A lovely setting just off the Main Street with seating in and outside. Was very disappointed with the cake choice - all seemed pre bought in and had already run out of scones for a cream tea at 315pm. My choice of coffee cake looked good but tasted dreadful, the butter cream was instead an awful tasting goo and the cake was very dry. Such a shame as a bakehouse conjures up Home baked goods.

Watch out! Asked for 3 drinks which should have been £12.40 according to the prices displayed behind the till but was charged £16.60. When I queried it, I was told prices had gone up but they hadn't been changed on the board yet. This is a breach of Consumer Protection according to the Unfair Trading Regulations.

We often have a bacon butty here fresh baked bread with plenty of local bacon. Nice place for a coffee and chat

Lovely spot and people. Tiny portions. I actually didn't take a photo, as when I breathed in all the chips were gone! Ham egg and chips for £12.75. The portion of chips was so small. Came in a tiny dish. Very well cooked but shocking lack of value. Eggs were perfect. Ham was a lot less than generous. Poached eggs with one piece of toast for my partner. Nice but again. Portion, yikes £7.95. We are not big eaters either. Honestly. Often share a main. Kids sausage sandwich was actually good value. Coffee was good. Spot is lovely. Service is friendly. But wow. I swear there were about 10 fries in the bowl. Mad price for the size.

A very charming restaurant. The food is delicious, the decor is cozy, and the staff is helpful and friendly.

If the name Bakehouse conjures up images of artisan sandwiches, you are likely to be disappointed. I Ordered a chicken club house sandwich. It took 35 mins to arrive. When it finally arrived, plonked on the table with no finesse it looked sparsely filled. There was very little chicken & it was filled with mainly salad leaves, mayonnaise & a couple of slices of tomato & cucumber. Most of the filling such as it was filled the space between the 2nd & 3rd slice of bread. There was almost no filling between the first & 2nd slice. Very disappointing especially as the sandwiches are not exactly cheap ! The cakes looked ok but I didn’t try any. The coffee I had was ok.

Lovely coffee place, fast service and best scones we ever had! I enjoyed my oatmilk cappuccino and my fiancé enjoyed his regular black coffee. Perfect quiet place to sit outside in the sun.

We were lucky enough to get a table inside at lunchtime on a Sunday. Nice simple menu of sandwiches, baked potatoes, baguettes, scones, cakes etc. All our meals were brilliant and we certainly didn’t leave hungry! Ordered scones and tea plus a few kids meals. All spot on. Nice friendly owner as well.

Found this place purely by accident and am really glad we did. Really nice cup of tea and a great selection of cakes. The menu looked really interesting and the food coming out to the tables smelt lovely and looked really nice too. We had already booked a table for dinner that evening or we would have eaten here.

A great little tea room! Everything on the Menu is amazing and the service is outstanding. Shout out to Georgina who looked after us while we was eating.

Cafe a bit grubby, my plate had old dried on lettuce from previous use. Food average (at best!) but main issue was the attitude of the manager/owner. He is rude, obnoxious and very unwelcoming. Would never return or recommend to anyone!

Popped in for a bite to eat, lovley place seating inside and out, staff very friendly, ordered fish finger sandwich and club sandwich both very tasty, side order of chips very nice, and a slice if forest fruit slice, and cherry coconut cake full of whole glacier cherries, will definitely pop in again when passing. 10/10

I always choose this spot for a cake and coffee if I’m in the area. It’s a bit pricey but not bad value, and always good fare.

Cracking sandwiches! ...Big fat bread, we had fish finger and a chicken club which xame with a tasty side salad. I wasn't sure about the loose leaf tea but it was actually delicious! We sat inside on the comfy sofas but it was a lively sunny day and the outside seating looked lovely.

This is a fantastic cafe with lovely food and we would highly recommend it. The bacon and egg sandwich was the best I've ever had. The selection of cakes was also very impressive.

This is our ‘go to’ spot for lovely food and coffees in Beaulieu village - some nice GF options too for those that need it👍 - great music choice too🎸🎸. Go on - give The Beaulieu a visit.

We stopped off at Beaulieu for a wander round the beautiful village with our dogs, visit a few of the local shops and to partake in a light lunch. We have been to the Beaulieu Bakehouse once before on a previous visit to the New Forest and we knew it did good food, was dog friendly and had a nice ambience with outside seating. We are pleased to say nothing had changed 👍 The food was lovely, the tea room was still welcoming, the service was good and it was still very dog friendly. As the weather was sunny and warm we sat outside, as we did on our previous visit, and watched the world go by as well as taking in the many passing dogs! We both had the Bakehouse Big Boy breakfast sandwich and the bacon was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. The only issue we had were the toilets which were a little cramped but they are what they are in an old building like this. There is a pay & display car park virtually next door. It's mot that bog but we got lucky as someone was leaving just as we arrived so we got a space quite easily - others weren't so lucky!

Food is gorgeous, bread is 10/10. Perfect little place 💕

Fabulous breakfast, little gem we found whilst doing the Beaulieu to bucklers hard walk with our dogs. Ingredients used for my full English was top notch, really tasty sausage and a very good coffee to go with it. Highly recommend

Had coffee and brunch at The Beaulieu Bakehouse and it was spot on! Service from Georgina and Harry was excellent, homemade red pepper soup and eggy bread were both very tasty and the cappuccino was the Rolls Royce of cappuccino's...all cappuccino's will be graded against this in future! It's a great coffee shop, the decor, music and atmosphere was fab, walked in to hear Floyd playing, followed by the Beatles and various other amazing music, so what's not to like. Will definitely be heading back there and can highly recommend it 👌

Lovely bakehouse in the centre of Beaulieu, delicious food, the doorstep sandwiches are made with the freshest bread. Coffee was equally as good! Very reasonably priced

Brilliant place, we live the other side of the forest but often pop in for a delicious avocados and roast veg jacket potato and a strawberry milkshake. Fair priced, home cooked, always spot on food in a beautiful setting and served by lovely staff. 100% recommend 👌 👏 👍

I love this place. Great food, nice atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. Quaint tearooms with great decor and cosy sofas. Seating outside in the summer is lovely with lots of birds waiting for crumbs and donkeys and ponies popping along to say hello. Best cappuccino in the New Forest and loyalty card for free coffee.

Quaint & delightful little place for coffee & cake. I actually went for the savoury cheese scone with onion chutney & cheese. Delightfully filling. The cappuccino was THE BEST cappuccino I have ever had in my life. Georgina was very accommodating & the perfect host! If you are passing through Beaulieu, this is the place to pop in to!

Stumbled across this little gem. Fantastic sandwiches (door stops) and cakes. The service was amazing. Georgina and her colleague were very friendly and efficient. Our little Freddie the Frenchie enjoyed his visit too, plenty of fuss and a biscuit. We'll worth a visit. Took home some cake for later 😋.

I was treated to lunch here two weeks ago on a Thursday, it was lovely food , perfect poached eggs on toast ! I decided to treat my daughter and grandson this Monday .. what a mistake! I asked the very rude grumpy man behind the counter what the soup of the day was .. ain’t got any was the reply ! The waitress came to serve us and my grandson who wanted soup changed his choice to a filled sub …we haven’t got subs today was her reply ! Great start . The glass that was given to my grandson for his can of coke was absolutely disgusting! A lady on the next table said it was dishwasher salt and would be fine !!! Honestly it needed to be put in the bin. I decided to have the poached eggs on toast … the bread wasn’t toasted ..it was bread ! And two off the three eggs where hard . When we where nearly finished grumpy asked if everything was ok , bit late now because we had all used the toilet and that was enough to tell me never to go there again .. absolutely filthy and toilet leaking ! The place wasn’t busy , service was very slow ,and the lady that commented on the glass came in after us and got her order of food way way before us . There where tables that wanted clearing and our table was very sticky .. AVOID !!

Great little restaurant, open to dogs and the portions are generous, representing great value for money. Has a nice outdoor area for the summer. One caution, it does get busy so you need to be reasonable about waiting for the food to be served hot and fresh!

Amazing doughnuts and cake of all types, sandwiches pies and pastries

It was my first time visiting The Beaulieu Bakehouse today and I am already looking forward to returning. Booked a table for breakfast and although it was empty when we arrived, probably due to the rain, it quickly filled up so is worth doing. It is such a quirky, cosy place inside and we had a great spot in the window seat. I mainly chose to go as they had such an extensive breakfast menu, especially for vegetarians/vegans. I chose the veggie hash, (fried potatoes, spinach, peppers, onions, veggie sausage and eggs.) They were happy to switch up the fried eggs with scrambled and it was absolutely delicious. Couldn't fault it. I was also really impressed with drinks menu. Alongside the usual hot beverages, there was a huge selection of milkshakes, frappes and iced coffees, which were delicious. Only marked the service down one star as our drinks came out with the food, and would have been nice to get them a bit sooner, but it wasn't really a big deal. Can't wait to come and try the lunch menu next week. Would highly recommend!

We regularly visit the Bakehouse. Best coffee and hot chocolate in the area. Lovely sprinkles, none of that dust rubbish. Friendly staff too.

We've tried visiting this coffee shop a couple of times, but unfortunately, our experiences have been disappointing. The first time, the older man working there was very rude, shouting at us and saying they weren't open yet. The second time, we arrived just before closing time, and once again, the same man was rude—he literally shut the door in our faces, saying they were closed even though we still had 15 minutes. It’s such a lovely village, but sadly, the rude behavior from the coffee shop owner has made us decide not to return. Very disappointing experience.

Excellent hot chocolate and Dorset apple cake

We used to come to this place with the former owners for years until they finally retired. However, as we were in the area last week, decided to take a look at how things had changed. It’s lovely to see that the new owners have kept the interior the same, along with the old photos of Beaulieu highstreet. They have also updated the decor and added some lovely leather sofas, bunting and were playing a fab playlist in the background. The prices are very reasonable, and food very good. We had the sausage sandwiches which were huge doorsteps loaded with sausages, and lashings of ketchup, yum! We will be back.

This is a potentially excellent Tea Room - plenty of ambience with the old bakery ovens etc, and good food. Let down by : slow service. Multiple dogs in cramped indoor seating area. Selfish lycra louts dumping their bikes agaist the outdoor tables.

Amazing breakfasts here today, the food was delicious and so fresh, the gentleman serving was really polite and friendly and couldn’t have done more for us. Really lovely place and food was amazing!

Had a family weekend away and stopped in for brunch. The team there made our convoluted order seem effortless. Food was superb (full English) and the coffee is excellent from a local roaster, not generic trash like you get at chain coffee shops. I often ride near this place with a group of (older and more sensible!) bikers and will absolutely be recommending we stop off here in the future.

The place is beautiful on the outside clearly buzzing - the food also smelt really nice. We only popped in to have a look as it seemed very quaint and Christmassy. Unfortunately, before I had even placed my second foot in the door… I was told rather abruptly and loudly that food would be a long wait. When I said that we weren’t actually there to eat…. The immediate response was that there was a long wait for drinks too. Actually, we were only there to look at the lovely pastries given that the place is called a Bakehouse. The abrupt tone told me we were not welcome. I understand places get super busy! And there will inevitably be a long wait or no space. But the delivery and the rather rude and unwelcome announcement was entirely unnecessary. So we left without looking at any pastries as it soured the experience.

We had some time to kill before checking in to a nearby hotel so stopped in Beaulieu to stretch our legs and have a look around. Turns out there is not a lot to see in the village itself but this little café made the stop worthwhile. The coffee and cakes we had were delicious. And customers sat at nearby tables were relishing their food too. It's a welcoming, comfortable café with a few tables outside too for when the weather is warm enough.

Best Jacket Potato I have ever had. Ever. Often come here from Breakfasts which are amazing but stopped in for lunch and ordered a Jacket with Tuna and Cheese and requested beans as well. Oh. My. Word. Fantastic portion size, beautiful blend of tuna, cheese and beans complimented by a delectably dressed salad. Such a simple meal made perfectly. Customer service is also incredible, staff are very friendly and it’s always a pleasure when we stop in. Looking forward to the next visit!

The welcome by the owner/ manager was unfriendly. Our simple order of soup and side order of chips took an excessive time to be served. When it arrived the soup was cold and the chips soggy. The cafe was run down. I strongly advise to give this place a wide birth

Lovely baked foods and drinks, and accommodates all who can turn up, even a push bike repair tool station. Sat inside, the choice of window stools, lounge chairs, tables plenty of seating. Friendly staff, and every table full of fellow sightseers, inside and out tables available. Good sun traps throughout the morning and midday. Carpark 3hrs, plenty of time left on NFC clock card to walk out and back along the river pathway to Bucklers Hard with our dog, and to stop in for a late breakfast and superb pot of tea. This little tea room is a destination to visit, conveniently placed.

We just had a drink here and sat outside. We were told if we wanted food there would be a long wait so we didn't bother. We had to wait ages for the drinks .

Lovely welcoming staff, The Beaulieu Bakehouse offers good quality food. We enjoyed the Avocado Toast and the dark hot chocolate is some of the best I've ever had.

We stopped off at the bakery on way vack from walking to and from Bucklers Hard, my wife ate a tuna and mayo sandwich and I ate a sausage and onion sub, iboth were wonderful. The staff are very polite and friendly, we would recommend to all. By the way it is fod friendly.

Great cream tea on a Sunday afternoon.

This place is brilliant. The cappuccino's are to die for with real chocolate flakes on the top. The Bakehouse breakfast that my husband had was huge and really tasty. I had a bacon sandwich which was so nice. Crispy well cooked bacon with lovely doorstep granary bread. The day before we had some very cheesy scones which were one of the best cheese scones I've had. Dogs are welcome too!
