Really good food. I had the steak baguette and it was delicious. The beef was soft and full of flavour. The steak burger was also excellent. The music is really great too.

Love the knob love the atmosphere love the bands ..Not been for food yet but I've been told its good pub grub so yeah 🎉❤

Loved it here, a great selection of beers and lagers. We didn't eat but the food other parties had looked great. This place has a unique look, with sports memorabilia aplenty on view. Will certainly be back on an evening to see what one of the many advertised bands are like. Thanks for making our day in Tod a memorable one 👍

What an AMAZING place ❤️ Me and my partner came in for lunch, we ordered the roast beef dinner, meat and potato pie and the knob chip wrap. We just about finished our food with a few stray potatoes! The portions were very generous, the staff were very accommodating and friendly, it's a dog friendly pub with good quality food at a fair price. We'll definitely be back!

Delicious food! Had the Knob chip wrap from their brand new menu and was devine would reccomend! Proper home cooked chips and not the frozen chips! And at a bargain price of £3.50! Lovely relaxing atmosphere with very good bartenders and Chris the owner is very welcoming as well!

Our first time in the Knob, heard a lot about the Monday Club.. where else can you go to a gig in a pub on a Monday afternoon? ..and they have a band on EVERY Monday!! And the food ain't too bad either! Great venue, friendly staff and atmosphere.. love it, highly recommend a visit.. or two!! 🤣😂😎🤘

Fantastic Dog Friendly Pub, Terrific Atmosphere with the Retro Decor, Proper Background Music and Seating, Amazing Value Food and Really Delicious Large Portions. Staff are Really Friendly and Helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Todmorden, you won't be disappointed.

Had the beef baguettes with chips and it was absolutely amazing. The whole building looks incredible and then there's outside ! The greenery is immaculate

Great pub to nip into by the market 👌. Always a good selection of real ales, and a large covered beer garden out the back. A plus point is they now do coffee's as well for the driver's in the party. Well worth a visit.

Gimmick pub. Expensive beer. Same beers in Burnley around £1.50 a pint cheaper. Wasn't over impressed with the quality of the real ale I had.

Casta spotted this pub as we left the market. Seven outdoor tables in front of the pub.. all busy as the August sun made an appearance. Clearly a live music venue with a stage for acts. Lovely central bar with a service area to the rear (shaded) beer garden. Casta spotted a new Rochdale brewery for me to tick off. Whitworth Valley. Had an excellent American Pale Ale. Food looks yummy, pies and giant Yorkshire puds. Blends original Burnley Masseys brewery facade with eclectic Castleford Tigers themed interior/music. Three pubs into Toddy and I love it.

Fun pub that is known for its live music. Music on throughout the week. Good selection of ales. Cocktail menu. Quirky and fun decor with loads of old school memorabilia and trinkets. Outside area. Cash only but has two cash machines opposite. Highly recommended for watching live music in a cool setting! 🍻 🎸 🎼 🎤 💵

Visited for a chance pit stop and loved the decor and atmosphere. Didn't try the food as I've got dietary requirements but the gent at the bar was still pretty engaging when I asked about it despite not ordering. You HAVE to go in just for a pint and a look around

Proper Quirky! I would say it's an American Diner themed pub with simple pub fayre with the emphasis being on live music in the evenings. Really enjoyed my visit on a sunny afternoon with a pal for a drink and bite to eat .

Great roast beef and gravy baguette. Good atmosphere, great music, dog friendly. Quirky place.

Stayed over night and rooms were really a good standard and reasonably priced. Really good atmosphere inside with quirky deco, and situated in the heart of Todmorden on the main road so you can enjoy the world going by if you choose to sit outside with your drinks

A wonderful place to share with friends, listen to good music and why not a good dance.....I like that they constantly have live music. I will definitely return!

Saturday 28th January 2023 I visited this pub great choice of real ales on hand pump great staff great atmosphere and local environment This pub is a very open-minded atmosphere, Sunday 12th May 2024 I came into this great good beer guide pub in search of the usual grand choice of real ales, and I was not disappointed There were 4 interesting hand pumped ales on, and the interior may be loud coloured, but it soon grows on you . The bar staff friendly please beware on payment it is cash only so have a note or 2 on you to pay for the great real ale it sells There are 3 essential pubs to visit for real ale in Todmorden, and this is 1 I'll let people reading this review the other 2🤔🤔

Good live band playing, great staff serving fine cask ales. All in all a top night.

Nice pub recently changed hands, unique decor pub. Previous owner cash only. New owner card or cash, which is great, friendly. It's worth a visit. Seating outside, Market over the road on a sat.

This is a pub doing everything it can to be noticed. From the name to the condom like logo on the door to the hugely overstyled interior. It does look like it should be in Benidorm not Tod. But in its own weird way all this does make for a pleasant place. There's a few tables outside if you don't appreciate the interior. There's a fair old selection of beers so you'll probably find something you'll like there and the prices are pretty muchly the same as other pubs. Staff aren't over friendly with strangers but you get fast efficient service. Word of warning, cash only, there's a sign by the door, (plenty people miss it!). But there's cash machines just over the road.

Quirky design, you either love it or hate it. But the beer is great so, who cares.

its was different ie it looked very confused, looked like it was decorated by someone on acid, beer was poor, thought everyone had green legs until i realised it the amount of green lights under the tables.........never got the castleford connection as its miles away just the oddest place unless you like mutton in animal print

Great little venue, visited on Xmas Eve for some cheap drinks and live music. Comfortable seats and really, really, really dedicated glass collectors. Was cash only at the time, but assuming this isn't a regular occurrence.

Excellent Real Ales Situated near Todmorden bus station, the Polished Knob offers an excellent range of Real Ales Sky & BT Sports and live bands. Excellent pub well worth a visit

Quite a nice quirky place, beers are good, bar staff were welcoming & decor is certainly different. Live music judging by the stage area, although not during our visit unfortunately. Definitely recommend popping in, good atmosphere.
