Wings better than KFC and buy one get one free meals for under a tenner. Can't be beaten really for quick cheap tasty food. Staff are sound as well.

Prices gone up Service and taste gone down hill. I was one of first customer the day it opened. Now its dry small chicken cutting costs by reducing the portion to microscopic level.

The chicken burger has gone downhill! It tasted old and dry. The tea cake was cold which made the burger taste worse. Worst of all the chips were raw!

2 piece & 3 piece Chicken meal deal tasty & value for money, thou chips were not as crisp as they could have been.

I’ve used this place for 5 years and thought it was great until yesterday , Sunday the 3rd October. Got a chicken burger meal and the chicken was off ! Tasted and smelt disgusting.

Cheap and cheerful, taste is good. I like how they open early so I can get an earlier lunch when needed. They are generous with their chips.

I have been eating from here for atleast 12 years now. Very competitive prices and quality food. Taste is unbeatable.

I have to be honest so the food is actually fine but my complaint is regarding the arrogant old man who served me. He was extremely rude and aggressive when I merely asked him about why the prices had gone up. I would have expected better from a senior citizen who should have had so many years to learn the etiquettes of communication. Unfortunately, I don't know his name or anything; but the only way I can warn people is that he was an old guy, short in height and wore dress pants and a shirt instead of traditional uniform. Maybe he is the owner or something? But that only makes it all the more embarrassing that the staff are more well behaved than their employer. Very disappointed with his attitude and I sincerely hope that it was a one off. Nonetheless, such attitudes are totally unacceptable and I hope someone will educate him so that he is more capable in the future. P.S I have noticed that the apparent owner has replied to some comments in a manner that affirms what I have said. You need to change the negative attitude. No professional businessman responds to feedback by mocking the people who write these reviews. It's shocking!

Chicken burger is always dry and has black string bits inside. Prices have increased from 2.50 to now 4 lol. Why would anyone’ pay 4 for a below average chicken burger in Halifax is beyond me. Chilli sauce is decent but that’s about it Also the ‘owner’ responding to the google reviews isn’t giving the company the best reputation lol

Poor quality, inedible food. Not what is used to be. Won't be ordering again. Gone completely down-hill. Next time, I will try the Pound Shop as you suggest, atleast the quality will be better. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and disrespectful replies like that will not do your business any favours mate!

The thing is: The food is delicious and it fills you up soo much and its one of the best takeaways in halifax but women and girls aren't able to go in there because off all these men and boys hugging the shop. Like every time there's soo many men or boys in there so all women feel very uncomfortable inside so they can't go.

Not been here in years, just as good as it was 15 years ago!

Eventho it's almost 10 miles of a car ride out there, the food is amazing and worth the treat! The chicken is full of flavour. 1 bite of the spicy fillet burger you'll wish you lived next door!

Excellent service and very yummy burgers and spicy chicken wings. Best place in halifax for burgers and chicken and chips. yummy, can't praise them enough.

Great food good price and probably the best chicken burgers on the road only negative is the one member of staff that wears that fake Gucci hat with attitude that just slaps food around and groaned when I asked for additional sauce

I actually like the flavour of the food but their food insists on me throwing it back up for some reason (3 occasions and now decided to never have it again). I feel like it's very overrated by some people, the chilli sauce is just bad, the chciken is good (taste) but everything they put around it ain't (i.e the lettuce, the chilli sauce and wat ever they doing to make me throw it up).

Cheap and cheerful. Always warm food. In and out service. If you're sad and need to cheer your soul up walk in and order a spicy burger with cheese. (If you can't handle spice then get a normal with cheese).

Good food. My friends favourite place.

Had a meal on Sunday and had really bad food poisoning. The place always seems to be under new management and it has gone downhill to what it used to be. It is also annoying that some people come in and if they know the people behind the counter they get served immediately. I've noticed this multiple times and this should NOT happen at any eatery. Shall not be coming here again.

After waiting to be served i was told my the man behind the counter they had no chicken wings left, only for a gentlemen to walk in behind me (who was obviously a local) and he ordered the wings. To my suprise he was given them... no parking available. Staff where quite rude and there was a few children runing in and around.

horrible services and food don't get three spicy burger I just got it and it only had a few bits of chicken in not a filet like they say.

It is OK for the price, the chicken is a tiny bit salty and for some reason they don't put lettuce in the sandwich so it is just chicken and mayonnaise
