Retro's Cafe in Kirklees

Well ,our order cocked up today and after ringing up and complaining about Jade windows order been wrong etc , they apologised full breakfast sent again and another apology and a free breakfast again on Monday Fantastic after care and problem solving ,plus food is good for 6 /5 For service when wrong but mainly right and food spot on give yourselves a big pat on the back and thank you from all at jade windows batley

spothave a great menu only ever had a brekkie though lessly clean staff excellent and always smiling

I’ve been coming to retros for a fair while the owner is fabulous and nothing is ever too much trouble. The bacon is amazing so thick and tasty none of that wafer thin stuff. Three sausages in your sandwich is standard and I love the familiarity of “usual love?” You’ll be hard pressed to find a butty as tasty and as reasonable anywhere. Love it Xx

I visit here regular but today eggs was raw tomatoes was freezing mushrooms was over cooked one set of toast was burnt and hard other toast was floppy with loads of butter on, bacon was dripping in oil, she gave me two eggs cause one had burst and they was drenched in oil too. chips was drenched in oil too and they was for a child plus they was 4 hairs found within our food not happy at all. we usually go when they is one lady alone working today they was two and together they didn't know what they was doing. ran out of bread too.

Never been here before but it was a real pleasure. The.food was excellent,, the service wad superb and the staff were really friendly and funny ! Highly recommended.

the toasties are to die for & the cappuccino was real coffee tasting you can sit outside in side or take away the service is good and they do deliver to work places
