The best restaurants in Brockenhurst and Forest South East New Forest South East

Lovely little cafe, great staff, proper loose leaf tea. We went in for tea in the morning, then went back again for lunch. Couldn't fault it.

My wife & I go here every week and quite honestly it is the best cafe I have ever been into. The food is always served hot- very tasty- and what ever you have is presented very well- and there is a wide ranging menu. This is a husband and wife establishment- Paul is the chef and Fleur FOH. Fleur bakes an assortment of fabulous pastries and cakes- and the whole cafe is spotless having a 5 star hygiene review. We both have very high standards when it comes to dining out and I would recommend this establishment to every one.

Room comfortable and well equipped Cosy bar with excellent service. Spa is rather small but offers a wide variety of services. Dinner and breakfast were both served in the Armada restaurant, food and service both excellent. The grounds are superb and the house is full of beautiful features. Would definitely return in the future.

Absolutely love this little gem of a restaurant the staff are excellent and the head chef I think his name was Livio what a lovely man proper Italian with fire and love in his belly for his authentic Italian food . The manager was great too and the staff are a credit to him . This was the second time we’ve been and it was amazing the first and didn’t disappoint on the 2nd visit . One word ‘stunning ‘ I couldn’t big it up enough . Will definitely be going back very soon . It’s the closest to authentic Italian food you’ll get in the south if not the country. Great stuff guys of Albero keep up the good work and keep rolling out the great food . Can’t wait to go again . Mike and Kay x

Absolutely fantastic meal on Saturday night, first time visiting this pub! Staff were attentive, we had the pie, double burger, tomapork and a childrens meal. Everything was fresh, piping hot and full of flavour, 100% recommend and we will be back!

This is a lovely place...we had breakfast here...the food was all cooked fresh and the service was swift... it's quite a large place but feels quite intimate... spotlessly clean and very well run...we will return..

Always enjoyed my fish and chips here but left disappointed today Not only have prices gone up which I understand but I received a piece of cod not much bigger than a fish finger and fewer chips than usual, not satisfying or considered good value for money after a hard days work Not encouraged to go back I’m afraid!

Leaving this review on Tripadvisor as I had already left a review on Resdiary shortly after our visit but haven’t had a response from Resdiary so not sure what the purpose of that is. The quality of the food was generally good. However, not all the food was served at the same time ( we had a long wait for a missing beef), and the food could have been hotter. The sprouts were extremely hard ( we like them al dente but these were extreme), one portion of apple crumble was sent back to be warmed up. One glass of wine was forgotten - when it did finally arrive it was deleted from the bill. This was a family lunch get together before Christmas of 8 adults and on the whole we had a good experience but the food and service could have been better.

One of My Favourite Places to Visit This hotels restaurant is a true gem! The beautiful surroundings create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, making every visit enjoyable. The food is consistently delicious, and I highly recommend the Sunday roast—it's simply outstanding. The staff are always friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Plenty of parking is available, which is a great convenience. Definitely worth a visit!
