The best restaurants serving Default food in Todmorden Calderdale Yorkshire and The Humber

Didn't dine. Watched a live band..... Dr Butlers Medicine Hat Stand Band. Very entertaining. Had a dance. Nice ppl.

We had a fish, chip & irish curry sauce, pie & chips plus sausage & chips takeaway. The fish was perfect, not greasy at all & the rest was spot on too, whether your eating in or out it comes up as a great chippy.

Nice little cate and the food was served fast and was quite nice but this is where things go down hill, we had to wait quite a while to be served whilst the young lad made drinks and checked his phone, must have been an important message he had to send. We ordered toasties and chips which came before we got our hot drinks arrived. The same young lad seemed more interested in chatting to the young girls than checking in on us. Really good food spoiled by poor front of house service

We had a great night with lovely food! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Really good value and it was great to see a local restaurant so busy. What a lovely vibe. An added bonus was having a cool bar downstairs with a band playing. What a great place.

Delighted to find Grasso - amazing coffee with huge taste - great menu - the spicing and serving was perfection. We haven't eaten out this well for ages. Service was lovely and friendly. Hard to do justice to this superlative experience. Just simply the best. Thank you so much - we can't wait to come back for more.

Sheekh kebabs were nicely cooked but incredibly small in size and certainly not worth the price charged. The chips were again quite nice but I’m afraid the main course, chicken tikka rogan josh was simply dreadful; overcooked, far too hot to taste despite my request for a medium strength and it entirely lacked that fresh tomato taste. Indeed, it was quite unlike any other rogan Josh I have tasted elsewhere. I cannot recommend this takeaway based on this particular dish.

Our first visit to The Duke of ork. An enjoyable sunny March day in Toddy. The pub has been opened up with the bar to the right as you enter. Only one real ale but Albrecht happy to say the Eagles Crag Pale Eagle 4% golden was very good. We were not eating but the prices are very reasonable and Albrecht loved the 70's music. Pool and darts. TV sport.

Since Zaika changed hands, the service is beyond terrible. We've given them several chances, but takeaway is always horribly late and often with items missing. Takeaway 2 weeks ago took 2 hours! Went to collect tonight - 40 minutes after the stated time and still stood here waiting. No free bhaji with delivery anymore and there's always something missing from the order. Such a shame as the food is lovely. Tonight was last chance saloon and it's been a big fat fail.
