Very friendly staff and delicious coffee. The sausage roll was a generous portion and the flapjack was v yummy. Highly recommend:)

First time visiting for breakfast which was excellent very tasty and worth the money and could choose how you had your eggs. Lovely coffee. Cakes looked amazing but no room after breakfast try them next. Lovely staff will be back and recommend them.

Absolutely love this bakery, the staff are so friendly and helpful, went out of their way to pipe some fresh custard doughnuts as they'd sold out, the bakery produce is absolutely fabulous, highly recommend this bakery, so worth a visit!

We popped in for breakfast having never been before and happened to be passing. Lots of tables were already reserved which we felt was a positive reflection. Our breakfast was lovely, hot and plentiful and the drinks were served ahead of the food which was great. To make this five stars it would simply take a member of staff to say good morning when you walk in and walk past them, for a member of staff to actually talk to you at the table rather than just putting the food on the table and then going and for someone just to ask if everything is okay; all of that would have made a big difference especially on a wet and miserable day.

Have been coming here for years and has always been a great stop, sadly not this time. An extremely rude member of staff (older lady) ruined our experience . The food looked good but was very average, breakfast quite tasteless. Shame as the location is great but others around us were also commenting on the rude off hand service. Not sure hospitality is her bag.

Excellent value and exceptional food. Everything from the welcome at the door to the service and the food was really outstanding. We will definitely return.

So sad this pub has gone down hill.Food was not worth the price infect the prices are outrageous!!avoid better pubs in area!! Staff were rude!!feels grubby in there now,they're just cashing in without a care for the customers! Shame use to be nice we won't be returning

We love this pub. Even at Xmas when really busy they fitted us in. We were a club of 5/6 people and hungry. The staff are friendly and efficient. Meals arrive hot and delicious. Bar Drinks good. Coffee really good.

Called in for a drink in the afternoon and to check out menu for following day’s dinner. All looked promising. Called in just after 9.00 pm for a drink and we were made to feel very uncomfortable. We checked on last orders (10:30), so ordered a drink. They cleaned up around us then rang bell at 10. We definitely felt unwelcome

We have had a lovely picnic while some had teas and cold drinks which were served very quickly. They had many tray bakes to offer. And a large variety of food for anyone. Including dog ice cream , would come again

What a warm, cheery greeting, with such grim weather outside. The food was excellent as well as the service throughout. If we journey this way again, The Huntsman will be No 1 on our list to visit once again.

I live locally so have visited before, taking various friends and family as the setting is so pretty and the walk from Beaulieu a pleasant way to work up an appetite. I've never found the pub at the Master Builders to be anything other than expensive, sometimes grubby, with a very limited menu and overall a not very customer focussed experience, but I've never got round to reviewing before. And always hoped it might improve! But enough is enough.....today we ordered the tomato bruschetta , which, for 10 quid, one might have thought would be a teensy bit more interesting than a chopped tomato on a piece of dried toast. ONE piece of toast...an uninspired tomato...no hint of the promised balsamic dressing that I could discern..no apparent olive oil rubbed into toast. Awful. Eat here if you are on a diet and want to feel ripped off. Better to take a picnic and sit on the tables down by the river. This pub leaves a sour taste and treats customers like idiots.
