The Duke Of York in Calderdale

Our first visit to The Duke of ork. An enjoyable sunny March day in Toddy. The pub has been opened up with the bar to the right as you enter. Only one real ale but Albrecht happy to say the Eagles Crag Pale Eagle 4% golden was very good. We were not eating but the prices are very reasonable and Albrecht loved the 70's music. Pool and darts. TV sport.

Regulars were welcoming, decent atmosphere

Had some lunch here. It's not high end but it doesn't claim to be but for the low price it was really filling and satisfying. Genuinely preferred it to some more expensive pubs we've tried. Sometimes you just want some normal grub. The baguette was massive and with nice fries in a basket. Partner got a bacon burger. We had 2 drinks and it was only about £15 for 2 people and we were full. Could do with some music on for atmosphere but lots of seats. I'd say give a chance and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I've not been in for a while but I enjoyed my visit. The music was good and I had fun.

Fun old school pub with local characters in abundance. Bottles of cold beer recommend. Weekend disco so strut your stuff! 🕺🏼

Had a lovely interlude and met the new landlady Lisa who made me very welcome. Nice and warm and locals enjoying themselves. Can't wait for Music Monday.

Came from Manchester to Go to the football at Burnley great pub very friendly staff nice stop off point will go there again thanks for your hospitality,PS Great chippy across the road

I attended this establishment today after my brother in laws funeral service to celebrate his life and share memories. The staff could not do enough for us and The refreshments and food was excellent. Even the locals made me feel welcome. What a pleasure it was to have visited this place and the people.

Brilliant atmosphere, donw to earth place, no pretense, amazing land lady and team!

I have been to this pub a few times when visiting my daughter in Todmorden. The staff are friendly, prices as expected. Sadly my last visit resulted in my jacket being stolen, so if you visit don't put things down unless being watched by someone.

Nothing much in the way of redeeming factors here. Keg beer, scruffy pub in need of a refurb and frequented by customers who were effing and jeffing at every verse end. Orrible!
