I don't need to explain what IKEA is all about, and the one in Wembley is amongst the largest in the UK, if not the largest! Large means huge amounts of customers, and this place is often heaving with people especially on the weekend. So if you want to avoid the crowds, I would recommend going in the evening during the working week. I went Monday and I was able to swiftly walk through the entire showroom and market hall without bumping into anyone...it was a dream!! Obviously the lack of people also meant a very quick checkout at the end, and that was with the express tills closed. Amazing!! My only disappointment was with the small food section after them main tills which doesn't seem hardly any of the lovely provisions they used to sell, like Marabou chocolate discs, the oat and chocolate sandwich cookies and their own pear cider. Shame 😥

Shame for customers service and return area. They are very rude and bored to work. They was adding other customers in front of people with numbers allocated and when we ask a simple question about how to change a delivery address they get more bored and they didn't want to answer. They was sending us to the colleges next to them and those again send us back to the previous ones. Shame because the workers from selling they pay all attention for customers but after they take our money the customer service do not give a s*** about customers. Never return back.

Ikea, Wembley, has gone to pot! Used to love visiting the Wembley store. but it's all profit over people now and the proof is in the pudding... On our visit.. Not enough trollies, not enough staff (went 20 minutes in the basement without anyone to ask) no hot drinks in the cafe on a Saturday as machines all broken, hair dryers not working in the toilets, wrong labels on items that didn't link up the aisles, slow in-store click & collect (30 mins wait on an item that previously you could've collected at the end in 2 minutes. I didn't even order it online). Finally, lots of cars in the disabled bays without blue badges - and nobody checking them. Not impressed with this store anymore, at all...

I've been to lots of branches of IKEA and this is the worst. Impossible to find a clean table at lunch even though it was not busy; food slopped on the plate with no care; staff at the checkout chatting to each other rather than helping. It's just a case of bad management.

I had a terrible experience at IKEA Wembley, London on 10th March at 20:45. A staff member on the shop floor made a mistake while taking my order and booked the delivery for the wrong date. She admitted the error and told me to go to customer service to get it corrected. I was with my 4-year-old child, who was already tired, but I still went to customer service, took a ticket, and waited. When my number was called, I was suddenly told I was “jumping the queue,” even though I had a valid ticket. I explained the situation and asked for help, but the staff refused. I asked for the manager, Rui, who was extremely rude and dismissive. He told me, “It’s not my problem if you have a child. You’re not the only one.” My husband and I pleaded for help, but we were ignored and left with no resolution. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. The staff showed no empathy, and the way I was treated in front of my child was unacceptable. I considered canceling my order but didn’t want to deal with the same poor service again. IKEA needs to seriously improve their customer service at this location. I do not recommend shopping here.

There has been a massive improvement in the service lately; the staff are proactively helpful which is a breath of fresh air, not only on this mega shop, but I've noticed it across the board. I hope they will keep it up. The products also keep improving.

To the store manager named Sam or Kylee,as per customer service call centre,I had purchased products online and then went to the store for return on 20th January;2025.The lady at the counter made me tap my card,and the refund has not been back to my card yet. I have made multiple phone calls and visits to the store. Unfortunately you were not available any time. At the store,they ask me to call customer service,at the call centre they either tell me to visit tue store or assure me that money will be back in max 14 days. I am exhausted chasing my refund amount. I want to raise this further and want my refund back ASAP.

Returns department is appalling and really rude. They make it slow and impossible to use so that people give up and dont return things - more money for IKEA and less money for us. Spoke to the manager about it she was offhand and rude. Avoid if at all possible !! IKEA you are better than this !

The outside car park at ikea is insecure. I just had my van broken into in the middle of the day. The van was parked in the middle of the car park. When I've contacted the MITIE Security in the car park they advised me to contact the police. The review is not for ikea the store or their products but to highlight the fact that thieves operate on their premises

For a kid's bench, which is a small box btw, they force you to wait for an hour in the order& collect location with 30 other people, because for some reason you cannot pick it up from the aisle shelves. Here is just a waste of time.

Great customer service - helpful and friendly. The winding layout is a bit painful if you’re there to get a specific item but that’s just the IKEA style. However there are self service kiosks that tell you exactly where you need to go to find something specific, which was very helpful.

For the love of God. If you go there on the weekend, expect huge queues and do not get tempted to take a left and park outside as you will be doing what everyone else is doing except you won't find a spot. Just turn right at the round about and park in the multi-storey. When queue up at the till and you see random people who skip the queue and walk right to the front and loiter. They will push in up front and are just waiting for an opportunity. Don't let them pass and tell them to head back in line. Anything else has already been said by others. Over and out.

This is the second time IKEA has failed to deliver my online order on the scheduled day. I waited at home from 9 AM to 7 PM, and they never showed up—no update, no explanation, nothing. If you're ordering online and expecting a reliable delivery, think twice. Very disappointing experience!

Very unpleasant staff welcomed us and whe I asked how to get to bistro to buy Hot Dogs, lady looked at me like I was an alien or something and simply replied "Exit". Cold hot dogs. Really bad. I will not be coming back there.

The IKEA Café is absolutely great well within most peoples budget. I’ve been there for all meals on this occasion. I was there for breakfast and walk for £ £3.70 he had nine pieces of breakfast what a bargain and well worth it You don’t have to be coming just for shopping. You can just come here for a meal.

Upon entering the shop, the ground floor stunk of fishy urine, and it wasn't difficult to locate where the toilets were! My son and l were looking for a particular duvet which ikea sell. We approached two staff members who behaved like they really didn't enjoy their jobs. If you ask me, both are a liability to the business. I came with the intention of buying an item which cost £249.00. I was told by the first staff member that we only do that item in 'double' size. And then directed us to the incorrect item. To be busy to be bothered! The second lady, my goodness she glared at us, like how dear you ask me a question! She then, said oh it's discontinued." I replied, but it was here on the shelf. She then said, "we don't have anymore in stock. My son and l decided to leave and couldn't be bothered with the attitude. When we got to the car, l googled the item and found that it was in stock at the same ikea we had just left!! What a waste of time l will go to Argos instead.

I visited this store recently and found the sales assistants to be incredibly helpful and hardworking despite the clear difficult conditions they have to work with. The store itself was wonderful, however the management team were utterly ridiculous. It's clear they have little care for their employees as they were forced to work whilst sick and treated poorly by those who are supposed to support them throughout their shift. One worker in particular was working as hard as she could to support my family and I to browse for a new sofa, despite her clear fever and illness. This employee was refused to leave early to help recover by her manager, even though she was visibly unwell. I usually enjoy visiting IKEA with my family, however this has disappointed my view of this company. I have never seen such an ill-trained and disrespectful management team.

I visited IKEA last weekend to pick up some spare parts, and I had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by Adam at customer services. He went above and beyond to ensure I got everything I needed. I watched as he battled to retrieve a wardrobe part that seemed nearly impossible to access, buried under a pile of other boxes. Many others might have given up, but Adam persevered and made sure I left with exactly what I came for. Not only is he incredibly dedicated, but he’s also polite, welcoming, and a real asset to IKEA. I can’t thank him enough for his help—his exceptional service truly made a difference!

I was disappointed to try my fave vegan meatballs and it wasn't as good as I thought it was initially when I first tried it out... Is it me but has the price gone up with smaller portions of the meatballs and chips... The 75p cinnamon buns weren't that great either - hard and dry on the outside and sweet and slightly chewy in the centre... I don't think I'd go again, I was recommended the breakfast menu so I'm not sure if I'll visit again~~

Their delivery service (SHIFT) is shockingly bad. We paid and scheduled a delivery for the morning slot. The item came at 6pm. There is no way to contact them, neither IKEA takes any responsibility for it even thought they are partners. Very bad service overall.

The click and collect staff leaves a lot to be desired in the form of guest satisfaction received. They didn't like me taking a little time packing 6x cups to stop them from breaking and when I tried to stack my crockery carrier inside my frakta, they said to one another "patience ". I looked and joined in with a submission of my mouth "you should really provide these"and pointed to the crockery carrier I brought with me , and originally received from Ikea Greenwich. I then interjected in the moment of disrupting their conversation with " yes patience!" I then left and told my mummy

I traveled 1.5 hours to get to this Ikea because I saw they had an item I wanted in stock. When I couldn’t find it I asked an employee who just told me I was “screwed.” That they were out of stock and the website hadn’t updated. He told me I should have placed an order for pick up online. But that was not an option, it was only available to purchase in-store which is why I came so far for it. Extremely unpleased that I waisted more than 3 hours or my time today and money for travel. I know ikea doest’t care but I am just annoyed that big companies like this get to treat people this way.

We thought we would give this one a go. We normally go to IKEA Reading and I now know why. Parking wasn’t a problem, first impression it seemed just like the Reading store & then we came to the food court. How disappointing was that, none of the soft drinks were working, coffee machines had run out of coffee beans, there was no forks (had to wait 5mins to get them) I don’t know what they do differently here , but the food wasn’t that nice, 30 mins after eating both of us wasn’t feeling great. I wouldn’t come back here even if you paid me, I think I’ll stick to Reading.
