It's a bit far, but we wanted to see the items before we purchased them. Lots of choices. There were toilets, lifts, parking, and a cafe. We had our lunch there. They have vegetarian options too, would be nice if they can write the ingredients as well. Over all we had a nice family time and we saw lots of options and ideas for our new home.

Avoid this IKEA! The car park is full of aggressive beggars...who harass you the moment you get out of your car.. and again when you leave the store. This has happened on every single visit I've made to this store. We reported it to "security" but he just smiled and nodded and did nothing about it. Rather than do anything he just suggested we go to customer service and file a report. I have a better idea. I'll just never come to this store ever again! Aside from the beggars, the toilets in this store absolutely reek of urine. Our last trip to this store was so incredibly unpleasant it will remain our LAST VISIT....EVER.

Probably some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Asked multiple workers for help carrying a mirror onto my trolley, but was told no. Then waited at customer service to ask for help, to then be told this is a “self serve” ikea and they don’t help with those things. I asked if they could make an exception because I am alone and can wheel it out myself, and he laughed at me. Then after having a fellow patron offer his help, I then went to pay for the home delivery service, to then be charged and not given a label from the printer. Of course, there is not a human in sight, and the first one I could speak to told me I had to wait in the queue at the returns desk. I have now been waiting at customer service for 30 minutes to receive a label, while only 3 desks out of 8 are open to help. You can tell the ppl who work here are miserable and have no desire to show kindness.

Recently moved home and bought a number of items, ordered double of a wardrobe as online said unavailable so ordered a second wardrobe. I needed to return one.. and here begins the problem! Called on the 21st Oct and was told 28th is the nearest collection date. On the 28th waited all day.. I called at 5:45pm and was told collection could be upto 10pm, that’s a day waiting at home. Surprise no collection! Called back on the 29th was told the usual apology and the van wasn’t big enough so therefore no collection just like that, but was promised it would be picked up on the 5th November! Get a call on the 3rd to confirm collection and to confirm the wardrobe is dismantled - it’s still in its boxes as delivered no dismantling needed. 4th November get a text just like that a simple text to say collection is the 12th of November!!! Called customer service their response we don’t know why? The store is at fault and they can’t do anything nor give me a name or number but they will send an email to the store but collection is supposedly on the 12th. Here I am waiting, does ikea care that I have a disabled person at home and this is making my home unsafe. Well done 👏 ikea Wembley! quite frankly I’d like my refund that ikea is currently holding! I still need items for my home but I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.

My recent visit to IKEA Wembley was great overall. The store layout was well-organized, with inspiring room setups and clear signage, making it easy to find items. The furniture and decor selection were extensive, and there’s a great variety for different styles and budgets. Staff were helpful, especially in the self-service area, and checkout was efficient. I enjoyed a stop at the cafe, for some classic Swedish meatballs, which was a nice bonus. Only downside is that weekends can get crowded, so navigating the aisles takes a bit more time. All in all, it’s a convenient spot for quality, affordable home goods.

From the cashier to the customer service has a "not my problem" attitude which is honestly worse than your budget friendly local supermarket shelf stackers. It's too long winded to explain but I wasn't even returning anything, I was buying! I feel sympathy for the people who need to return anything to this branch. As for food, "ran out" of kids pasta? I'm sorry? How does that work? Clearly individual franchises choice for a money making scheme as I've never heard of this in any other branch. We ate with spoons and a knife in the end because again, they seem to have "ran out", ended up queues of people at the cutlery area for a fork. I've seen it more busy and packed in other sites and never had this problem. There's unlimited amount of supplies in the market place area downstairs if you're low. I've been to most of the ikea's in the south and this one is ranked last. I honestly cannot wait until AI replaces these type of "services". If you're going to give a rubbish "experience" you may aswell take the human element out.

It had been a while since I visited an IKEA, and I was quite surprised by the noticeable decline in both quality and upkeep across the store. Here’s a summary of my experience: Showroom Conditions: I visited on a relatively quiet Friday afternoon to have a more relaxed experience, but I noticed that the showroom quality has significantly degraded. From the bedrooms to bathrooms, there was an evident lack of care and attention, with some items visibly worn or in need of replacement. Mattress Testing: I specifically went to try out a mattress but was shocked to find it in a poor state—visibly dirty and unsuitable for a showroom setting. It was disappointing and far from the standard I’ve come to expect from IKEA. Product Quality: The quality of various items, especially bed linens and similar essentials, has also declined. The materials seemed noticeably lower in quality than what IKEA used to offer, which is disappointing for someone who previously appreciated the store’s offerings. Overall, the experience has left me hesitant to visit IKEA stores in the future. If I need anything, I’ll likely consider ordering online rather than visiting the store in person. It’s truly a pity to see this decline in what was once one of my favourite stores. I hope this feedback helps in any way and that IKEA takes steps to restore the quality and customer experience that made it so popular.

Typically love an IKEA, always good in every branch across the country but this branch in particular had experienced a minor issue at the end of my visit here. I bought some bits and bobs just like any human being then I was walking towards the exit with my dad until the security guard stopped me and done a random bag search and wanted to check my receipt because he thought I had taken some meatballs and ice cream. Number 1) I don’t like ice cream and I used to like the meatballs from IKEA but my tastebuds had changed since so not a fan on them so why would I want to take something I won’t even eat? Number 2) I never went into the food market stall at the end which is where the ice cream and meatballs would have been if I wanted to buy them. Number 3) There was staff members that literally watched me pay for all of my items and not a single piece of it was food related. It was incredibly random and strange but thankfully he noticed that I never even touched the meatballs and ice cream. I get a security guard needs to do their job but it was so obvious that I wouldn’t have gone to even pick up and view these food items as I wasn’t in the area! On a positive note, it’s still a good IKEA to go to with a good selection but be warned of the security guard! I would be careful near him…

Layout is consistent with IKEA' s stores yet felt like this was a larger site. My visit was to verify my shortlisted pieces to arrive at the final list. In my opinion, it was definitely worth the visit. Some of them were deprived of quality while most of them were of superior quality, from what I imagined from the app. Overall, even if I didn't like something I always found a much better alternative.

Busy at anytime ikea in north London. The trip there is traumatic as it’s London drivers. Very busy car park and parking usually ends up in the multi storey as the car park on ground level is always full. Food ok, little pricey for what it is. I just wish there was English wording on the shop items in the market place as you have to literally guess what an item does or is sometimes.

IKEA is fine, just please be warned there is a man in a Range Rover outside the ‘customer service and returns’ exit asking ladies if they need a mini cab. I checked my phone after saying no and realised there is no signal in that area as well. Be careful! I tried to call the IKEA but of course I just keep getting referred to a chat bot. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Going through the 1 star reviews, I see Adams name mentioned a few times, and I completely understand why! He clearly seems to get a kick out of making the customer experience as awful as it could possibly be. His delusions of grandure have him believing that he's something more than just a little boy on a till, while in reality I think this is known as "small man syndrome". When I showed my frustration, he said "you're just another customer", showing his lack of respect and professionalism... I contacted IKEA complaints and they credited me for my items, and also offered a voucher for the terrible service I received... If anyone has had the displeasure of dealing with Adam in returns, I strongly suggest contacting complaints and logging it with them... they are very helpful and empathetic, and actually compensate for the incompetence and lack of professionalism demonstrated by their ridiculous staff!! As for Adam... from reading the other reviews, he's ready for the dustbin 🗑

I’m so disappointed and regrate why did I purchase OVEN from IKEA. I bought OVEN from IKEA in May 2024, and I found out the OVEN faulty. I called IKEA and advised me to wait for engineer to see the exact fault. Waiting for engineer for a week after the inspection we told the OVEN need to be replaced. We must wait for month to exchange the OVEN nothing happened. I called IKEA to see when they going to replace the OVEN, I been told to wait for a week to receive the delivery, but nothing happened. We called IKEA again to find out the delivery I been told over the phone, you should have your OVEN why didn’t they delivered and asked me are you available tomorrow so we can deliver, and I said yes please do so, I waited the whole day nothing happened. I called IKEA again to find out and I been told to wait until 7 October to receive your delivery. Today is 11 October and I have not received my delivery yet, so I called them and they said sorry we doo not have the item in stook you need to wait until 18 October once we receive the item in stook then call back. Can’t believe IKEA is unreliable to keep you wait for 4 months for OVEN which you need it for your daily routine. I wonder why they can’t just say we don’t have it and please arrange somewhere else simple.

Harvey, the legend of IKEA Wembley, deserves all the stars and a standing ovation! As the store was about to close, Not only did he arrange delivery for us (seriously, he saved us from playing furniture Jenga in the car), but he went above and beyond to make sure every single item was delivered on time. Harvey didn’t just stop there—he took extra time to sort out all our inventory, making sure nothing was missing or misplaced. He makes things happen, even when the clock’s ticking. IKEA is like IKEA - anywhere and everywhere. The clever layout which forces one to go through every department, is marketing psychology at its cleverest! It would be presumptuous of me to pass judgement about the items on sale - they do not need any certification froma casual visitor like me. But they certainly could give this suggestion a thought about soemthing else that IS presumptuous: This is IKEA in London, with a cosmopolitan crowd speaking over 100 different languages. Of which Swedish is without doubt a minute percentage. All the staff wear T-shirts with "HEJ" written at the back. Even if my informed guess that this is Swedish for "Hey" or "Hi", it is rather impudent, (bordering on the arrogant) on the part of IKEA. Is it such a huge issue to have an English Translation also inscribed on the T-Shirts? IKEA uses a clever term for relected, returned or otherwise seconds goods: They have a separate section euphemistically labelled "Resell and Reuse" or some such!

Purchased two mattresses and bed frames. Before I even took delivery the price on the mattresses dropped. Asking multiple times for a price adjustment I was refused unless I either brought them back to the store to return and re-buy or pay for pick up and re-delivery, which would cost more than the discount. A UK-only policy as according to Ikea's US you can do a price adjustment no problem. Customer service was zero help and wouldn't budge. This is wasteful, unfriendly to customers, and unreasonable. You can do better Ikea!

I have been to many IKEA stores in my life. This is the most dirtiest and broken one of all. I will never come back. The lemonade fountain broken everywhere, the beds covered in black filth, the food disgrace, no option of tea, the mugs broken or chiped to you can cut your self. People unhelpful and not enough stock. The pillows section looked like someone ran sacked through it like a tornado.

The whole visit was ruined by the system now in place, rather that taking the items you want to purchase from the store area, you now have to pay for them then go to the collection area to collect them, sounds ok but after an hour & 10 min wait we didn’t think so!!! All we were waiting for was one small table. Eventually we managed to speak to a lovely man called MARTIN who thankfully took charge of the situation and got the matter sorted. If it wasn’t for him we would still be there waiting while others came and went with their orders. MARTIN thank you so much for your help!!

The store and floor staff were good. However, the cafe staff and food were terrible. Cafe food serving staff not very friendly and quite rude. The meatballs and mash were barely lukewarm and all the lemon wedges on the smoked salmon salad looked as though each one had been sucked of its juices and placed back onto the plate. Otherwise, it cannot be explained how else it could look the way it did. The experience here has definitely put us off from eating here again. Worst Ikea cafe we’ve been to. Ikea Wembley should look at retraining their cafe staff.

Went there a month ago with a friend how was buying2 sitting room cabinets and table and chairs.picked out what she liked. Went to the cheque out to get thim deleverd.told her they was some parts of the cabinets missing and they wouldn't be in until 2 weeks She said that would be fine so she wanted to pay for thim and they wouldn't take it and said come back when they are here to pay for thim so we went back in 2weeks To pay for thim first they said they weren't in thin they said they were in When she said she got a email from the head office that they were deleverd to wembly store.thin they said they couldn't delever to w6 She asked why they couldn't answer her so my self and a another bloke went there on Monday to pick them up.after walking true the mase and getting to where you pick thim up we asked a meber of staff where they were to make it bluntly he was like a dog to us he said to look at the numbers So eventually we worked it out and got thim we put thim into the van when we got home we saw that 2 panels were damaged so we have go hoe back there again it looks like a fork lift done the damage Wish us look one of the worst place I.ever went shopping to think hard before you goe there

I bought a bed which was supposed to be in 2 boxes, however I could find only one pack on the shelves and went to where the bed polls were and collected that thinking it was the second box. Following day opened the pack and it was only the headboard and the footboard the side panels were missing, so I called Ikea customer Service and they confirmed Ikea Wembley didn't have box 2 as they were out of stock but Ikea Milton Keynes had the Item and I could go there and show my receipt and collect the box 2. However when I got to the customer Service Milton Keynes the next day they said as I've purchased the item from Wembley branch, I have to go there and make a complaint and this was going to take 5 days to check their cameras and will refund the money. So I bought a bed from Ikea Milton Keynes where the packs were clearly packed. This morning I wanted to return the item I bought from them, the lady at the counter was helpful and she knew what she was doing however the Supervisor lady checked the camera and she said that she could see that I had taken both items and she was not going to refund me the money. I asked if I could see the camara clip but I was refused as per company policy, so I said to them that I'll be reporting this and for them to keep the pack as I didn't want it. They eventually refunded but the Supervisors attitude was very poor, hence the whole story. I have had a very bad experience and the the Customer service from the Supervisor was not good at all.

Great store but the shopping experience is absolutely ruined by the collection experience. Bought something in the store still waiting for over an hour after checkouts at the collection point. Shame on IKEA. Around 30 - to 40 or maybe more people sitting and standing around waiting to collect.

Very unprofessional staff behavior when checking my shopping receipt, even though I’d already scanned all items and spent over hundreds pounds on the day. I still felt unwelcome even though spending hundreds pound there and as though I was being treated like a shoplifter, and I didn’t see them to check others at the same time and I made me feel embarrassed in the public. Absolute ridiculous!

Recently management made changes to the food menu. Essentially they have taken away any flexibility in the meals. Meatballs are now only served with mash. Salmon is only served with couscous. So if you have any food intolerance you could not substitute say couscous for chips. The lifts are always out of order. The toilets are filthy. Overall a tired looking store in serious need of refurbishment and rethinking about customer centred service.

TRAIN YOUR STAFF IN CUSTOMER SERVICE Not sure if this review would even be considered but here it is! I had a great experience with IKEA's products, but the customer service was awful. I bought a cupboard and, since I’m not great with assembly or don’t have the right tools, I asked about delivery and assembly services, fully prepared to pay for it. Instead of helping, the staff member decided to insult me in front of my friends, saying, “Even a 6-year-old can fix it,” then started laughing. Well, unless that 6-year-old is also a bodybuilder who can lift heavy furniture, I highly doubt it. Talking to customers like that is unprofessional, especially when we're just trying to figure things out. Not really happy after insulting a customer.

IKEA in Wembley have decided to take away the option for fries or Mash with their meatball dish both for adults and children forcing you to pay for fries if you want them.. They have also neglected to fix the soda machine which has been out of order for over a month. What used to be an affordable meal with choice has now become a terrible experience squeezing every penny out of it’s customers… BAD FORM IKEA WEMBLEY

Everything as you'd expect. I usually go to the Tottenham branch but now it's shut down, Wembley is my closest store. It was annoying that I had to wait 30 minutes for a door to go with my chest. On special order or something.

Good experience. Easy to Navigate. Lots selection. The cashier was incompetent. She rang up sale items at full price. We had to get a refund online as we didn’t realise until we got home.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered a picture frame click and collect on Thursday and went to collect it the next day. I waited over an hour and still my order hadn't even been picked. What is the point of having click and collect if when you get there you have to wait for someone to fetch it from inside the store. That's not click and collect, it's someone shopping for you while you are waiting around fuming like an idiot. If I had known how long I would have to wait would have just gone to the store and picked it up myself. All in all CLICK AND COLLECT NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

Member of staff offended me while trying to find my order at downstairs warehouse area. He made deep ofensive remarks against me. Something you dont expect from an organised like this. Extremely rude and disgusting member of staff. I reported the incident immediately and phoned to lodge my complaint. Over 2 weeks now and I have yet to receive any call back of apology or any form of good will gesture i will contact to phone and chase up my complaint. Stay away from store as they employ offensive staff

Wooow what a fantastic beef burger and attention from the staff, the vibe was great also- the food OMG juicy beef burgers and the chicken strips for delicious, the extra touch with the gravy sauce lovely, my boys really enjoyed too will definitely be coming back 😊😊🍔🍔
