Sam's Chicken in Brent

Food too pricey for basic chicken & chips. Then they have the audacity to not have a selection of sauces with those prices.

Food was great and warm! Only downside is the Sam's mayo being just a pre-bought mayo of a brand I dislike. not worth the £1 price. But food is top!

All the food was very salty today

I write this review with a heavy heart as I have been a regular customer of this local branch of Sam's for the past 17 years. Sad to say a once decent franchise has gone downhill now for a good 3 years. Average wait times for small orders is anywhere between 15-25 mins. Today I was made to wait 50 mins for a combo box and a fillet burger meal - whilst my kids were waiting at home hungry. The management is terrible and the algorithm is there to support online orders whilst sitting customers are lower down the pecking order. Staff whilst friendly, are at times clueless on how to manage busy times (Today is the Joshua boxing match, granted). If you are attending event day and are in a rush, or just want a quick bite - DO NOT come to this shop, you will be set up for disappointment. You are best served going to the chicken shops on bridge road. This will be the last time me or my family will be ordering from sams, which is a real shame as me and my son loved ordering from here. As a regular customer, despite being there much earlier, I was the one last served and other customers got their orders before me. I have been holding back on writing this review but I owe it to the local community to let them know that this is not once the place it used to be.

Fulfilled requests. Food piping hot !

I asked for bbq wings, not only did they give me one less than I asked for. It was not what I asked for. My food was burnt and was not up to the usual standard. Did not taste good at all. Staff were slow and denied my refund.

The food was late and cold i call the restaurant and they told me they need to cook one by one the dishes plus the delivery driver told me he waited ther for 45 min i want my money back

The service is bad, there is a problem all the time, I am waiting for the order from last 50 minutes.

The service was unacceptable as my food was drenched in my drink and it somehow burst which caused my food and burger to be moist.My drink is also half way finished. I demand a full refund for this service

I was in the area so i thought id get a bite, the place is nice and clean customer service was great however the food wasn’t so pleasant. Ive had a wings meal it was a disappointment, chips comes in a paper bag which i am not happy with. A bit pricey too.

I loved my chicken and chips, still warm. Arrived on schedule, all good.

They say if you spend over 20£ they wil send you the loaded free fries and they dont do anything

Fantastic! Hot and tasty from the chicken to the burger and the fries. I loved my entire meal and would recommend it as the box meal has great value.

Excuse me? Either the driver stole my order as it wasn't sent or it didn't leave the shop. Either way it incorrectly says it has been 'Delivered at 2.14 am' and at 2.40 am it isn't . Usually I get a knock on the door plus a phone call and as I haven't received any I can assume the above. Disgusting way to treat customers who put their trust in you!

1 star off food quality as fries were not up to usual amazing standard - portion size & taste. 1 star off delivery for ringing the doorbell after 1in the morning.

Very tasty chicken indeed. The wraps too were filling with plentiful chicken inside!!! Will definitely be ordering again!! 100% satisfied 😊 props to our delivery man on a bike, so warm, friendly and delivered our order with a smile.

Absolutely fantastic. Popped in on a whim as we were walking past before going to a gig. The food was so fresh, so cheap and absolutely fantastic! Didn't take long to cook either considering there were only two people working there!

Delivery arrived literally at the last minute. I was starving and chose one of my favourite nearby places to hot food quickly. Didn't want to wait 50mins for something so close but alas. Chips were cold, chicken was nice.

The food usually is okay although the order I received was not great at all, the chips were cold, the bbq wings were completely burnt and hardly had any of the bbq sauce and the burger was also cold/soggy. Not sure what happened today but I was not satisfied with the meal as I had to throw all of it away. Please do better Sam’s as previously it’s been okay but I was really let down esp as I was really looking forward to it!

This order was a good experience because the food was great, hot, well done and better than expected. They called to say they did not have what I ordered but they made up for it. It made me feel valued as a repeat customer and made me trust in their services more. All good.

So the order come after 1:30 hours and after that the food was cold already. I’m disappointed about this order.

Guys,I can’t call that loaded fries,literally half of the box is empty,that is not worth 7£ at all!

The place is very slow also there is only two staffs, one working at the back and one who is taking the order and also Oakington the food which takes a long time for a customer to order.

Why are the peri peri grilled wings always not fresh?

Bought some fried chicken and chips plus 2 chicken burgers from this place yesterday. The fried chicken was stale/bad. Had tummy ache after eating. Won't be buying from this shop again

Chicken Nugget meal includes fries and a drink. Clown gave me nothing more than the nuggets. It was raining and was on tube by time I realised it but it's their responsibility to ensure the correct order. A total disgrace and I hope they lose the franchise. Takeaways "forget" items on deliveries usually they aren't this brazen. Pathetic.

They are cash in hand only. But if you know them then you can pay by card and the machine is hidden under the counter I have seen it. Money laundry

The food wasn't tasty. Fries tasted like the oil wasn't changed or fresh. Chicken, basic. Not much spicy.

Delivery times kept being pushes back and arrived cold and stale. waste of money.

Hate to leave a negative review, considering all the previous times the food was very good and delivered on time. BUT, this is a MAJOR issue....... The idiot delivery driver made the food delivery somewhere else and I had no way to contact the restaurant to update and advise them of the issue. The number I managed to source from the website.... i called several times but no one picked up the ringing phone. I have had no choice but to contact Just-Eat and hopefully get a refund. Just to reiterate........ THE ISSUE WAS WITH THE INCOMPETENCE OF THE DELIVERY DRIVER. And, OF THE ZERO CONTACT DETAILS WITH THE RESTAURANT WHEN AN ISSUE ARISES

Paid £8.50 for a double beef burger that in the pics shows two smashed patties but in reality it was the two cheapest frozen beef burgers I've ever had it was disgusting the burgers were grey! It's businesses like this that take the piss in london just cause its so expensive to live down here doesnt mean you can charge so much for utter rubbish like that..... I will never come back to sams

You lot took my money and didn’t give me my food I ordered 10 mozzarella dippers and you only gave me 5. I want the other 5 ordered or a full refund, this is not okay and needs to be sorted asap.

Disgraceful experience with this shop. Ordered to collect delayed collection due to traffic when tried collect was told no such order exists. Since then marked as order picked up. I will call this a fraud.

Over priced for just a a normal fried chicken shop, and the staff are slow to be honest won't go back because I just hate fried chicken shops that are stingy with sauces spent £8.50 askedfor sauces and they gave me 1 ketchup and 1 mayonnaise asked for more but was asked to pay for them.

I recently ordered from sams, through uber eats app, and What I received it was not what any person should receive! My chicken was totally raw, it’s unbelievable how bad the cooking methods could be! Extremely disappointed, it never happened to me before at any other sams, but I’m definitely not ordering from this branch ever again! Raw food can cause many illnesses! Please sort out the quality of your food.

Food didn't taste fresh. Tasted frozen and chicken was dry. 2nd time and last time I eat here. Only good thing was the price and serve time.

The slim girl was very rude. I had to ask for every little thing, sauces, napkins etc. I made an order of more than 30£ and got only one napkin meanwhile we were in three. Even she forgot to put fries in the order when we paid for that. Never coming again .

I ordered a blaze burger, no mayonnaise. Went home to find mayonnaise in my burger. They do not listen to orders and I had to end up binning the burger. Not happy!!!!

Double cheeseburger that I ordered was made of frozen meat patties, took a very long time to to be made, tasted like rubber, hard and tasteless. I paid £7.50 for a disgusting burger (they charge extra for chips and a drink) that I have put in the rubbish bin. Just Eat and Deliveroo has great customer reviews, because I believe the staff prioritises online customers over eating in and takeaway.
