Chum Chee's Diner in Kirklees

One of the best food places I’ve ever had! We got the new Pathani chicken this time. It was incredibly succulent and cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I’ve never tasted this kind of seasoning before; it was truly unique and delicious. Keep up the amazing work!

This place is amazing 1st time I went here after positive feedback from friends and all the google reviews. Donner to Fatayer to the burgers were amazing I rate this place 10/10. Staff are really friendly and the waitress was exceptional. Food was really fresh & portion size was spot on so value for money too.

What can I say? It's definitely a pleasant surprise this little diamond of a place. We tried their fattayer pizza, let me tell you, looks are deceiving. This pizza is like a gorgeous double-decker in an exceptionally good way. Try it, only then will you realise what I'm talking about. The service provided by the two young waitresses was exceptional.

First time trying Chum Chee’s. Went for a Piri piri chicken and Donner fatayer pizza. Really impressed with the quality of ingredients and how well it’s put together. Chum Chee’s was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a very long time and at a reasonable price £9.50. Filling was stacked all the way up to the crust and the cheese was cooked to perfection.

Orderd 2 mclaren burgers through phone order bare in mind prior to collection on phone the worker had told me it was £6 each even when i looked on the website it was same price and bare in mind that call was 15mins before collection got there and worker behind til says 2mins just making ur chips wasnt 2mins was actually 20mins more and top of that had the audacity to say to tell me “your orders £16”!? Scamming me right at the end when he could said that on call or u couldv just updated ur prices on ur menu its not about the money its about taking the mic and scamming someone out disappointed wont be returning back ever again!

I recently visited chumchees for donner and fattayer, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. Jazkallah khair Chumchees, mashallah amazing food. The lamb was seasoned to perfection flavour and taste 10/10 no words can describe how good the food was. All I will say is I recommend everyone to try it. Jazkallah khair.

Never let down when ordering from Chumchees. 💯 Ordered a few full chicken platters for Iftaar with the family and they went down amazingly well. From the flavours to the presentation - everything was spot on M’A. Another great food experience as expected with Chumchees! 👌🏽

Food has always been on point every time I've been. Highly recommend.

First time I ordered from here, will NOT be doing so again Burger price was OK but a bit on the high side. But then burger bun was burnt in the inside so not edible. Not browned or gently toasted but black burnt. They just let that be used which is cheap and tacky on their part. Also had 2 pizzas, both tasted a bit meh but also became rubbery very quickly. So only about 2 or 3 slices of each were eaten. Plus they are expensive as well. So overall a huge waste of money and can be added to my never order again from list. Plus they have no card machine so they have to send you a link to your mobile phone to pay. Why not just get your own card machine in the store?

First time visiting Chum Chee, and I was impressed with the atmosphere—it’s a great place to dine. However, the chips didn’t quite meet expectations; they felt like they were from a local supermarket and lacked quality. Improving the chips would make the meal even better. Overall, a good experience.

I always come down for pizza’s and I’ve never left disappointed, would definitely recommend to others.

Ordered delivery from Uber. Food arrived late, some of it was cold and poor taste all round. Garlic bread was cold and rock hard, chicken steak with steak sauce was not steak but a curry!

Always consistent and my last visit, one of the brothers actually carried all my order to the car even though I kept trying to convince him that I'll make it.. even with my seriously injured spine. Fab service.. more than what I could ask for.nothign was any trouble for any of the staff there. Food...delicious!

Right the chilli sauce had problems they were leaking and squirted all over my shirt! And the people with me and they charged extra 50 p for my food for the drink but other people they never when asked why they said bc we do and the guy with glasses the waiter was rude the environment was not very suitable for kids

What can I say, ordered food at 7:43 and was told 30 mins your food will be ready. went in at 8:20 and they still was saying 30 mins more we are busy. Poor service.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Chum Cheese. I ordered two burgers, fries, and two drinks, but it took almost 40 minutes for my food to arrive. When I asked about the delay, the staff gave me various excuses, including that the order was burned. Meanwhile, they were prioritizing delivery orders over dine-in customers, which made the experience even worse. The lack of organization and poor communication was frustrating. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

Fattahyer are amazing best in town

The food was amazing, as was the hospitality and service from our server ismail. He explained everything clearly and passionately and made sure to check on us throughout our time. He also made sure to check that we enjoyed the meal at the end.

I came here on the recommendation of friends and relatives since I was visiting. The place is located in a good central location, you can easily find parking. We ordered a pizza, a portion of fattaya, chargrilled chicken fillets and a platter. The food was tasty and the portion sizes were great. Fattayas were something new, it was very filling and cheesy. The chicken fillets were cooked well and the peppercorn sauce went very well with it. The platter had a decent variety of items. The sauces were good and the chips weren't soaked in sauce. They served jugs of water and put extra sauces on the table. The place also has washrooms and facilities to wash your hands. Muhammad served us well and we're glad we went by his recommendations. Really nice diner with some good food options. The food was banging and the portions are very generous. It’s definitely a great recommendation and families would feel comfortable with the upper level seating too.

Went on a weekday night, plenty of seating and great food. The customer service is great at this place and they have a nice selection of food. All the food is made fresh so there is wait before it arrives

I tried the grill platter after great reviews. While it was decent value for money, the food was quite average. The portion was good, but the meats lacked flavor and the sides were unremarkable. It didn't live up to the hype. Not sure where all the hype comes from. Consider other menu options for a better dining experience.

Major Discovery of 2024, chum chee's. The food is the talk of the town. With plenty of seating, quick and friendly service, the food is super fresh and delicious. It is value for money, and the portions are generous. Can't wait for my next visit. Finger licking good!

I didn't try the pizza or Fatiyer which I will revisit to try. The chicken burger was really nice bbq style different to other places. The piece was a bit big for the bun and the bun collapsed but the taste was spot on.

Fatayer tasted really good and was a decent portion size for the price. The burger was a bit disappointing as it tasted greasy and lacked flavour - tasted like a frozen patty but can't be sure. Service was a bit on the slow side but it was friendly. Will be back again but might try a different burger.

Went after a couple of years. Usually I go for the pizzas but this time tried the burgers and it was a disappointment. I wouldn't recommend them as they have no flavour and peri chicken is really dry. We tried the chicken with donner burger and the beef with donner. Burger had a small amount of donner which didn't compliment well. I'd anyone is visiting or looking to visit, I would stick with the pizzas.

Got takeaway, fully loaded with toppings on both fattayer and pizza. Only down side was pizza was bit crispy on top think it was slightly Iver cooked unfortunately

Ordered food for the office from this place, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The food was prepared on time, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The quality and flavour of the food were amazing, and everyone in the office thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be ordering from here again and highly recommend it to others.

i ordered a delivery on tuesday, i rang up and some girl answered the phone. she did not know english and i don’t even she she understood what i was saying. i asked for the regular chef platter and she was telling me it’ll cost me £26?? i then asked her to transfer the phone to someone else which she did and another girl answered who sorted my order out with no issues and told me it’ll be around 45 minutes however it arrived within 30 which was nice. overall the food was very nice and the second half of my service was excellent.

Ordered 30 plus pizzas for kids party and I must say they was the best pizzas we’ve had at mount pleasant fc credit to the owners and staff throughout.

Ordered 2 fatayers through delivery and they came very quickly. Both were still hot and fresh. Good quality ingredients used and it was delicious with a range of toppings. Very large portion size, would definitely recommend and order from ChumChees again

Complicated menu and confusing pricing...very average food avoid...

Originally ordered to takeaway but then the kids wanted to eat in, so they were kind enough to give us a table. The food took long to arrive as it was processed as a take out order, but after a few nudges it arrived. We ordered pizza's and calzone, It was nice, hot and fresh. I really enjoyed the calzone, it was tasty and cooked to perfection. Staff were really pleasant and helpful.

Food is generally nice from here but the chicken steak with chips n rice I just ordered right now is nice then again not nice.. the rice has too much cinnamon, overly sweet too sweet and the cinnamon flavour has gotten into chiosAND the steak itself.. only thing saving this was the sauce but again a big let down!!

We travelled from Rochdale as we had heard alot about this place. Food was really good. We got recommended the fatayr, chefs special box and the grilled chicken. A special mention to Karim who was really helpful and had great customer service. A credit to your company.

Everything was , excellent only the way they sliced pizza was no excellent.

The pizza was nice and cheesy, the masala chips were good. Rest of the food was drenched in spice. To the owners and chef : less spice would improve the quality a lot as all I could taste was spice.

Travelled from out of town, I wasn't aware they'd changed location, went round in circles. Please make people aware when a phone order is taken. You might also want to make this known on google and other sites. stressful journey this evening, made worse by the miserable weather . Wasn't sure about parking for the new place either. Also the steak fatayer tastes different. not sure what they've done to the recipe 🤷‍♀️there were hardly any vegetables or chicken in the filling. And less of their sauce inside the fatayer. too many jalapeños and herbs in the sauce. You've ruined the recipe see pictures below. won't be driving up to Batley for this again.

Wasted 45mins round-trip because the little girl working there didn't give me my drinks. She then went on to say I didn't pay for them. Went down for the manager to say I did pay and all she did was hide and not even come out to apologise. Found this exceptionally rude. Wasted all that time for my food to get cold too but no compensation for it.

The new premises in Batley Town centre is definitely the goto place if you want to dine in or takeaway. Excellent food and service and a great atmosphere too.
