The best restaurants serving Default food in Ecclesall Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

Would have been nice to actually be able to review the restaurant and food! Tried 3 times to book this restaurant. Twice from the website on the email facility ( no response) and once on the phone. The gentleman promised to call me be back to confirm the booking, but still waiting 6 days later! Was trying to book this for my partners birthday, but now booked elsewhere. Assume you have plenty of customers if this is your attitude.

I have been there 3 times in the last few days for musical events. All excellent in different ways.

Excellent food and wine....in a very pleasant setting. The quality of the food and service is beyond expectation and is definitely a place that i would repeat visit on my next trip to Sheffield.

Ordered meals for 4 by phone. The food was ready for collection at the predicted time. All four of us found the dishes very tasty . Portion size was generous and the dishes were at the right temperature for eating after a 10 minute drive home Good value for money!

I really enjoy the flavours of Mediterranean food and the Olive House did not disappoint! Everything we had was cooked to perfection beautifully presented, and tasted wonderful. I don't think I've eaten lamb so tender before. The babaganoosh and spicy sausage starters set the palate up for main meal of excellent quality. The olive house is not the cheapest, but it's excellent value for the quality of food. Fete greeted us like long lost friends coped with our ridiculous indecision over wines and gave helpful suggestions about menu choices. We felt like family by the time we left The Olive house is a wonderful restaurant, it has seating in the basement for quiet romantic times. Light and airy feel on the ground floor ,toilets are downstairs so not sure how accessible it would be for disabled people. But I believe staff would go out of their way to make things work. We enjoyed our stay and hope we can get back to eat again.

Delightful little cafe - a new one for us. Excellent coffee, & we’re just sorry we couldn’t find room this time for some of the tasty cakes on display. Nice to be able to sit outside too, especially as it’s popular and therefore can get a bit noisy :). A place to come back to, definitely.

Gran café, dos empleados fantásticos que son muy amables y nos cuidan. Asistimos a una reunión de negocios todas las semanas. Se ha convertido en nuestro lugar de elección. Esta área ha necesitado un buen café durante años y este es excelente.

opened the kebab to put on the plate the bread was that soggy everything fell out on to the counter and floor i was fuming. may be sort out better package or serve separate.

This was our first visit we were made to feel very welcome the food and drinks were spot on will definitely be returning and will be recommending to friends.

Always a family environment and such pleasant staff Food is high standard and prices are really good

We went for my grandsons 18th birthday he didn't want a party. Food was delicious I had prawns for starters, ribs for main and chocolate torte for my sweet.

Top pub up in the clouds of one of Sheffield's 7 hills. Well recommended. Super location next to a lovely gift shop too.

Very good value for money, Amninder and Ramneek are two very friendly employees

Asked for 2 meat burritos and could not find any sign of meat, just rice beans and cheese, with very little seasoning and no salt at all. As it was take away I only noticed it at home, or else I would have asked them to remake it or get my money back. Will not return and do not reccomend.
