Absolutely beautiful! Amazing food, drink, atmosphere, and a very warm, welcoming from all staff. The new owners made me me welcome and introduced me to new tastes! Fantastic!

14 of us turned up & thought we had a booking. No booking but owner could not have been more accommodating & friendly. The food they bought out was excellent. Great choice of wines.

We visited last night as a group of 8. The service was exceptional & the food was great! We ordered a couple of camemberts (which were absolutely amazing -highly recommend!!!), pork pie & a platter for 6. We all commented on the amount of food that there was!! It was great value! A few of us also ordered a couple of bottles of wine - the wine was also lovely! (I must find out what the rose was!!) It was a very enjoyable evening & I shall look forward to returning very soon!

Three of us dined here on a Friday lunchtime. We had a mixed platter of cheeses and meats. The cheeses and meats were described to us as they were served. Bread and crackers, hummus and olives were the delicious accompaniments. We soon polished it off. The service was second to none. Friendly and fun, enhancing an already very pleasant experience. Looking forward to trying their bottomless brunch next. A little bit different to most restaurants and highly recommended!

Wow, what a lovely venue for a date night. My partner and I have visited here on a number of occasions now, and we cannot recommend the cellar enough. Everything about the bar just ticks our boxes, especially the staff! They are so very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The food is not only delicious, but so elegantly presented and it’s lovely to have such a large selection of ever changing cheeses each time we visit. Our favourite bar/restaurant in the UK without a doubt, so much so that we have asked the owners to cater for our future wedding too. We can’t wait to share this New Forest Gem with our friends and family. I highly recommend the cocktails, the best Espresso Martini I’ve EVER had.

We were reading the outside menu when the waiter came to us, the first good point, and not the least. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, everything is done to make you feel good. The ploughmans is excellent and large, and the toasties as well. We had an excellent lunch time. In summary, I warmly recommend this nice restaurant.

What a lovely sophisticated venue for meeting friends over a glass of wine or cocktail - I can recommend the strawberry mojito. A relaxed atmosphere but at the same time it felt classy. Under new ownership, the staff were great hosts and very welcoming. We'll definitely be back soon and when we do, we'll sample the food as the platters being served looked delicious.

Great place to eat, drink and chat to friends

This is the best wine and cheese bar we’ve been too! It is such a lovely, relaxing atmosphere! The owners are so welcoming and friendly! The food is incredible- the cheese fondue was amazing- we’ve just been skiing in the alps and the fondue here was so much better!! They helped us pick red wines to our taste and we loved them, a very personalised, friendly experience! We will be back for sure! P.s Frank the dog is adorable.

If I could give more stars, I would! My husband surprised me with a birthday gathering of 8 people here a few nights ago. The staff were so incredibly friendly and attentive and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and all the little extras on the cheese boards made it even more enjoyable. I have been to similar local chain cheese and wine bars and think the value for money was so much better at The Cellar. The cocktails were delicious too!!! Can't wait to come back again.

Delightful restaurant, very understated. My partner and I visited here over the New Year period and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, especially to our slightly nervous puppy. They recommended some great cheeses and wines, we look forward to returning!

Having been given a gift voucher for my birthday here, we had a most delightful lunch here in December 2023. The atmosphere and decor in The Cellar is very nice and the staff attentive and very welcoming. The shared platter we chose was with a selection of four cheeses and four meats of our choice was superb and accompanied by fruits, salad, olives etc. It was large and beautifully present and plenty for two . The wine too was very good. All in all and great experience in this gem in Ringwood

A little Gem of a place. The hospitality was second to none, they welcomed us and make you feel special. Even though it is a wine bar style place they welcomed my little one and were amazing her and accomadated her with a babichinno and a little cheese platter, most places like this wouldn't of been so warm when you have a kid in tow. The decor is quaint and cosy. Such a lovely afternoon and was sad to leave, will definitely be returning.

Amazing hospitality, they made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We had a toddler with us and they completely catered for her off menu. Food was fantastic too we had the baked camembert, will definitely go again.

Had a delightful lunch with great food and very friendly and attentive service. Everything was delicious but I especially enjoyed the ploughman’s lunch which featured delicious local cheese, ham and pork pie with fresh apples and grapes. What could be better than whiling away an hour with some fine wine, cheese and charcuterie. The restaurant is cosy and nicely decorated with a lovely atmosphere. Service was good and the food was very enjoyable. We will definitely be back when in the area again.

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. The food, the drinks & the atmosphere is phenomenal. A very social and comfortable environment for all. The staff are lovely and very tentative. Also must recommend the Camembert!

5 Stars in not enough for this wonderful place. We have been coming from London to visit here since 2018 and have visited this at least 8 times. All staff members can not do enough for you and the owner Helen recognises us each time we visit. The food is just amazing and the presentation is of such a high standard that it is a shame to eat. If you are thinking of visiting don't hesitate as you will not be disappointed. This is definitely the best place to eat and unwind in Ringwood. We are looking forward to visiting again soon.

Teresa, Tina and Charlotte are superb hosts. From recommending wines, cocktails and cheeses to taking requests for songs. Amazing food, great vibes a place where you can dine and the party.

One of the best restaurants we've been to. We loved it so much! It was the perfect atmosphere for a date night, or evening with friends. Cheese and charcuterie boards were really generous sizes and such reasonable prices. Helen and her husband (the owners) were really lovely. If you're staying in one of the nearby towns in the New Forest, I can't recommend visiting this place enough. Such a great find! Already looking forward to going again.

Where do I begin? Let's start with front of house. An incredibly friendly and happy welcome with staff willing to make the occasion extra special. The atmosphere is perfect, the music compliments the people in the room. Then we allow ourselves appreciate the food. Oh wow. Anyone can make a cheese board. But no-one can do it this good.
