Oodles Batley in Kirklees

put the wrong chicken in my box, ordered crispy chicken they'd put a really spicy chicken in instead and it ruined my whole box as It was too spicy

Ordered the food at 6pm did not receive girls food until 8:06pm absolutely disappointed especially the girls had to open there fast. Quickly had to make other stuff for them to eat.

Food was wrong, late, cold and staff were unhelpful.

Delicious as always. My son won't have a chinese from anywhere else

The food was good as always but the dip advertised with the dumplings was missing which was disappointing. This is the second time that they have been missed on a delivery that included dumplings to this house (previously ordered by another person not myself) hopefully this attention to detail will be picked up going forwards. That aside, the food was good

Very late delivery. Over 2 hours. But food, despite being cold, was nice.

We got two regular boxes with rice, noodles and mixed chicken dishes and genuinely it was the nicest we have ever had from here…. Really tasty, everything was cooked well and it was nice and warm on arrival.

when I order with no vegetables or onions in my food I expect it to come without them in especially if I have tolerances to them but of a joke

Unfortunately the bento boxes was far too spicy and enabled. The chicken in the boxes was nice but the noodles was far too spicy I had to throw them out. The children’s box was lovely though my daughter enjoyed it.

I had a great experience at this place. Staff were on point and helpful in talking me through the menu / options. Clean place with plenty of room to eat in. The food was cooked very well, tender and tasty. I made use of their Tuesday lunch hour deal that they've got for a limited period. I'll be visiting again.

the sauces etc were ok but the food has to be one of the worst I've had, got a mix of chicken and udon noodles and chips, as well as a BBQ chicken wrap, the chicken was tasteless, almost like cardboard, and didn't have a nice texture, the noodles were bland as well, and same on the wrap, chips were ok but that's about it

how spicy do you need to have your food?! I got medium box with rice and noodles and katsu chicken and crispy chicken too spicy and the bentonite box woth rice and beef, far too spicy I have had to there it on the bin which I a shame as I like food from here! disappointed

Food arrived cold which could be because of the traffic. Udon noodle- never again! So unappetising, very dark, horrible. Really disappointed.

said around a 25-40 minute wait and ended up being over an hour and when food came it was dry and cold.

Food here is absolutely gorgeous its my favourite takeaway it's good value when you consider your ordering 4 different dishes for around 8-10 pounds and the salt and pepper halloumi may be the best thing I've ever eaten.

The food from Oodles in Batley has the potential to be really nice, but unfortunately, it has arrived cold both times I’ve ordered. It’s such a shame because the flavors are good. On the positive side, the delivery was quick, and the driver was polite, which I appreciated. If they could improve on keeping the food hot during delivery, it would make a big difference.

Disappointed with my experience at Oodles in Batley. The food arrived cold, which ruined what could have been a nice meal. This has happened on more than one occasion, so it seems to be a recurring issue. Delivery was quick, and the driver was polite, but unfortunately, that doesn’t make up for the cold food.

ordered food at 5.38 estimated delivery 6.20 now 19.50 absolutely shocking it's saying ordered delivered at 8.10 erm no it hasn't ...I've spoke to restaurant myself who say the order not even been picked up

Beware, these guys are frauds and will try to overcharge you. When you confront them, they will say the menu is old and the price have gone up.

The chilli on the salt and pepper chips was a crazy amount and inedible. The Katsu sauce showed no chilli and that was also too spicy! Almost £20 in the bin!

The price is extortionate compared to the size of what they offer. I got a large box which won't even full an adult for about £9 Had to wait for 15 mins just for a box

Way too over priced and for that price I expected consistency, which you don’t get here one day it will be good the next day the chicken will be like chewing gum, a large box of egg fried rice is wayyy too over priced, won’t be coming back until you sort the consistency out and the prices ! So, coming back after 2 years to see if they have improved, I have just paid £8.50 large box for food that has made me only half full 😅 prices are the same and portions have shrunk almost half in size, steer clear from this place! Got a large box, I can’t believe the portion size compared to when they opened new, the chicken portion has become nearly of of what I used to get, I will not be coming back until you sort your portion size, the portions does not reflect the price I’m paying for!!’ The food itself to buy raw costs £3! The food is absolutely lovely BUT it was left on my doorstep without anything to notify me that it was there, no knock on the door, no message, email or anything. If i hadn't gone outide for something else who knows how long it may have been there.

Amazing food after a long week of work I come down to oodles batley and have a nice large salt and pepper chicken with plain chips it is the most mouth watering savoury dish I absolutely love and much respect to the employees at oodles they truly have a pure heart food is fresh and tasty I give it a 10/10 If you haven’t been it is a must try once in your lifetime

Unfortunately the food was cold and not quite what we was expecting when we ordered the box meal. Both meals were cold and just ok.

Food is always tasty but value for money is variable. Paying £2.50 for extra crispy prawns and getting a grand total of two in the box feels a bit steep.

wasn't what I really expected, it was only luke warm, and all together in one box.

All the chicken just tastes the same no matter what dish you choose, the udon noodles are awful and the chips are so soggy. None of us enjoyed it.

I used to order all the time it’s a shame cos their food was amazing. It’s really gone downhill. Very dry and lack of flavour. I thought it was just the 1 time they made my order like that so I gave them another go and it was the same unfortunately. Also their portion sizes are a joke and overpriced.

I don't normally do reviews, but felt I had to, on this occasion, I was really looking forward trying food from this place, but I'm afraid it was a very, very BIG disappointment, as I was shocked first of all on the portion sizes, as I ordered large, very expensive for the the portion sizes, I had to cook something else my self to add to the meal, it was that small... still hoping for the best, so hoping it tasted nice, but the food was terrible, all items were in one box all soggy, piled on top of soggy rice, separate chicken wings, but still soggy, all items tasted really queer, but continued to eat, BIG mistake, as later that evening, my partner were rushing for the toilet, all evening, just a nightmare... I should have read past reviews, PLEASE AVOID !!!

The food was delivered on time and it was absolutely lovely. We have been looking for a decent takeaway that sells halal chinese food for ages. On time, lots of choice & top food. Would 100% recommend. Love it.

Very expensive and small portions. I got Katsu curry but really tasted more like sweet chilli. Average food way too pricey.

Feel delivered on time, it was lovely and hot and the box was packed full, glad I didn’t go large as wouldn’t have managed it even if I’d liked it but. Unfortunately the food was just ok, good chicken, not cheap stuff like some take away use but unfortunately I couldn’t taste the difference between the 2 flavours- I especially could take the sweet and sour! The rice was lovely but the noodles slimy and goey. Pity as handy daytime opening hours
