Grasso in Calderdale

Delighted to find Grasso - amazing coffee with huge taste - great menu - the spicing and serving was perfection. We haven't eaten out this well for ages. Service was lovely and friendly. Hard to do justice to this superlative experience. Just simply the best. Thank you so much - we can't wait to come back for more.

Really lovely food with plenty of vegetarian options. Staff were prompt and helpful. Wonderful outside area overlooking the canal.

I'm so glad we stopped in here. The home made Mediterranean food is a delight. Served with love and care. Dog friendly and the prices were perfect.

We came here today (Friday) for lunch and were very impressed with the food. The service was great and we will be back.

Had a lovely lunch at Grasso today, they have a great lunch time menu with some dishes just that little bit different. The food was delicious and it’s all home made by the owner, can’t wait to see the new spring menu for the evenings. We would love to come back, the canal side terrace is a nice setting and you are made very welcome.

If you're a foodie, you're in for a treat. Grasso serves authentic Mediterranean tapas-style food and it's absolutely delicious. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Really good place for coffee, snack or a nourishing meal. Very welcoming and friendly. Imi is a great chef and a wonderful host. Great place to sit and write, or chat with friends!

Such a shame, this used to be a nice cafe before it changed hands. Surly staff, an uninviting environment, cold (temperature and ambience), and distinctly average food with no attention to presentation.

Absolute gem in Todmorden! We hadn’t been here since COVID (live in Manchester) and it was lovely to eat outside again here, love the wonderful middle-eastern inspired food, and prices are so reasonable (including drinks)! Need to revisit Todmorden more just to visit the cafe again!

The Mediterranean small plates are great. Choice of meat and vegetarian dishes. The aubergine was particularly good.

The greatness of this place began before I even ate there! They weren’t opening on the night I wanted to eat and they offered me a list of other places to eat. I went tonight and it was fantastic. Sitting at a table on the balcony at the back of the restaurant overlooking the canal, the service was informal and efficient. The food was great; the chef knows what he’s doing. It was a real flavour of the Med in the middle of Calderdale. If you’re in Todmorden, get yourself to Grasso.

We were really looking forward to a Sunday breakfast but ended up very disappointed and can truly say we will never go again . It took over half an hour for 2 croissants with cheese and avocado to arrive when the cafe only had a couple of customers. They missed our tomatoes off and arrived with a plate of whole cherry tomatoes . The croissants were very basic and disappointing and they totally forgot about our friends mushroom and toast so she cancelled it and got her money back. The toilet was very dirty and needed a good clean. There was no apologies about the very poor service , was shocking . We have no idea how this place is still open

Lovely relaxed cafe situated in the centre of Todmorden. Great value food and coffee with a balcony looking onto the canal.

Waited 45 minutes for a coffee and a hot chocolate. I know they were busy serving food, but to wait for so long for drinks is not accepatable tbh.

A great find. We went to Hebden Bridge. Too crowded, no parking. Found this lovely cafe in Todmorden. Easy parking, lovely town. Food was fresh, tasty and wholesome. The soups in particular. Staff/owner very welcoming.

We went to Grassos in November 2022 and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Lovely freshly cooked food and a very welcoming and helpful owner, whose recommendations for dishes we accepted and were very pleased with. Nice, ambience and very good service. Would definitely go there again if we visit Tod in the future

Yufka back on the menu! If you want freshly prepared, not run-of-the-mill food, then head for Grasso. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely relaxed place with great Mediterranean home cooked food. Had delicious Lebanese chicken and vegetarian Yufta. Fair prices and friendly service. Will be back soon!

Grasso is open again. I came for a coffe ages ago before covid. I decided to scout it out after all this time and try the coffee. I wasnt disappointed. Really good coffee with crema layer which i like. I also got a piece of fresh pannetone on the side of the saucer. Very nice. Yes, i will come again and try the meals.

We had a lovely time at Grasso last night. Amazing service - friendly, welcoming, checked in often and helpful with kids and dog! Really appreciated them making it special for our 7 yr old niece's birthday weekend. Mocktails were lovely.
