Lovely café off the main shopping area. Delicious bacon bap and a drink. Very clean café. Warm welcome from the couple that own or run it. Used to go there about 25yrs ago when i worked in Dawlish, thought I'd try it again today and was impressed. Will def be going back again next time I'm over that way. Prices are excellent. Def 5 stars ✨ from me!! Give it a go too.

Liked the theme of this cafe so wanted to give it a shot… was abit anxious viewing the very dated looking food photos but was craving a tuna spud and understand how some of these greasy spoons are such undiscovered gems. The lady serving us had very little going on in the customer service department to the point of being frosty. I thought it was abit weird that the tuna spud came with no salad garnish but no big deal. Whilst food was being prepared we had chance to view the rather tired wall decorations and puzzle art. THANKFULLY the spud and tuna was top notch and just what I needed so turned out quite the mixed bag. Came away feeling the place could be so much more though…

Although the station diner as been here for several years a revisit made breakfast and a testimony it’s has good per the first visit. Freshly cooked along with tea /coffee toast etc if required... cost wise priced ok. Ideal if your travelling out example train station above the premises... good start to the day full to the brim so to speak. Yes a revisit I’m not complaining

Popped in for a cup of tea and a sandwich. One veggie one not both sandwiches promptly served, simply presented and very tasty. The trek to the station loos is a bit a bind as it is up a flight of stairs. Not sure if there’s facilities for the disabled.

Popped in here earlier for a bacon sandwich and a mug of tea. No other diners at 2pm. The sandwich was the worst I've had in some time - barely cooked, bland bacon with zero flavour and not much of it in the sandwich. The service was basic too - no smiles or engagement - just a transaction. Very, very basic.

I walk by this place most days and friends of ours have used it, particularly when he was working in Dawlish. The food when it was delivered, looked immaculate and was deceptively filling in as much that there was more on the plate than was thought for which is not a bad thing. For drink we had Raspberry milk shakes which came with cardboard straws but were of better quality than those you get in McDonalds !! Whilst waiting for our food it was very evident that this place has a lot of passing trade and until you witness it at first hand you don't realize just how popular it is !! Good luck with the sale and hope that the new owners,(whoever they may be) continue to provide the same level of service afforded to us.

Bought a sandwich for the 4.5 hour train ride home. It was made to order and so incredibly fresh. Ideal location as it is at the train station itself. Unfortunately a sign in the window saying business for sale so hopefully it will stay as a quaint little cafe at a seaside town

We visited Dawlish which is a superb little seaside resort. On our way back to the car we decided up on a coffee before we went home. We popped on and asked if this was ok as there were 7 of us including our disabled daughter, who can, on occasion be noisy. To say the lady inside made us feel unwelcome was an understatement. She said she would make us a take out coffee and then asked a gentleman if a coffee inside was ok. He was thoroughly non-commital so we took our business elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Plenty of good Devonshire ice cream in Dawlish (in Devon generally!) but Otter Valley is the best (IMO) and has some different flavours. Today I tried Rhubarb and Ginger which was amazingly rhubarby and gingery... love the 'alternative' decor too...

Was staying in Ladies mile for the Country & Western week. We went into Geronimos for A coffee & was impressed with the way it was decorated. The wall were full of Native American things. There was information on Geronimo, Sitting Bull & other things. Some items were for sale!! The café is up for sale & I hope the new owner Will keep it the same way. The food is reasonably priced, but not sure about the taste/value for money as we didn't eat there.

Had a short stay in Dawlish and popped in here - as it is convenient for the station. Decoration is definitely based around a theme. Lady behind the counter was pretty grumpy, to say the least. Cream tea - is a bit of an exaggeration as it seeamed like a fairly low cost scone with a bit of cream but lots of tea. Another customer asked if he could have a coffee with one sugar only to be barked at that you add the sugar yourself.

I had a meal here on at least 3 occasions, and was never disappointed. The coffee is unfortunately only instant, but high quality so it's a pretty good cup despite not being fresh brewed from beans.Breakfast was very good, typical full english with toast and a choice of white or brown bread. All ingredients seemed of good quality and well cooked and the service was excellent. I also had lunch there and had Fish, Chips and Mushy peas, decent portions and although probably frozen, the food was good quality and tasty. It also opens at 8:30 am so seems to be one of the earliest places to get food in Dawlish. Definitely recommend it.

A cosy little diner, with a native North American themed décor. It is ideally situated right next door to Dawlish Station, where you can get refreshments after a long journey, or prepare for the journey ahead. There are the usual breakfast selections and beverages, at reasonable prices, that you can eat in, or take-away, there is even outside seating. Order at the counter and it is brought to your table. It is also within 1 minute of the beach without crossing the road. My wife and I have been before and find the staff polite, even at busy times like the Dawlish Air Show on Saturday. I recommend their Breakfast Bap.

We had a look at a few cafes in the area and the average price of an all english without a drink was north of £6, after hearing about this cafe on TA we decided to venture in, for three breakfasts (one a childs) and drinks all round we had change from £15 as well as a fantastic breakfast to show for it. While I have never had a massive interest in native Indians I could not help but appreicate the unique theme of the cafe

A really lovely local country pub; many locals here giving the pub a true community atmosphere. Very dog friendly. Good beer, and the staff even friendlier than the dogs. On Sundays, they just serve roasts, but they accommodated us by serving delicious stuffing balls as a special favour. There is a roaring log fire and a comfy sofa, and sweeping views. Highly recommended.
