every sandwich you can think of,mine is tuna and sweetcorn, theres a lot to choose from, be a devil give it a go.

Absolutamente encantador. El mejor pescado con papas fritas que he tenido durante algún tiempo. Entramos a las 7. 15 pm y la tienda estaba cerrando a las 7 . 30 pm. No había peces grandes que me decepcionó inicialmente, sin embargo, los propietarios explicaron que habían estado muy ocupados para un martes por la noche. Decidimos quedarnos y ordenar y tan contentos que lo hicimos. El pescado (tamaño regular) estaba recién cocinado por encargo. Todo estaba caliente y fresco. Anteriormente he vivido en Blackpool durante muchos años y puedo decir que este es uno de los mejores fish and chips que he tenido. Hermosa y sin duda volveré. Estaba claro que los propietarios conocían su negocio y se preocupaban por el servicio y la calidad de la comida. Gente encantadora y buena comida. Muchas gracias. ¡La próxima vez llegaré antes y conseguiré un pez grande!

This place sells amazon ice cream. The girl behind the counter was really helpful and took time to look after all her customers. Place was a real find.

It's a typical Greggs. Nothing special about it. Great for a quick bite to eat. TL;DR It's a Greggs.

Absolutely fabulous, had the chips with salsa and cheese sauce etc and they were so filling and tasty. I don't live nearby to Ellesmere Port at all but when I do go once in a while, I make sure to visit this stand for food vs anywhere else because it's such good quality and value!

Went in around 4.15pm they open at 4pm Was told nothing is ready 20 mins wait as they open at 4pm. Well duh opening at 4 doesn't mean you get your ass there and start prepping at 4pm. Don't think they understand opening at 4pm means food should be ready at 4pm

Read about Chips @ No.8 in local press (website) but only got round to visiting recently. It's everything I had read about. Superb fish n chips and all the trimmings (mushy peas, curry sauce etc). The fact there is a small bar downstairs (eat in restaurant is on first floor) meant we could have a pint of locally brewed I.P.A. with our chippy tea. Very cool. To top it off there is a large mural of local legend and The Fall mainstay Mark E. Smith on the side wall outside made this a memorable visit. Cheap car parking opposite.

The best fish and chips I've had in years...fresh and clean....batter is amazing....thin,crispy and cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef. BIG THANKS

Have used the Golden flower for a while and the food is always good.However the service tonight has been awful. Don't tell me my order will be 20 mins then I'm still sat there 35 minutes later while a number of other people order after me but get there order before I do. I will never use them again.

Check food b4 leaving asked for no cheese as have an allergy bur still put it on after a long day out could not be bothered going back to change it

The food was pretty disappointing. The honey chili chicken had no spice, just sweetness, and the salt and pepper chips had no seasoning at all. Everything was a bit bland.

Poor service at best. How long do you wait for a chippy tea? 2 hours these guys took and when I called to ask where it was I was told “we’re busy” before putting the phone down. No apology. No nothing. Absolutely disgusting manners. Looking at the other reviews I’m not the only one. With service like that you don’t deserve my custom. Reckon that food hygiene score might be due a review too.

Food was fresh and very tasty with generous portions; staff were friendly and attentive and really good attitude; the whole atmosphere was really nice! Highly recommend for some good food and a nice experience.

Takeaway The fish was tasteless and dry as was fish cake. the batter hard and greasy. The fish cake was dry. I fairness the chips were quite good

We have a caravan nearby and when we visit Poulton we always have to get a Pork Pie and Custard Pie from this shop to take back to the caravan for dinner! Never had a bad experience with them and the staff are friendly although they are at times very busy.
