The best restaurants serving Default food in Ecclesall Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

The food is amazing, the portions are generous and the atmosphere is great at Manzil Spice. My favourite dish was the massala fish which came sizzling on a bed of onions on a hot skillet - and the chicken bhuna was lovely too. I couldn't eat it all as I had too many poppadoms! We went for an early dinner on a Saturday and there were already plenty of other tables filled, so I'd say it's a good idea to book.

Been coming hear around 20years! Amazing the tandoori butter chicken is SPECIAL!!!+ I even got my boyfriend hooked...now we are both fat and happy 🤣

Gran café, dos empleados fantásticos que son muy amables y nos cuidan. Asistimos a una reunión de negocios todas las semanas. Se ha convertido en nuestro lugar de elección. Esta área ha necesitado un buen café durante años y este es excelente.

Well where do I start …… ordered king prawns tempora batter just to keep us all going x4 …after waiting what comes out normal prawns in normal batter …… as an owner take note us Britons don’t appreciate being ripped off end of ……. King prawns are large and tempura batter vertually see through i had a very polite response saying this would be looked into I appreciate this very much and I hope when I go next time soon the king prawns will be acceptable size and the batter will be as stated tempura thankyou 😀🫰

Possibly the best sandwich shop I've ever been too. Always lovely fresh buns and two hot meat carvery options every day. They will dip your sandwich in the juices of the meat if you like! Delicious home made scotch eggs too. Get food there and a pint at the dark horse for the perfect banner cross lunch!

Bonito ambiente, pero muy limitada oferta de alimentos, solo tenía una gama básica de tostadas calientes. No WiFi. No volvería, ya que hay otros cafés locales que ofrecen opciones de comida más extensas.

Cuando empecé a venir aquí hace unos 5 años para el almuerzo del domingo en particular, me impresionó la comida y el servicio. El restaurante tenía un buen ambiente. Sin embargo, una visita el año pasado con la familia visitando desde el extranjero fue muy decepcionante. No estaba muy ocupado, pero tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para nuestra comida. Había poca atención a nosotros a pesar de ser una fiesta de 5 y tuvimos que levantarnos y pedir nuestras bebidas en el bar! El personal parecía ocupado conversando entre ellos. El 14 / 05 / 25 , reservé una mesa en línea para una fiesta de 3 (mi papá y mi hijo de 4 años. ) Pedí una mesa en el restaurante. Sin embargo, a la llegada nos dieron una mesa muy grande en la zona del bar que se había establecido como una mesa de restaurante. Pedí mudarme porque no me gustaba que mi hijo estuviera en el área del bar. A pesar de que el 95 % del restaurante estaba desocupado, me dijeron que no había otras mesas listas! Con un niño hambriento de 4 años, tomamos la mesa. Luego esperamos casi una hora para que la comida llegara con las personas que llegaron después de nosotros recibiendo sus comidas rápidamente. No es aceptable. La calidad de los alimentos parece haberse deteriorado. El pub se comercializa como un “Gastropub”, pero la comida es promedio. El servicio necesita mejorar. La calidad de los alimentos necesita mejorar. No voy a volver.

Amazing visit as usual, CJ was an amazing host and was very attentive. The food was cooked to perfection by TC and we would highly recommend a visit, We look forward to our next.

Second time in a month! we love the boneless chicken - tried the buffalo and hot honey - both delicious. Lovely service from Pheobe today :) Recommend - make sure you go hungry - generous portions.

Lovely menu and great selection of cakes and drinks. Dog friendly too!
