Went to see Man The Lifeboats Saturday 23rd Nov.., great night out. Great live music venue. Pizzas beforehand were delightful, house salad was equally as tasty and plenty of beers to choose from 🤩🥳😁

Great beers, great community pub and the staff are fantastic! Good value for money too. It was great last Friday as both coal fires were lit giving the pub a cosy, Winter feeling.

Nice pub, and the back room is a lovely little music venue. Good view of the stage and good acoustics. Cosy 😊

Great local, well supported by the community and a much loved music venue in the back. Wide selection of cask and keg beers from Thornbridge. The pizzas and side orders are delicious and served quickly. There's a small raised area they can cordon off for functions which we have used twice now to great effect. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Only came for a gig, good place for intimate music gigs

I have been there 3 times in the last few days for musical events. All excellent in different ways.

Brilliant pub, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice range of beers we stuck to zero/ low alcohol including Guiness 0.0 in cans and and lovely 0.5 IPA. We went on an evening a band was playing and the promoter Matt was brilliant at sorting seats for us pair of old crocks and was very welcoming. Definitely recommend.

A great airy pub with a fab selection of beers and live music in a room at the back of the pub. A fantastic opportunity to see a band in a small intimate venue. I'll be making this a regular haunt!

Good pizzas. Good beer including 0% on tap. Absolutely fantastic if you’re the designated driver and still want to get a few beers in! Staff were lovely and friendly too. Would recommend.

What more can I say? They serve Thornbridge brewery ales, which makes me a happy bunny. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Great experience overall!

Really big boozer with loads of cheap beers on tap. There was an event on so very busy...Great vibe, lots of 'free thinking' locals typical of the area. Green party probably do well around here😄

Busy on Saturday afternoons with young families but good atmosphere.

I have visited The Greystones on a few occasions; for quiet drinks with friends, gigs (including the excellent family-orientated Concerteenies), and family meals. The pizzas are always good, and the acoustics and sound system in the back are fantastic for such a small venue. The pub is a Thornbridge pub, so there's a lot of real ales and a few keg beers on - always well-kept. You either know the brewery or you don't, and if you do you either like their style or not, do I shan't talk about that side too much here. Prices are around £5 for a pint (I paid £4.40 for a hazy pale). Note that payment is card only - no cash accepted.

If you are serious about live music then this venue should be on your agenda.The Backroom at the Greystones hosts lots of gigs. The beers are good too.

Went to a gig in the back room - seated but around 20 more tickets than seats were sold with a few square ft to stand in - had to walk out early - very disappointing!

Excellent atmosphere, it fluctuates a lot depending on the gigs, but there’s a stable core of locals. Great beer, but pricey (hence the four stars)

We go every Tuesday for the quiz. Great staff, especially Scarlet. Love her ❤️ We didn't eat.

Great for a mid-week catch-up with friends. Some lovely affordable food options too - the garlic bread and Brie balls were both delicious. We also liked the free on-site car parking - very useful when visiting by car.

First time I've been there to see Lawrence Jones play and Blue Nation. The room where the gig was being held was a good size. If you want a seat, get there first. There is only a long bench against the wall. The atmosphere had a good vibe good all around the pub, even those who weren't going to the gig. Fast service at the bar even though it was busy. We didn't eat but the food looked good.

I mainly visit for the concerts in the backroom but this is definitely one of the best pubs in Sheffield. Friendly staff, great beer and the gigs are always a great joy. Photo included is Sheffield's finest Country RocknRoll outfit 'Calico Fever' from their recent crimbo ho ho ho down.

Went to see Kira Mac in the Back Room at Greystones, great personal sized venue, will be keeping an eye on upcoming bands, also looking forward to trying the food. Friendly bar staff busy place.

The Greystones is a critical venue for music in Sheffield, and more importantly, an awesome one. Great sound system and room, and such an awesome array of beers! The pizzas are pretty good too.

Fantastic service from Scarlett and the team. Great to be able to hire the lounge for a private function but still get the atmosphere of the pub.

Great pub, and lovely music venue at the back

Visited here for local event, live music for toddlers. The pub has a large venue room towards rear, with stage, seating and dance floor. Nice atmosphere and my children had a good time. Will keep an eye out for similar events in the future.

Having had good experiences at this pub multiple times before for drinks, food, and gigs, we recently hired out the back room for a baby shower event. The staff were absolutely amazing and I couldn't thank them enough! Great venue, fantastic drinks, and amazing service. They set the room up for us with tables and chairs and a buffet table, and were extremely attentive, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommend! Thank you to everyone, we will be booking again in future.

Lovely place Lovely staff brilliant concert venue (only downfall is if you don't drive, no Sunday buses, last bus to Sheffield centre, Saturday night 1922!!! + taxis hard to come buy)

Proper pub, and music venue. My first time ghere, but definitely not my last.

Intimate concert venue where no-one is too far from the stage. Good beer for interval refreshments, and food if you get there early. Plenty of roadside parking.

Proper pub. With live music that's often mind bending. Example. Young Liam Johnston from Sheffield. His " on a horizon " or really anything he does...It's almost he's playing lead and backing himself...On drums...Blew me away....He's on Spotify.... Awesome.

Great atmosphere in the Backroom at The Greystones seeing Imar perform. They engage with the audience and are so talented. Love the mix of instruments and the sets were perfectly put together. Well done Imar! Have a great tour.

Outstanding venue, staff and drinks. Some amazing roots bands.

Clean, bustling atmosphere, Staff at the Greystones rang us back to let us know specific times of the bands because of disability without us asking them to call us back after an ok answer! Great small venue, great staff ! Know nothing about drinks or food, soft seating along one side of the room for those that may need and so you can still be close to front !

It would have got 5 stars but for the fact it doesn't accept cash. It isn't a legal requirement for a person to have a bank account. What makes us a supposedly caring country is the people have choice.

Really fun place especially if u are in the AS music school community as u get to preform.

A perfect spot for a pint and food after a stroll up through Bingham Park… Excellent views over the City and in the summer there is lots of outdoor seating areas. Thornbridge pub so the usual lagers and ales. Usually have a pizza deal on mid week which is great value mid week. The gig room gets very popular and on gig nights make sure you get to the bar before half time!!
