The best restaurants serving Default food in Selby Yorkshire and The Humber

Very pleased to have found the chip shop on google, fish & chips were excellent as was the service. Those that know will already know it’s cash only but thought it best to add that in my review.

My husband and i had a lovely lunch today and we were served by the very friendly Tania.just as i was ordering our food a man came in and said "are these tables free" Tania said "i won't be a minute i'm just serving this lady: and with that the man said " you're very rude" and stormed off.Tania was definitley not rude it was him.why do some people have no patience! Stooped here today on my bike and wow, food amazing and excellent value for money, sat outside in the sun but indoor seating available. Fast service, very friendly, Will defo return!

Pool table, good pints and reasonably priced. Fire is lovely on a cold day.

Yorkshire pudding not crispy or much taste like it was frozen, breakfast ok but forgiven because it is quite cheap, however service good and pub looks good inside. Worth going for a light breakfast and a pint, not sure I would risk a meal though after that soggy Yorkshire.

Had 2 superb meals reasonably pricedgood size portions

First time in for a Sunday lunch and since before lockdown. Wasn't disappointed, food was as good as always and the staff? A credit to the Inn. Thanks guys

Great touch to our hire boat experience, it’s near millennium bridge and the ice cream is Beautiful and you can pull your boat up to the side of it which is great fun.

What a great find. We live within the local area and decided with friends to go out for dinner and drinks. Trying to get taxis in our village is always difficult unless pre booking. The Sloop Inn solved this problem for us as we both have camper/motorhome so picked here as we could park up for the night. Lively atmosphere and the food was proper pub food. Tasty perfectly cooked and amazing service. The lady serving was so friendly and welcoming we will definitely be returning. Great pub great food and an amazing sleep in our motorhome.

Vista agradable a una sala de estar al aire libre. Tuvimos un desayuno pequeño y grande todo cocinado a la perfección y productos de buena calidad muy sabrosos. Sin duda probaremos su almuerzo del domingo en una futura visita.

sadly disappointed with this venue The food was ok plenty of it Our biggest concern was it was so cold that we ate our lunch in our coats I know that energy bills are high at the moment...but some heating would of been nice....my phone suggested it was 13 degrees...im of the opinion if you are open for business then your customers should be happy with food....drinks....and warmth

A regular stop off whenever we’re in Selby. The food is fantastic whether it’s a quick snack, full on Sunday lunch or special occasion. Mat, Gemma, Di, Chaba & all the staff are polite, respectful and… efficient. An enjoyable experience. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Always 10/10, the best Indian restaurant we have ever tried. nothing ever compares to Cumin Lounge the portion size is huge, especially the naans, the price is so reasonable, the lads who work there are all so friendly and work so hard. will continue to come back everytime! thankyou!!

Good food with optimum portions Service slow, unfortunately the restaurant had one boss and two new recruits with 75% of capacityfilled.. It was chaos at times. The chef was so overwhelmed that there was no chance of ordering takeaways. Probably management should address the shortage of staff!
