Lovely little cafe in Beaulieu village. Coffees were great!

Excellent coffees and millionaire shortbread.

We just had a drink here and sat outside. We were told if we wanted food there would be a long wait so we didn't bother. We had to wait ages for the drinks .

Lovely welcoming staff, The Beaulieu Bakehouse offers good quality food. We enjoyed the Avocado Toast and the dark hot chocolate is some of the best I've ever had.

We stopped off at the bakery on way vack from walking to and from Bucklers Hard, my wife ate a tuna and mayo sandwich and I ate a sausage and onion sub, iboth were wonderful. The staff are very polite and friendly, we would recommend to all. By the way it is fod friendly.

Great cream tea on a Sunday afternoon.

This place is brilliant. The cappuccino's are to die for with real chocolate flakes on the top. The Bakehouse breakfast that my husband had was huge and really tasty. I had a bacon sandwich which was so nice. Crispy well cooked bacon with lovely doorstep granary bread. The day before we had some very cheesy scones which were one of the best cheese scones I've had. Dogs are welcome too!

Good coffee. Good grub. Good service. Great location.

English breakfast parfait. Savoureux, légumes frais et bien cuits. L assiette est copieuse et le cadre magnifique. Petite musique des années 50 qui nous plonge encore plus dans la déco.

Very busy cafe. Staff were pleasant. Food was basic. Loo was awful. With such a big turnover in such a touristy location, surely they can afford to improve the one and only toilet.

Visited on a Sunday for afternoon tea. Absolutely delicious & fresh with lots of options. We will definitely be back. It was lovely to sit outside in the sun with the dogs and donkeys walking by. Thank you!

Wonderful food friendly staff and at a reasonable price

Pallat cake was realy good. Not the best Mocha, I've ever had, but nore the most expensive. Bacon butties generous doorstoper, and thick slice of bacon, Personally I would have preferd all the rind removed, and a bit more grilling to broen the fat. Little bit of competition with local wildlife, wasps, donkies and sparrows.

Very welcoming, the brunch was very tasty (especially the bacon) & the coffee was very good. Nice cafe with nice staff which I would definitely recommend visit.

I booked the Bakehouse for a small afternoon tea 90th Birthday gathering. From the moment I dropped off the cake and decorations, I knew we were going to be in safe hands. The service was superb. The food was of a high standard with generous portions so much so that we needed take out boxes to take some of it home. The staff weren't phased when the decorations on the birthday cake caught fire and just carried on as if it was normal! It was a surprise afternoon for Mum and she had a fabulous time. I'm sure I will be hearing about it for some time!

Too much to choose from! Nice problem to have...settled on the chipotle burger, with fries and a drink. Burger was fabulous, the staff were all great, thumbs up from me. Went on a Monday, definitely worth it!

Fabulous breakfast for adults and children. First visit and hopefully not our last. We arrived early in the morning, had a table outside, so we could enjoy some of the sunshine. Coffee was lovely, my children were very happy with their hot chocolates. Food was great and the bacon was particularly delicious. Very friendly staff , clean restaurant and welcoming. We had some cakes to take away that were equally good. Throughly enjoyed our visit.

We had lunch outside (chicken sub and soup). The food was not particularly delicious, but ok. Service could have been better. Then, I asked at the till for some change (I needed for the nearby parking) and they said they don't have change at all. But I saw before there were plenty of changes when they opened the till.

We found this place by accident tucked away in a little courtyard Fancied a coffee and a light bite, what we got was a lovely coffee and a sandwich to die for, our 2 dogs were spoilt and we're made most welcome and the staff were so friendly and helpful will definitely be back

Booked via website for afternoon tea for my elderly mum's birthday a week before the booking date. . Had several reminders via email and text about reservation. Arrived 5 minutes prior to time booked. Guy said that's your table with reserved on over there. We sat and waited for 35 minutes with no response from any member of staff. Yes it was busy with people just turning up but they were served before us!! No explanation from anyone who worked here. We just upped and left. Will not be returning and be wary if you have booked. Seemed they could not cope with the high demand of people.

On a recent trip to the Beaulieu Motor Museum, we made a random stop at The Beaulieu Bakehouse and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food was delicious, with a variety of options that satisfied everyone's tastes. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing break. Whether you're visiting the museum or just passing through, The Beaulieu Bakehouse is a delightful spot worth stopping by.

Really enjoyed my visit, the staff were really friendly. We just popped in for a delicious candy floss ice cream and a oat latte. The old bake house part of the building has some of the original ovens in and the owner/manager told me about the history of the bake house and kindly showed me the inside of the ovens. I would definitely go again and maybe try one of the breakfasts.

Very nice place they have loveley and funny signs on the benches, cows and donkeys oftenly come down this little alley and pices are reasonable. The staff are loveley and the over-all atmosphere of tye place is loveley, Otto (the dog) approves.

Best breakfast brunch lunch tea! Try the veggie hash, indulge in a cappuccino with decadent chocolate sprinkles, or the best loose leaf teas ever (I’m partials to the Earl Grey). Just go…. Then go for a walk and come back for scones and cakes and more… we would give more stars if we could…

You can eat inside or out. Tremendous sandwiches & scones to die for. Proper loose leaf tea. On this occasion I had poached eggs on toast with vine tomatoes, a pot of tea followed by more tea & cake sitting outside in the sunshine. Fab! Dogs welcome outside.

Thankyou to the staff who made us feel so welcome.Our dachshund is a rescue puppy and we are trying to introduce him to new places ,staff took the time to chat and give him treats ! The cheese scones were amazing definitely recommend this friendly cafe .

An amazing breakfast, in a lovely setting. Sadly it was raining so we couldn't sit outside, but the interior is lovely. Would love to sample the afternoon menu sometime.

We had the stew of the day and a club sandwich. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

A nice café in the middle of the village, that has outside & inside seating, with polite friendly staff. They provide a menu, although we only had plain scones, with butter, jam & cream. The amount of jam & cream is more than sufficient being in what appeaeed to be refilled Triptree jam pots. Service speed is obviously down to the amount of customers that were being served, which today resulted in slight delay for us. However, this was negated by the lovely scones & drinks. There is one unfortunate fact though. The hand drier in the male toilet is broken & when reported to the staff resulted in 'We know & are waitng for it to be repaired'. It would have been nice if towels, paper, or otherwise, had been provided.

I highly recommend the chicken club sandwich - it was full of chicken and bacon with fresh salad too. A slight delay on the tea but it didn’t detract from the quality of service and food.

Came here for a second turn at the coffee cake and a cappuccino, both of which are amazing. A real tasty treat. Previously I have had the cream tea which is also amazing, huge scones, personally I am happy to share one as they are so big. I love that you also get sachets of butter which seems to be rare now when having a cream tea. Best cappuccino ever with real chocolate shavings on the top.

What a little gem! Found this place by accident whilst heading to a different cafe, but liked the look of it outside & the fact that it was dog friendly. So glad we did as the food was delicious. The staff were chatty & friendly. We didn't have cake, but they looked lovely.....maybe next time!

Great food, great service and staff were delightful. We popped in and were lucky to get a table as it was clearly popular and busy but the team seemed on it and still happy to help. Great quality ingredients, between us we had kids fish fingers and chips, poached egg on avocado toast, and macaroni cheese. All excellent. A delightful gem of a place. I was worried it would be a bit meh as tourist town but I was definitely wrong, and it was so good.

Stopped by on our way back to Brighton after a few days in the New Forest. Had a fantastic breakfast with my wife. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed and inviting. The setting is stunning, and the building itself is impressive. The convenient parking adds to the appeal, as the main Beaulieu public car park is only a 30-meter walk from the front door. Highly recommend it.

We called in at the bakehouse this afternoon for a late lunch. it was a sunny Sunday and the place was packed. The young man working at the till had exceptionally good customer service skills and was polite and friendly despite being so busy. I had poached eggs on toast with tomatoes and mushrooms- it was delicious.

Had a fantastic, unplanned lunch with my family. The stew was excellent and seemed to be rated by every table in the bake house. The staff were friendly and very professional. Also well done chef!

Could not wish for a warmer welcome from very helpful lad who served us. Club sandwich was delicious with freshly cooked bacon. It was enormous and very reasonable. Hoped they would get rid of the red paint and union jacks everywhere ( even though I'm very patriotic) when they redecorated but you can't have everything! All very clean

Absolutely loved it, was exactly what we were after and went above expectations. We were able to book as a group of four which was great and could have our dog. They were very friendly on arrival and went above and beyond with service. Lots to choose from on the menu and the food was absolutely delicious. Just wish we lived closer but we will be back. Have been going here for years and wasn’t looking forward to the changes when new management took over a few years ago. However, the owners of this cafe have still kept all the history and have sympathetically refurbished without taking away the traditional feel. The staff are fabulous, really polite and attentive. The owners are friendly and the food is gorgeous, especially the Bakehouse Brownie which is to die for. Highly recommend.

Visited on New Years Day 2024 just before they close for a quick refurb. Lovely, helpful staff; great breakfast offerings and proper coffee (ie. not just coloured milk). Great fuel for (a) recovery and (b) the walk to Bucklers Hard and back

Excellent service and food at reasonable price. Always welcomes when we visit. We take our dogs and they are always welcomed with a treat. 😊

Our first visit to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Freshly cooked food and yummy cakes were enjoyed by all. We will definitely be going back in the new year and would recommend a visit to this friendly establishment

Hello everybody! I came from Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia. A great place to have breakfast, drink coffee, be alone with yourself with your thoughts, the barista girl makes very good coffee, unfortunately I could not thank her because my English level is not the best)). The staff understands the guests very well, you can even say half a word and it's very good when you're a foreigner and you don't know English well) Thank you to the team

We walked from Bucklers Hard and were looking for somewhere to eat. Could do with more signage from the road as nearly missed this place. Lovely food. Very busy. Only downside is the table wasn't cleaned though had been cleared. Ice cream was nice and had my favourite flavour , coffee mocha/swirl, which is a rare find! I expect they're packed in the summer, but as I'm localish I rarely go to these places in peak season.

The food is amazing the portions are enormous! The bake house has a lovely warm cosy vibe and we loved the music. However your man at the front is rude and off putting we thought the same last year and that maybe he was having a bad day. But he was the same this year and two families said so which is a shame.

The most delicious scones I've ever had! My husband and I shared both a savoury tea plate and a cream tea plate (we went half-half): was not disappointed!! And big portions!

Sharing a brunch while visiting from France and super impressed. Food was lovely (Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine), staff were happy and to helpful, and the coffee —> Top Notch espresso and mokka. Well rounded place to eat and enjoy. BTW the scones —> enormous!!!! 😋. Thank you 🤩

Welcoming traditional cafe, dog friendly, with outside seating for cyclists. Bacon bap was very good quality using local ingredients, service great. Would recommend.

We had delicious lattes and my husband had a bacon sandwich. Plenty of bacon, top quality, thickly sliced bread. The service was excellent and both ladies were friendly and spared a few minutes to chat to us. Highly recommend.

Lovely lunch with the family! Even the dog enjoyed herself. We had a fish finger sandwich, cheese & tomato sandwich, vegan sausage baguette and a sweet chilli chicken baguette. The bread was delicious and the staff were lovely.

The weather was good so we sat outside with our coffees with our dog. Staff were attentive and bought our drinks quickly. The environment meant that you tended to talk to those around you. Especially when a donkey and its foal came to visit and...

Do not come here, asked for cream tea she asked if I wanted tea with it, waited 40 mins while the tables a state to only get a tiny portion of cream and jam, that’s meant for 2 people! Asked for more cream and the waiter got all rude and fussy with me. Tea didn’t even taste good in the end

Nice cafe in the centre of Beaulieu, reasonable prices and quick service. I had the sausage sub which was lovely and really filling!
