Nos encanta la señora cuando visitamos Cawood, siempre una comida tan deliciosa que ofrece ingredientes de alta calidad, muchas opciones y opciones con el menú de reserva anticipada, una ubicación demasiado encantadora y Marc no puede hacer lo suficiente por todos ustedes en un LUGAR FABULOSO

Mi esposo y yo decidimos intentar el almuerzo del domingo después de que un amigo lo recomendara y no nos decepcionó. La comida era muy buena al igual que el servicio, sin duda volveremos.

Fuimos por un desayuno de Navidad - Grupo de los 11. La comida y el servicio era excelente. Mark y su otro colega fueron muy serviciales. Gracias. Lo recomendaría para familias para el desayuno. Vistas amante también.

Fui aquí anoche como un grupo grande. Increíble comida y servicio por todo el personal aquí. La comida de todos era encantadora. Tuve la paté, cordero y pudín de toffee pegajoso. Recomendaría probar aquí y definitivamente volveré otra vez.

We only had a one night stop over at the caravan site but loved the supper meal and the breakfast meal at the Lakeside Kitchen. The staff are so nice and nothing is too much trouble. We had takeaway on the night of our stay and then a small breakfast, sitting outside with our little dog, the following morning.

Arrived with no problems. Went to Mrs B’s for a late lunch and the food was fantastic. All was home made and my son said his chicken nuggets was the best he has ever had! The touring area is small but really peaceful, fully serviced pitches. We will be back without a doubt. We were only worried about the road through the small village. It is a little tight but we managed.

Very attentive service with good quality produce over the Christmas and New Year period coupled with family entertainment.

I popped in here for lunch a few weeks ago with my daughter after finding the restaurant on a google search and liking the sound of a 'lakeside' lunch. Well for starters, the term 'lakeside' is slightly misleading as whilst there is indeed a lake in the vicinity, the orientation of the restaurant means there's no view of the lake when sat inside.. which was disappointing. The décor had a few nice homely touches, but overall was quite tired looking... and along with the sound of a local radio station babbling away at too-high-a-volume in the background the atmosphere wasn't great. I ordered a soup which was perfectly nice, and the calamari... which were freezer-to-fryer type cheapy calamari and not particularly enjoyable. I cannot fault the service though, with perfectly friendly staff and food arriving quickly after ordering. For me, Mrs B's didn't really offer enough for me to go out of my way for a revisit, though I may call in for a coffee & cake if passing. On that note, I didn't sample the cakes on my visit, but they were huge slices at very reasonable prices!!

We’ve just spent two weekends at Cawood Park, we ate in Mrs B’s Kitchen on both occasions, the gammon is gorgeous, I’m sure the rest of the menu is just as good but I stuck with the gammon.

Staying at the adjoining caravan park saw the good reviews so thought I’d give it a go I’m pleased we tried the first night as I now know I don’t need to be driving around looking for somewhere nice to eat excellent price on the early menu and food was spot on the chap serving was very attentive food fresh and piping hot desert delicious

Called here for a pot of tea and a bacon sandwich whilst out cycling as it was a bank holiday and my regular café was closed. I was really impressed by the friendly staff and locals who were having breakfast and said morning. The café is clean and tidy, I sat outside in the sun enjoying the view of the lake, perfect Sunday morning stop. Food was excellent as was the tea all served by a lovely friendly lady. Would recommend!

The batter is light and crisp and the chips are hot and golden. The peas are just right and the portion size is perfect. The bread and butter pudding is traditional, served with fresh fruit and custard. The staff are warm and friendly. The environment is comfortable and quirky (mixed hard back chairs, pink flamingo lamp shades and union jack cushions). And the bill very reasonable. (Mains are about £10 and puddings are a fiver). Face down your prejudices about eating in a restaurant on a campsite; this dining experience is good. It is very good indeed.

Everything from Breakfast to lunch and then dinner is very impressive. The food is consistently lovely with regularly changing menu's. The dining area is separate from the bar but any drinks can be served at your table. Mark and his team are enthusiastic, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to keep customers happy. The food is good quality and consistent with a good range. Recommended!

Excellent breakfasts. Excellent sunday lunches. Highly professional staff. We have been with kids and nothing fazes them ( you know what kids are like with foodchoices! )

Fuimos una familia de 7, todos nos estábamos hospedando en el parque con nuestra caravana de Cawood y mis padres en la suya, la comida era deliciosa y el personal muy atento. Sin duda, uno que desea volver a. Fue muy útil para poder tener nuestra comida para llevar para comer de vuelta en la caravana también.

Nos hemos alojado en el Parque Cawood varias veces en nuestra autocaravana. Sin embargo, normalmente ir al pubs locales para cenar, pero decidimos probar la Sra. ser de cocina junto al lago el sábado por la noche debido a la comida por debajo de fuera. Cuatro de nosotros tuvimos entrantes y plato principal y todo lo que puedo decir es WOW! Olvídate de "pub grub", este era mucho mejor que cualquier cosa que hemos tenido en la localidad. Todo, desde el servicio atento y educado, vajilla y cubiertos, brillante tamaño de la porción, la calidad de la comida y el precio fueron todos justo en.

We recently had an evening meal at Mrs B's which I'm sorry to say we were not particularly impressed with. We opted for the early bird option as we didn't see the point in paying full price for the same items on the regular menu. My husband and I both had the fish and chips with sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The chips were overlooked and had an unpleasant taste to them and the pudding a bog standard microwave cheapy. We felt that even at the reduced price it was overpriced for what we had.

This review is for the touring park also - Just got back from a 3 night stay, check in is really quick and found our pitch no problem. The pitches are really spacious and fully serviced and the AstroTurf is a nice touch. The site is clean and well kept as are the facilities.The swimming pool was smaller than expected but wasn't a problem as me and the kids had the pool to our selves. Now the not so good - the showers could do with being a lot more powerful as they have a large shower head in the roof and the flow isn't quite good enough. Sunday, we fancied a lunch and were told we need to book a table for Sunday lunch and 2:30 was available, we thought fair enough! However when we got to the restaurant early for a pint or two there wasn't anybody in there, when I asked if we could have our lunch early I got an answer of not until after 1pm, it was 1:30? I found this very unusual that others were being served food also. We finally went in to the table at 2:20 and ordered, 40 mins later the food arrived and we tucked in. I do have to say that the food was nice though.Not sure if we are cynical but we felt that members (the owners of the statics) seem to get preferential treatment when it came to being served.Overall it is a nice site.

Stayed at Cawood caravan park a few weekends and ate in Mrs Bs at least once over each weekend. Food was always good & good value for money and always served with a smile. The whole place is great and we can't wait to return. Our fav meal was definitely the breakfasts and it set us up for the rest of the day. Only negative point we could say about the whole caravan park & restaurant is that the pool was far to hot and everyone we spoke to said the same. We will definitely return though :-)

Stayed in motorhome for 2 nights while touring Yorkshire. Lovely peaceful site in quiet village. Has a cafe and swimming pool. The pool is so warm. Staff lovely and friendly They opened the clubhouse so we could watch England v Wales. Will definitely use again when in area. We came into village over bridge in picture.

Had a few meals here never had a bad meal, superb food whenever we have visited with our caravan.The service is very good all the staff are very pleasant and very helpful.

Visited family at Cawood park and they took us to Mrs B's, I have to say the service and food where terrific, I would highly recommend this place to any one in the area, One thing to note, it only opens Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but you won't beat it for value and quality

A day after experiencing the worst of the Pearl Tree Restaurant at Monks Cross, what a delight on Boxing Day to eat real food cooked perfectly and delicious!Staff are attentive and helpful and the atmosphere quaint and chic! Ahhhh!

We have been here on numerous occasions and thought we should share our thoughts on it. This time we went for Sunday lunch, you dont have to have the Sunday lunch as there is a varied menu also. We decided on the roast beef dinner, melt in the mouth meat, lovely yorkshire pudding, crisp and fluffy roast potatoes, 2 veg and cauliflower cheese which was superb. I followed that with Mrs B`s sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and my wife with the apple tart with toffee apple ice cream, just lovely. Service as always is great, would reccommend to anyone

Cawood park is caravan park for both touring caravans and static vans .set in an ideal spot for tadcaster, york,selby,having spent 3 weeks at the site to recuperate after an operation i have to say i could not have picked a better place.the staff could not have been any more helpful from the owners who work just as hard as as the ground staff to the bar staff/restaurant staff all had time to pass the the time of day and were always on hand .the site is in pristine condition with flowers ,nice cut grass.there is a nice area outside the lakeside kitchen if you chose to have food outside which i can highly. try the breakfast so much to chose from and a well put together menu throughout.fishing is free if you are staying on site as is the the swimming pool.live entertainment at the weekends.would recommend this park

Was staying on the touring site for the weekend we invited four relatives to join us for sunday lunch everything was fresh well cooked and ample portions would highly recommend Mrs Bs for a meal anytime.

My partner and I called in for a meal around 6pm on very wet and windy evening. We chose from the Early Bird menu which is served between 5 and 7pm. I had the soup which was potato & leek and my partner had goats cheese & leek tart followed by lamb & mint pie for mains. The quality of the food was excellent which tasty and hot! It was £10 for two courses which was great value. Will be returning for more soon!

Called in today. Couldn't decide between sweet or savoury so it ended up afternoon tea for two !! (£8 per person). Sandwiches, crisps, selection of cakes, cream scone and tea. Was lovely but felt full and guilty afterwards. Lovely setting they have decorated it really nice. Staff were pleasant too.

Not really sure why this has only been reviewed twice - but easy to see why both reviews are excellent. This was a super meal in lovely surroundings with a server who was superb (this was 2:00ish on Sat 11th April). Will defo return for more

Good was great, potions huge and staff were fantastic. Would recommend to anyone! Gammon portion is huge, pigs must be well fed :-)

We stay at Cawood caravan site often and eat at Mrs B;s every time.It serves great well prepared food from a ever changing menu. Beautiful food always. We have never eaten a meal there that was not perfect.served by efficient, friendly staff.
