The best restaurants serving Default food in Guildhall York Yorkshire and The Humber

Went there at about 12:45, got sat down straight away, highly recommend the egg, avocado and salmon waffle and the full English. Absolutely gorgeous food, the staff were fantastic and for the price it was worth it. Going to make this a weekly thing

Authentic Japanese food by Japanese. 🇯🇵 Very impressed by the high quality food 🍱 I’m obsessed with both their Iced Matcha Tea with Cream and hot matcha. 😋

Stunning food with great service. Real authentic Italian dishes with a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend a visit

I visited Brew & Brownie during a quick day trip to York, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. With “brownie” in the name, I obviously had to go for a brownie and coffee — and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Rich, gooey, and perfectly paired with a smooth cup of coffee. A friend of mine recently visited York and I recommended it to her too — she loved it just as much as I did. The place has such a charming design, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. Great vibes, great people, great treats. What more could you ask for? Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in York!

No teníamos una reserva, pero encontraron una mesa para nosotros en el acogedor comedor de abajo. La vajilla era hermosa. Me llamó la atención nada más sentarnos. Todas las piezas artesanales tradicionales de Polonia. El personal fue muy amable y ofreció sus consejos sobre bebidas y platos. Pedimos pierogi, golabki y placek, con algunas cervezas recomendadas. Todo estaba delicioso. Estábamos tan llenos al final, que desafortunadamente no teníamos espacio para ninguno de los postres increíbles. También hacen un desayuno, aunque todavía estamos demasiado llenos de la cena para considerarlo!

This place is incredible, we were so impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our food which was imaginative fresh and delicious. We had a mixed platter and we couldn’t believe how generous it would be and the quality was superb, just perfect.

Sobre los precios extorsivos, llevé a mi nieto allí para un regalo después de la escuela y nunca volveremos. 2 latas de coca-cola 4 £ , 2 x patatas fritas y 2 x tostadas de queso y jamón, en total 23 £ , en cuanto al tostado que creo que fue frito, no recomendado, frito en mantequilla y rezumó. Mi nieto ani tuvo un bocado cada uno y eso fue suficiente, nos fuimos. Mi error fue no dejar que el equipo del café se diera cuenta de nuestro problema porque nos estaban sacando porque estaba cerrando.

Absolutely delicious! Steak cooked perfectly and was of a high quality. Sides delicious too, very generous with the garlic king prawns. Not the cheapest but would highly recommend!

This place is such a gem! Me and my partner visited for a trip to York and the food was fabulous! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Our servers were incredibly knowledgeable about all the food and drink they served and the whole experience was impressive. The crème brule and the mussels were some of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The sherry sangria was also uniquely refreshing. My partner mentioned that we were visiting for his birthday and they even brought his dessert out with a candle! Service was spot on, food was incredible and drinks were scrumptious. If we come back to York we will definitely be coming back!
