As ever the Thompsons Close cafe team have looked after us with their friendliness and warm and kind atmosphere. An oasis of peace in a busy world.

The egg, cucumber, avocado and tofu sushi platter from BentoZo was fresh and very nicely presented, with a perfect balance of sweetness, creaminess, and crunch. Highly recommend!

We found this coffee shop thanks to the sign in the alley way . We came in through the side gate to a lovely garden space. Then headed inside where there are a couple of tables tucked away. We ordered 4 drinks and sweet and savory baked goods from what was available on display. The savoury scone was delicious and the peanut butter cookie cup was amazing. Great for a catch up over coffee.

We chose to spend our last night in Harpenden at Vinsanto as I had never been and I am so glad we did. The food was delicious, the staff were really friendly and it had a great atmosphere. It would be worth the drive back from our new house to come again.

We opted for here last minute on Valentine’s Day for a late lunch . Went for the special of chateaubriand which was good . Buzzy atmosphere and good staff engagement . Thanks to Emma, Michael, Jada and Valon fir a lovely afternoon

We booked a table for 7 on NYE 2024. We all had a great night, live singer and belly dancing. The food was great, the Service was excellent ! We also eat here on a regular basis and its a very good restaurant. Regards Richard and Noura Dear

Me and my boyfriend frequently get the chicken Katsu and sushi from here. It never disappoint, the chicken Katsu has a generous portion of Rice and Chicken, with plenty of sauce. The sushi is also always so fresh with a great variation to choose from. Staff are helpful and friendly, very lovely family.

Been coming here for years but really disappointed with the new menu . It’s poor value. Over priced smaller portions , £10 for a salad ?? It’s always been busy so the high prices appear as greed rather than necessity unfortunately. Won’t be coming back while it remains this expensive

Yet again an amazing team at zaza with fantastic food. Considering there was a table of 11 the service was first class . The food was well presented and delicious , from sea bass to pasta dishes and excellent selection. All the team agreed the Best restaurant in Harpenden .

Visiting at lunch, we had a lovely meal. However I would particularly recommend the service. It had proved impossible to park and on hearing we would have to leave, the staff gave up their own staff parking place just so we could stay. I am so glad they did as we had a wonderful meal and we would certainly come back again.

Happy buzzing ambience and delicious home cooked food. The calamari were cooked to perfection with the lightest delicious batter. I had the seafood 'Mare' risotto, which was creamy and rich with a hint of chilli. It is hard to improve on this, especially as it was all topped off with friendly and effortlessly efficient service. Thank you.

Me and my partner walked it and got seated swiftly, the interior was beautiful and the staff very friendly. The food was delicious, starters, mains and desserts, as well as being reasonably priced for great authentic food. I ordered a Green Curry with coconut and lime rice and my boyfriend got the Pad Thai. Both dishes were delicious. I would definitely recommend dining here and definitely be returning.

Absolutely delicious! Had the half chicken and it was so tasty, and great value for how much food there was. Will definitely be ordering again
