This is a chipshop and we've been going here for years... Chicken kebab in a naan bread. Once you've tried it you'll know why...

I’m not knocking the food here that’s fine,It’s the service start of they don’t take hard cash,And just to top it off they have now gone fully automated I tried 4 times to put my order in to the new screens and make payment all it kept saying was doesn’t recognise the payment machine the staff in the kiosk didn’t even attempt to help so I’m afraid Mr Wimpy you can’t beat talking to a human and placing your order this kiosk has gone backwards I shall not be going there again and I can assure you I will let everyone know.

My order consisted of two kebabs, a sausage, and chips. Initially, the proprietor failed to include the sausage in the total. After the order was being assembled, she realized her mistake and requested payment. However, she then insisted on cash due to their £5 minimum card spend policy. When I explained I had no cash and that the error was not mine, she proceeded to process a card payment, but without informing me, she increased the amount charged. Critically, she deliberately positioned the card machine to prevent me from seeing the updated total. This deceptive action was only revealed when I reviewed my bank statement at home. This level of dishonesty is appalling and has resulted in the permanent loss of my patronage. With ample alternatives in the area, I strongly advise others to consider their options.

Tuvimos algo de comida para trabajar esta noche, esta es la 1 vez en la calle que hemos utilizado este lugar en particular, tuvimos una mezcla de algunos artículos del menú (pollo mariposa, nuggets, carne de kebab, pescado, naan, patatas fritas) ¡Las porciones son enormes! Absolutely disgusting!! Chips soggy with grease and dark brown, obviously last nights warmed up, not edible!! Battered sausage was dripping with oil, as with the chips the bin has been fed!! Never again!! The two staff working were more interested in chatting to the blokes! It lives up to name ' one star baz's grease emporium ' 🤢

They didn’t give me my fish and I hate the people that didn’t want to give me it . The workers are not understanding and I am very upset

I'm gutted. I loved this chippy since I moved to Telford 7 years ago. I'm Scottish and haven't really enjoyed English chippies because they're so different but I loved this one and even when I moved out of Lawley I'd continue to order from there. So imagine how gutted I am when I order tonight and the food quality is subpar. AND they've sent me the complete wrong food which honestly looks inedible and I'm not being funny but when I order donner kebab meat and chips for literally just shy of a tenner, I expect to get it. Instead I got chicken and it's not something I'd feed my dog. I've tried to ring them over 5 times, no answer. From reading reviews now this seems to be a common thing. Reached out via social media, nothing. I've had to raise it via JustEat and honestly I'm just so disappointed. And still bloody hungry.

Just wanted a quick snack . Had baguette meal deal with fries. Very tasty , fries were nice and crunchy and was value for money .Staff friendly and helpful. Also the premises are clean and tidy.

Fabulous place and come here once a week when I finish work locally. Always good service and quality. Pleasant staff also which makes a difference.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! We placed our order at 17.50 and was due to be delivered at 18.50. It is now 20.25. We rang them 3 times and they just kept repeating that the food had left and the manager stated that he was busy and there was nothing they could do. Appalling customer service and will never return!

I have been using the chip shop for 4 years now. The offers they provide are fantastic and the taste of the pizzas, chips, pies and fish are the best I have tasted. I use to visit chip shops in Oswestry but now I drive out of my way to get food from Whittington. I am always welcomed with a smile and treated like with warm kindness. Give them a try if you haven't already done so... I promise you will never pick anywhere else again.

Foods not great prices are expensive and to be fair staff not very friendly staff or helpful be better of going Mcdonalds
