The best restaurants serving Default food in Dawlish Central and North East Teignbridge South West

Popped in on Monday afternoon. One cappuccino, one hot chocolate, a chocolate brownie, a slice of lemon cake, and a packet of pork scratchings. Lovely drinks, and food was excellent. Thank you.

Always came here for a drink as a local, cold drinks and good service. Live music was a mixed bag but some of it quite good. Great view from the upper deck. Didn't try food as they did not provide the service.

Forest Fungi is a great breakfast / brunch spot. The breakfast menu is served until 2 and offers some unusual and delicious options, mushrooms are front and centre as you would expect. They have also introduced a BBQ menu and offer tea and cake in the afternoon. There is a small farm shop on site and a good range of fresh baked goods. The service is friendly and approachable and prices reasonable. The best thing about Forest Fungi is the food, high quality, fresh, tasty and beautifully presented every time. At the weekend it is sensible to book in advance.

Great food, fresh and very tasty. I have been using this chip shop for years. It has changed owners quite a few times. We came here today and I was greeted with a young lady very polite and willing to help. The huge bonus was being to put your own salt and vinegar on yourself, huge winner.

Great selection of drinks, cosy relaxed vibe

Stayed at Cofton Camping Site for new year and booked the carvery for 14 of us for NYD and it did not disapoint. We all loved it. Good value and very tasty, infact its one of the best we have been to. When we go back we will be booking again.

Lovely café off the main shopping area. Delicious bacon bap and a drink. Very clean café. Warm welcome from the couple that own or run it. Used to go there about 25yrs ago when i worked in Dawlish, thought I'd try it again today and was impressed. Will def be going back again next time I'm over that way. Prices are excellent. Def 5 stars ✨ from me!! Give it a go too.

Basic environment, genuine service... Food is excellent!

We were drawn in by their monthly quiz night, and decided to stay for food and cocktails! They were happy to make vegan versions of their veggie tapas - the padron peppers, buttered garlic greens, and houmous with tortilla chips were particularly good. Nice range of great value cocktails too.

Wonderful tasty fish, large portions and very friendly service highly recommended
