The best restaurants serving Default food in Cawood with Wistow Selby Yorkshire and The Humber

A very pleasant restaurant, the food was lovely and it's in a very pleasant village. Only problem was they don't accept card payments, no signs or mention before we had spent £46. Very embarrassing when we came to oay

This tearoom is a gem of a place. The staff are lovely. The atmosphere is wonderful. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The food is freshly made and delicious! If you like freshly baked, great food, you will be in heaven! If the carpark is full, you can park on the road in the village.

Met a friend for coffee here. Wasn't expecting much during these times of covid, but it was a delight. Sat outside under an umbrella big enough to keep off a shower. Excellent coffee served by a very friendly young student waitress. Delightful people and a lovely little dog. Will be back.

Post Office and café. A regular stop on bicycles for a sausage roll to keep as going. Lovely.

Great Sunday dinner recommend it to anyone and the service was brilliant

Been meaning to try this place for a while so after a long day at work with no desire to cook tea I called in. Very welcoming staff, fish and chips very nice and prices not over the top. I will definitely be back!

We decided to order pizzas from The Castle Inn instead of our usual takeaway. Great decision, pizzas were so tasty and such good value. Ordered them for a set time and enjoyed a lovely glass of wine whilst we waited. Won't be going back to our old takeaway anytime soon.

my daughter took me here tonight for Mothers Day Food - Amazing it really tastes as good as it looks - But for us the staff were great they all and I mean all were friendly and went out of their way to help - this made our night out love it xxx

Pizza's we quadruple banging! 2nd time here and the food was exceptional and the campsite is nice and clean which was a bonus!

We have been here many times and it used to be a wonderful pub. However there is new management, staff and chef and boy can you tell. What an absolute disaster!!!! From walking in to rude bar staff, being told just sit anywhere although we had booked a table wasn't a problem as there was lots of space. Usually on a Saturday it's heaving...not any more and you can tell why. Gone has the interesting menu and specials board.. the food used to be amazing!! We were asked twice if we were having food...again we had booked a table...for food !!!.definatley a case of the left hand not talking to the right. As the waitress again asked if we wanted food she told us loads of people were complaining and that it had been a really hard and long day!! We ordered...from the specials as the usual menu was the Sunday lunch menu and not really appealing. So 2 orders of rib were in..only to be told sorry we only have 1 left!!! That made our mind up....we finished our drinks..it took 10 minutes to pay the tab as the staff were running round as the owner was just sat watching her business implode. ..seemingly for the last time unless the previous team come back again. Great atmosphere and the staff were second to none. The food was absolutely delicious, I would highly recommend this place. I came for Sunday roast that was amazing and I will definitely be back through the week to sample the full menu

Highly recommend the Fenton Flyer in Church Fenton. The owners are lovely and do so much for charity and the community. It’s lovely that they put on so many fantastic events to bring people together. Excellent choice of beers. Friendly local residents. Dog and child friendly. Pool room and a weekly quiz night. What’s not to love? Definitely recommend giving them a visit.

We've just had takeaway fish and chips with peas and they were INCREDIBLE ♥️ Definitely recommended!

Just had the most amazing pie and peas at the ferry inn the manageress was very pretty and done a great job on the food she must have chef bone in her somewhere Will definitely be going back for more
