McDonald's in Chelmsford

all my hash browns were missing i ordered 7 of them

Great delivery. Tried to leave a tip but it won’t let me. Much thanks to the driver!!!

I avoid this branch for long periods at a time because every time I use them, they’re just hopeless. Got chicken nuggets tonight that were barely warm and yet again no barbecue sauce provided. There is nothing difficult about supplying the sauce which has been requested by the Customer. An occasional mistake is totally understandable, but this is a pattern with this branch!!! one off isbut this is something they do repeatedly. I just don’t get it and it’s really annoying.

driver ignored all instructions to not ring door bell as everyone was asleep, when he arrived i asked him to be quick as my dog was going off as he was anxious and going to wake everyone up. he then continued to still be very slow and completely not understanding. i didn’t appreciate it he also wasn’t extremely easy when he phoned as he said i was easy to find and couldn’t find the way to my house in any way even after i told him where he was.

What is it about McDonald Drive Throughs? Do they have expired food that is lukewarm warm that they can’t sell in the restaurant so they give it to drive through customers who are unlikely to return? The fries were cold the burger was like warm. Not just this McD’s but the majority of drive throughs.

Delivery was good but person who packaged the food and drink for the delivery person didn’t put the lid on properly so the drink spilt everywhere.

Staff were very Friendly, professional and courteous.Food was Fresh and Place was very Clean. Plenty of Parking in the Parking Lot. Handicap spots available for persons with disabilities.

It was all stone cold, not the first time this has happened to be fair

Delivery driver was extremely rude. Had spilt the drinks slightly and split the bag, offered no apologies. I approached him friendly with a smile and was left with nothing but rudeness.

Very busy on a Saturday during school holidays

Placed my order at around 7:08. By the time it arrived it was gone 9pm. Food was cold and completely messed up in the back, drink was not secure and had been spilt. Worst place ever

Omar served me and he was really helpful and informative when I asked him about allergies, that guy needs a promotion. He's rather good looking too ;)

By far the worst McDonalds in Chelmsford, used to live nearby for years and they’re always really slowly (15 mins plus) preparing orders. Went in tonight and ordered a wrap and a burger, after waiting for 20 mins asked if anyone was serving as they staff seemed to be hiding in the kitchen, only to get an attitude from the little polish woman working there who rather than say “sorry for the long wait, let me sort that out for you” decided to straight away get confrontational and say “how can I sort it out if you only just told me” as if it was somehow my fault that they didn’t have the food ready within 20 mins because I didn’t ask them where it was earlier! Clearly if you don’t ask then they don’t bother making your order! Another guy was having a similar experience, and the woman just got in a mood when getting the food and didn’t say anything after that. Never again, I’ll drive further to Chelmer village, Boreham interchange, A131, anywhere but this place, it’s been years and they’re still terrible

The delivery time was good but the order was wrong, I ordered a breakfast roll with ketchup & no egg with extra everything & no egg but received a muffin

very nice 👌 when i walked in to order the smell was so inviting and the most important thing it was clean especially the toilet

It would have been nice if the coffee stayed in the cups. Maybe putting the lids on correctly would of helped

A lot of shops near and the mc flurries are amazing expecially the quality of the caramel mc flurries

Lovely fresh hot food, courier was very polite and on time.

when I got my order my large coke was half full as it was split on delivery not happy out of pocket again

Me and my friend found a table for 4. It was only us 2 at the time, it was a busy day so people had to shuffle around (which is fair) but she moved us and we explained to her that there was 4 and the other 2 are getting the food, but she cramped the 2 of us on to a single table with one seat. When other 2 found us we couldn’t all sit together so we went downstairs and waited for someone else to finish their food before we could sit down. Chips were dry and too salty, we asked for one ketchup and they wouldn’t give it to us.

It was very nice food, but my delivery driver did not ring my doorbell and not so he had to call me because I didn’t know he was here but overall it was a very good experience

Coming after 2 hours and very cold, it’s not the driver fault, just the McDonald’s,because keep the food there ready prepared, it’s a seacond time when coming very cold 👎👎👎👎

Food was cold, my drink was spilled all over the bag.

1: we told staff about no toilet roll, 10 mins later no sign, so I kicked off as staff didn't care, the manager was hidden in the kitchen when I shouted where is the manager. My 10 year daughter shouldnt wait for basic thing like this, my partner went in and said tampons on the floor, totally unacceptable. 2: staff should have hair nets under health and safety standards under uk law. The directors need to train staff. 3: my burger tasted like tomatoe sauce and massive onions, as I was telling them about the toilets another person complained about too much sauce, it was swimming. The bun was moving all over the place, the person making burgers should be sacked. Im so disappointed about this basic level of food hygiene and basic stock levels. I think the incompetent manager and shift manager with big hair beard without netting should be sacked. I visited here as a treat for my daughters 10th birthday after ice skating. Really disappointed after spending over £35.

Must be the slowest McDonald’s in the world. Takes 20-30 minutes to get through drive-thru even when only one or two cars in front of you. And yet somehow food is still cold despite the long wait.

Waited over an hour for our food to be delivered, dips I had PAID FOR not included ans a portion of fries missing from meal too

Good food. Called in today for lunch, ordered via the machine couldn’t have table service for some reason so had to queue up but didn’t wait to long for food. Order was correct and all tasted fresh, chips were hot and fresh. When it came to clearing up after our food, bin was full and member staff just walked past watching me trying to squeeze it in, but at least she was keeping the tables clean for the next visitors. Overall good and what you expect from McDonald’s.

I ordered the food at 12:05 and it says it will be delivered to me withi 25-30 mins but I got my order late after 1 hour and after that the food was cold, terrible experience!!

You can technically buy a salad from maccie D's. You don't HAVE to buy food chemically preserved by people unperturbed by a burger that lasts 4 years in the wild.

Didn’t get half our food. Went down to McDonald’s riverside to see if it was there fault. Food was weighed and left McDonald’s as the right order so your driver took it out and ate it.

Couldn’t find a driver so waited well over an hr

I have avoided Riverside for a very long time because I always find them hopeless. Used them again last night-food was cold and not one sauce provided - which is one of the reasons I stopped using them before! It’s really not rocket science.. some food such as chicken nuggets should come with the sauce. I have no idea why this particular branch is so sloppy, but I will be avoiding them in future again.

The cheese balls were not delivered to me and I have the same problem with the sauces again.

My food is freezing cold as Mac Donald’s made it at 6.20pm it then gets delivered at 8.22pm I’ve waited almost 3 hours

I got served pretty quick which was very unlikely of a McD. Maybe because it was a bit late in the day but whatever it be. They were good.

Very unhappy with my service today. Hardly any staff were around and I had an extremely long wait...20 minutes! for a orange juice, mc muffin and a hash brown. They told me to wait in bay 1 and when my food FINALLY arrived the hash brown was stone cold, the mc muffin was missing the egg and sausage. Rubbish service! Do not recommend.
