sadly disappointed with this venue The food was ok plenty of it Our biggest concern was it was so cold that we ate our lunch in our coats I know that energy bills are high at the moment...but some heating would of been nice....my phone suggested it was 13 degrees...im of the opinion if you are open for business then your customers should be happy with food....drinks....and warmth

Came here for Sunday lunch, which was lovely, food was piping hot and so was the plate. Meat was lovely and presented nice and plenty of choice of vegetables and the cauliflower cheese was to die for. We will be back very shortly 👍

Called in by chance we had a fantastic Sunday lunch ,the beef was cooked perfectly the vegetables were fantastic this has to rate as one of the best Sunday lunches my wife and I have ever had.

We have just come home and wanted to write a review immediately because you really shouldn't waste any time getting yourselves down to The Ulleskelf Arms! We had a three course Sunday dinner and it was incredible. We started our visit with a couple of drinks in the lovely sunny beer garden and our order was taken outside so we didn't need to rush. A small but perfectly formed selection of starters, mains and desserts with a few specials available. We opted for the goats cheese and beetroot special and the pate to start, followed by two roast dinners and then sticky toffee and a brownie for dessert. The food was lovely! Tasty, well presented and potions that were big enough to feel full but not overwhelming. The quality of the food was great and flavours were lovely. It felt like a posh Sunday dinner but without the posh prices. Three courses plus 6 drinks was £70. Also the service was wonderful. Attentive but not too much, really friendly and we weren't rushed at all. We can't believe it wasn't busier... people are missing a trick! It was really delicious and we will be back (probably this week for the quiz night!!). Also, it is dog friendly inside as well as outside which was great for our pampered pooch... especially when the chef gave him some bits of beef!!! Thanks to all the staff... we would highly recommend!

We visited last week for Sunday lunch and we can not fault it. The food was amazing and is definitely one of the best roasts we have had in a long time. The owners are lovely too, great service and very attentive. We will definitely be coming back😋

Not eaten Sunday lunch at our local since the new owners took over but gave it a go this weekend and was so glad we did. The roast dinners were excellent (choice of beef, chicken, pork plus veggie) and were accompanied by crisp yorkshire puds and delicious roast potatoes. The dessert menu is not the biggest but we devoured sticky toffee puddings and delicious cheesecake. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Great visit today. Staff super friendly and efficient. Ate the best Chicken Parmigiana burger- full, crispy breast of chicken, loaded with a gorgeous parmigiana sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. Accompanied with slaw, fries and salad. Great value at full price but included in special offer 2 burgers for £20. My husband’s beef burger was also impressive along with his generous portion of onion rings. Highly recommend this pub.

We’ve had Sunday lunch here a few times and it’s always been lovely. Generous portions and first class food. Just been for the bank holiday burger offer and it was amazing. Delicious burgers, great choice and all four of us had something different and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Great friendly staff too. The gardens looking good too - can’t wait for summer.

Just had the chicken supreme, and my wife had the risotto - top drawer! Washed down by a pint of White Rat, in top form, and my good lady had the Sauvignon. You need to eat/drink here if passing (if not head here anyhow).

The new Owners of this lovely village pub are a breath of fresh air! Great atmosphere great beer, great food. Lovely people what’s not to like?

My opinion of this place has changed since my last review and now I would say it is a 2 star in terms of service and food but it gets an extra star for their great taste in music
