entirely 1 star review, but this is deserved. Me and my family came in and ordered on the machines. We got back to our food, no sauces, no problem, so I go up and ask for sauces. I waited around 6, 7 minutes. Got the sauces. But she gave me the wrong one, and carelessly. It sounds careless when I say this, but no eye contact or expression or speech, just grabbed any sauces she saw and dropped it out. Had to wait even longer, then I was done. Got back to my food and sat down on the cold, hard benches, in which the entire place was cold. The food looked terrible, and it was. I like McDonalds, but this was not it. Save your time and money and go to another McDonalds or resteraunt, trust me.

Really busy car park, food is ok but seemed overly greasy even for McDonald's and the staff all seemed miserable and unfriendly.
