The best restaurants serving Default food in Batley East Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

My partner and I dined at Armaan for the first time last week following regularly reading great reviews on local Facebook pages. The reviews were very accurate indeed! We arrived around 6.30pm and the restaurant was very quiet - I expect it gets busier as the evening goes on. The waiter was very friendly and courteous and the restaurant had a very comfortable and spacious feel to it. To start, we ordered paneer pakora to share which was very generous and oozing with flavour. For the main, I ordered the chicken tikka masala and was pleased to find that it could be customised to my taste - mild to moderate. My partner ordered the Karahi fish and also praised the infusion of spices. The main meals came with a sundry side and between us we opted for the pilau rice and naan - both great portion sizes for sharing. All the food was freshly cooked, not greasy and great value for money. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and independent restaurant experience with great prices.

Loaded box was good but food was cold. Pizza was nice. Parmesan was not great, the chicken was burnt and dry underneath and toppings were were also over done. You seem to be doing this a lot lately over cooking the food. Please look in to this.

we went on Saturday for a friend's 60th birthday there was 13 of us the food and service was really good.we took a cake and asked if we could have some plates to put the cake on for everyone to have a slice but when we got our bills at the end we was all charged £1 each for the plates I think this is disgusting I've never been charged for this in any other restaurant.

Came back here again for another quesadilla and it didn’t disappoint. Staff are friendly, food is top quality and the portions generous. At just a fiver for this quesadilla it’s a bargain. Try to get over here as often as I can. Highly recommended.

Me and my boyfriend LOVE this place! We found it one evening on our way to another restaurant and so glad we did! We've been about 4 times now. The staff are so welcoming and the food is delicious. The prices are reasonable too. This place is definitely one of our favourites and we will be back again soon!

A lovely small sized dessert shop. Has eveything you'd expect from a place like this. Nice seating area too.

It was okay ok my first visit, only because the guy who does coffees there was very friendly and the man who offered to put pistachio cookie in a microwave for few sec for it to be gooey and tasty. Thumbs up lads. But the girl at the till is just fully switched off from the process with zero communication skills. Like simple question what beans do you use confuses her and she doesn’t know what to say and how to respond. And not being friendly at all. Second visit, my sister came in 3:45 just before I got there and they’ve told her they’re closed. when I arrived I went in and the girl just sat in the booth said we’re closed, I was like are you not open until 4pm tho, only wanted to get the drink and a cake for takeout. Which she went and did for me, but why saying to my sister you’re shut then before me? Confusing.

After a mix up on just eat and a slightly wrong order being delivered ( not the fault of Franko's) , I have to say I can't fault them. The (Wrong order ) was delivered extreamly quickly , and after a short phone call to put it right, worth the extra ten minute wait. The food was hot fresh and delicious. The service was fast and professional. Well done guys.
