If you like instant noodles, you know the supermarket own brand that costs 20p - and on top of this, you let them cool and congeal before you eat them, then this is possibly the place for you. If you would go one further and happily pay £6.95 (£9.20 inc warm drink from fridge) for the privilege, then this is definitely the place for you. The over-priced handful of gluey noodles, four slices of spring onion, a beansprout, and five oily knuckles of tofu was randomly named 'Tofu Pad Thai'. That's like calling a chicken nugged dumped in a plastic portion of ketchup 'Coq au vin.'I would rather have eaten my mask. Did I complain? I considered it. I'd already been back to swap my warm cold drink for another cold drink. I foolishly, stupidly ate it.No. It looked blurgh and it tasted of 'I told you so'.

Matcha?? My foot. I asked for a strawberry matcha just to revive a plain awful disgusting drink just awful in a small cup for 5 quid. I wanted to honestly cry just awful, had to him that 5 quid down. I have the picture as well so do yourself a favor and don’t go in there.

After having spent £50 for a takeaway for 4, to say I am disappointed is an understatement. Shish kebab x 2 with no salad, no sauce, just meat, bread and a spoon of rice. Over cooked burger x 2, in a limp bun and half a box of curly fries. Not a nice feeling when you feel ripped off!

Been going to this Wimpy since the 1980's There is no interaction now just cold heartless screens to place your order on where the seating used to be The majority of benches and seats have been removed leaving just one row down the side The place just looks dead from the street now with smoked glass windows so you can't tell if it's open and it just feels dead where before it was fun to people watch etc And the price...ohhhh the price 2 of us a meal each.....£28 😯 You have to ask for vinegar etc now...penny pinching which at the price point is inexcusable Lifelong customers lost

We were too late for our usual chippy and very hungry so thought we'd try Penwithick again after a few years...What a mistake! £22 for 2 pieces of thin fish in slimy half cooked tasteless batter with chips that were so spale and soggy they were practically inedible! I'm not sure how it's possible to get fish and chips so wrong and it was only when I got the sickly aftertaste did I remember they cook using beef fat which is why we stopped going there before although I don't remember the food being sooo bad!
