Emilios Harpenden Street Food in St Albans

Absolutely delicious! Had the half chicken and it was so tasty, and great value for how much food there was. Will definitely be ordering again

We saw this place en route to the leisure centre and thought "Lebanese rotisserie? Sounds interesting". So we decided to go there for a late lunch instead of for sushi. Best. Decision. Ever. Everything was absolutely divine. We were ravenous so hoovered up halloumi, falafel, a chicken shawarma and a lamb kofte, and everything was hot, perfectly cooked, utterly delicious. The chicken shawarma won the prize for the tastiest item, but it was all excellent. Added to this, service was super friendly and the vibe was very chilled - the proprietor was sitting with friends and playing the oud, so we got a little concert with our meal. We plan to come back every time we are in the area!

My second time eating at this place and both times were really exceptional. I had the chicken salad box. It was so fresh and delicious and the portion size was very generous for the price. You can tell it's made with love. The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Sat on the outside chairs as the sun was shining. Hope to come back soon!

Went to eat in for dinner. Lovely authentic Middle Eastern and Lebanese food. The staff are wonderful and welcoming. Each dish is made with great care and full of flavour. The produce tastes incredible and fresh. Highly recommend!

It was delicious. When we walked in, the first thing my son said was, "It smells like granny's food." Yes, I would recommend it.

Cannot talk highly enough about the food at Emilios. We love it all but the falafel is our favourite! Service is always great and they are the nicest people too.

Every time we order food they get it wrong. My chicken wrap was dry and over cooked . Chips soggy . Won’t be going back

As a regular customer I just wanted to give a little feedback. Usually we have ample chips, tonight really disappointing to receive just enough for three people, the lamb shawarma hardly had any lamb in it and one pickle! Not very warm either. Quite disappointing to be honest for the price as well.

I can't recommend this place enough. The food and the service are spectacular. Probably the only authentic middle eastern restaurant in Hertfordshire.

I love the food that Emilio’s serve, so when I realised that they had a pop up at the St Albans Comedy event, this weekend, I was delighted! As a Nutritional Therapist I always seek out the healthiest dine-out options. Emilio and his team make amazing food with wraps filled with the freshest ingredients with plenty of salad and I just love the pickles. Its not swimming in oil or anything greasy, its just wholesome, non-processed delicious food - they are perfect. And I always get the loveliest smile from the charming team. If you find them at your next event; I would highly recommend you choosing them.

I attended the St.Albans Comedy Garden festival where Emilio's had their pop up van as a first time customer. Unfortunately, I was served by the rudest man I had the displeasure of coming across. Firstly, he got our order wrong, and when we corrected what we originally ordered, he barked back “I don’t know what you want!” When we had clearly stated 2 chicken wraps?! He then began shouting at his team in front of us, which made the situation very uncomfortable -“This is no time for a break” “where are the chips, I need chips!” The food, (£25 for two chicken wraps and chips may I add!” was below average, soggy and had no traditional shawarma seasoning at all. Avoid.

Emilio’s couldn’t have been more helpful with our order. Really kind down-to-Earth service and the food is always fab!

came here for my brothers 19th and he said it was the best food he’d ever had. normally my mum can find something wrong with everywhere we go, but here, not a single complaint! amazing

Emilios is slowly changing the British food landscape by making food with actual flavour. Unfortunately, with British people's bland taste buds, it's still criminally underrated.

Just tried this place for 1st time....OMG!! The chicken wraps and roast potatoes were amazing.....best chicken wrap I've had .. definitely be returning.

Absolutely a lovely team and wonderful food. Favourites are the falafel wrap (kids love it too), roasted potatoes w/the garlic sauce, and the baclava (pistachio)...I don't even like baclava, but it's really lovely! So happy to have them in Southdown now as well as in town.

Popped in for lunch, absolutely incredible food, fresh ingredients, authentic flavours and prepared with genuine care and attention as well. Service was friendly and welcoming and the coffee is fantastic as well. You would be hard pressed to find better coffee on the high Street. Can't recommend enough.

Stopped here while on a bike ride. Great coffee. I also tried the pistachio baklava, only a zillion calories a cube, but tastes wonderful. Friendly service too. Nice to be able to support an independent rather than a big coffee chain.

Really tasty. Tried them at a food festival and the falafel wraps were delicious! There was a massive queue, but they were well worth the wait!

We've been visiting here every morning when we stay in Harpenden. The coffee and little sweet treats are both great. They do lunch as well. But one of best is you are always welcome by a big smile.

Fantastic street food vendor, the wrap o had was succulent and very tasty.

I had a tea and a piece of brownie on my way through on my motorbike. It was nice, but for what it was, it was expensive. However it was in the centre of Harpenden where they are probably used to paying that sort of price.

I bought an oat flat white take away and it took 25 minutes before it was cool enough to drink which was a shame. I also had to pay an extra 50p because I don’t want to drink baby cow juice - why?

Emilio’s is such a huge part of our high street. With a friendly warm welcome and the freshest and most delicious street food. Our kids love going there for hot chocolate and brownie and saying hello to the team there!

Consistently brilliant! The food is always delicious (I have trouble trying not to stop and ordering another fabulous wrap!). Service is friendly professional and always delivered with a smile! I can’t fault Emilio and his team; great food, service and good value.

Really delicious! Ordered a pastrami, cheese and gherkin toastie but they had run out of pastrami (not a surprise, it seems popular!) I told the lady that it was the gherkins that had swayed me so she made up a ham hock and cheese with gherkins for me. She was really helpful, polite and friendly and the sandwich felt like a real treat. Highly recommend!

I love going to Emilios! The food is excellent - so fresh, healthy and authentic - and the people are lovely and friendly. How lucky are we to have amazing street food (including coffee and cakes) all through lockdown.

Emilio's is fantastic and the people are great. When we went into lockdown there wasn't many places to get food and this was one of the few that were open. We were kept well fed and it was fantastic quality too. If I'm in Harpenden or nearby, I will almost always stop here for lunch because it's just so good.

Delicious and authentic Lebanese food; you won't find better in Hertfordshire. All the wraps are very tasty, both meat and vegetarian. They also serve amazing coffee and the staff are brilliant. Highly recommended.
